I recently received a Goodreads first-reads copy of the Pirate's Wraith by Penelope Marzec. I had not read any books by this author, but the synopsis sounded interesting. I'm a big fan of time travel books, so I was excited to read this novel. Lesley has just ended her engagement to an abusive man. Her car gets struck by lightening when she drives during a storm.
