Agh, this book has me frustrated. Upon conclusion, we are at the same place in the plot as we were at the end of book 1 - Alex STILL fearful of telling Olivia about her past, scary bad guys pursuing Olivia, and no climatic moment as of yet. Angsty much? (view spoiler) ...more

Seriously? I gave the first book 3 stars with pain in my heart because I really wanted to like it and I still had hope for this one. It pains me to give it just one star because I'm just not a harsh critic (I have mad respect for authors, I can barely come up with words to write mediocre reviews).

BUT I have a few things to say about this book:
1. People DO NOT talk like this in real life... seriously this was like a badly written Mexican telenovela...

A Tragic Wreck

A Tragic Wreck was just absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Ms. Leigh did it once again, with her second installment of the Beautiful Mess series, she had me glued to my kindle and devouring this book in one sitting. Seriously, this woman can write one hell of a romantic suspense. All I can say is that A Tragic Wreck should come with a warning label. Literally this book took me on one hell of an emotional rol
After reading this book, I can't help but feel that the storyline hasn't really progressed. Olivia is still in danger. Alex still hasn't told her about her past. I'm still waiting.

This time around, I found myself rolling my eyes a LOT. Olivia and Alex were just irritating with their overly dramatic, back and forth relationship. I couldn't hardly keep up with their angsty antics. It was just too much.

At this point, I'm on the fence about whether or not I want to read the third book. After this on

2.5 – 3 What’s happening?! Stars

I don’t even know where to begin….

I didn’t have high expectations, okay maybe slightly high only due to the reviews, but there’s so many things that went on, let’s just start with the major issue with the book.

Tragic Wreck is split between two books (in my opinion). If you have the first crazy, what-is-going-on half and then the, oh-god-you-know-what-hit-the-fan ending.

Olivia ran away and went to a beach house. Alexander is distraught. So…. I would assume Oliv

I am honored to be a Beta reader for A Tragic Wreck. It is the continuation of Alexander and Olivia's roller coaster love story and I have to say T.K. Leigh did it again. She captivated you from the first page to the last page with the up's, down's, happy and sad, oh yes the sad times of there relationship. I laughed and cried and yes yelled at my iPad while I was reading this book. Can Olivia over come her ways of not letting any one getting close enough to her heart to love ? Will AlexAnder fi ...more

Arghhh! How long do I have to wait for book three! The suspense is going to kill me. Every time I turned the page I kept waiting for the secret to be revealed or the bad guys to strike. There were times in this book I could quite happily have throttled the pair of them. Alex and Olivia are so obviously supposed to be together yet seem to be on a mutual path of self destruction.

Alex's exes make for some amusing scenes, and there's a cool surfer dude in Florida I really liked, I don't want to see

2 I'm being generous stars!

Watch me now! I'm banging my head against the wall over and over and over. This book just goes on and on and on with no movement in the storyline. I swear two books completed and I feel like Olivia and Alexander haven't moved an inch from the place they started. Overload of duplicated sex acts that absolutely have no feelings or deep emotional meaning to them. It was definitely a major case of porn without plot. There's sex and there's running. Then there's more sex an

I enjoyed the first book in this series enough to eagerly purchase and read this one. Unfortunately, I feel the story was agonizingly drawn-out in this second installment. I wanted to scream at both Libby and Alex for their dramatics, immaturity, and blatant refusal to be forthcoming with one another. I was done with both characters before I was halfway through the book. The angst factor was simply overdone and the relationship between the two main characters beyond ridiculous.

I recently had the opportunity to read an ARC of the first book in the Beautiful Mess series, A Beautiful Mess. I liked it so much and decided to join the author’s street team and I’m happy to say that T.K.’s Angels is an amazing group of ladies. We’re having so much fun together. We are so good at spreading the word about ABM that T.K.Leigh started to post chapters from A Tragic Wreck for us.

The feeling that when you wake up in the morning and there’s a chapter waiting for you is….well, I can’t

3 stars. This book is long winded. Hell I stopped reading it, read another books, then came back to this one.

We pick up with Olivia having fled in secret to Florida. Alexander distraught and searching for her. Drinking too much. Both of them really. Then Olivia meets Cam a surfer who makes her feel a little bit. Alexander meets up with an old FWB named Chelsea. Yadda, yadda, yadda they sleep with their respective rebound but when Olivia uses her credit card off Alexander goes to find her. When

I was fortunate enough to get to read the Beta copy of this book. 2 words...ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

I have fallen more in love with Mr. Burnham, he can tell me what to do any day! Leigh has gone and done it again. She writes an extremely captivating story full of love, suspense, and heartache. You will definitely need to have a box of tissues handy for this one. Leigh has gone and given me the best kind of hangover possible. I love her tremendously for that. I've got a love/hate relationship with Ol

Just finished beta reading this book, all I can say is wow this book is amazing. Ms. Leigh had me drawn into the story from page one I did not want to get off the couch. There needs to be a warning on this book to bring along a box of tissues. I am impatiently waiting for the release of book 3.

A tragic wreck alright ...
I was hoping that this second book would give me some answers and the supposed suspense...But it never came.
Olivia was simply annoying to me. Immature. Exasperating.
And all the indecision on his side, and then her side, and then again.... And even the existence of Cam! Really? Why the need to involve another perfectly good man just to make things interesting! Why?
I guess I just got tired of the story just walking around the same issues..over and over and over again.

***I was very fortunate to read a beta version of A Tragic Wreck.***
HOLY SMOKING HELL I freaking LOVED it. I just fell more in love with the characters. I believe Alexander Burnham is the PERFECT BBF!!! This book pulled me in from the very first word. A Tragic Wreck picks up where a Beautiful Mess leaves off. A Tragic Wreck completely wrecked me. Be prepared this book will put you on such a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, I cried (alot). I am honored to have been able to beta read A Tragic Wreck and all I can say is: Oh..My..God! You know a book is great when it evokes true emotion in you while you read. The book is the exquisite continuation of A Beautiful Mess. We see the ups and downs of Alexander hiding the truth from Olivia, her flight from her emotions. and the machinations of the people around them. This book made me angry, it made me sad, it made me want to knock their heads together at times, and it made me long for the ...more

Another great book in the Beautiful Mess series! Author T.K. Leigh has a way of pulling you in and you just can't help but fall in love with her characters. You hurt when they hurt and you rejoice when they're happy. It takes an amazing author to be able to get her readers to connect with the characters and have them so invested in the story. Miss Leigh has definitely accomplished that here. This is an incredible book from an incredible author and I highly recommend it! ...more

I was lucky to be able to beta read A Tragic Wreck - book two in the Beautiful Mess series.
Let me just start by saying, this book is an Emotional Rollercoaster!!!
I liked A Beautiful Mess. A lot. But after reading it, I was left hanging - I NEEDED to find out what happened next with Alex and Olivia. I absolutely LOVED A Tragic Wreck! The story of Alexander and Olivia just gets better and better! We finally get some answers about the past, but there is still a lot of mystery to be solved!

Omg I cannot believe this book!! What a let down from the first book (which was only an ok book for me)

So many missed opportunities to make this book something better, something different, yet it was just a car crash from start to finish.

Alexander, the guy who likes being in control, ended up being hen-pecked by every woman in the book.

Olivia turned into a desperate, needy, whiney pain in the bum and if I had seen her on the beach, I'd have put a bullet through her brain to put us all out of HE

Just finished doing a ARC read of this book. WOW!! What an emotional roller coaster! Be sure you are alone when reading this book as I was caught crying at work several times when reading this book and listening to the play list that the author provided. Listening to the play list is a must as the songs go along with the chapters and will bring them to life in your head and give you an emotional insight as to what the characters are feeling. 2nd book will not disappoint..

This book grabs your emotions & will leave you wanting more. Just has exciting as the first book in the series.

The title says it all.

The first book of the series, A Beautiful Mess, had interesting characters and plot lines. This 2nd book makes both main protagonists into crying messes. Both Alexander and Olivia run away from love and each other--it just doesn't ring true.

I also didn't appreciate the author stealing lines from "Sweet Home Alabama" and "The Notebook".

I was very honored to have been given an ARC for "A Tragic Wreck." Honestly, when I received it from T.K. Leigh, I literally dropped everything I was doing, as I had been chomping at the bit for more Alexander and Olivia and frankly, that's what you do when Mr. Burnham walks into your life! This book definitely deserves way more than 5 stars!! "A Tragic Wreck" was utterly riveting, mind blowing and beyond remarkable.

Holy crap! Ok, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect going into this one. I read and adored 'A Beautiful Mess' to the point where I was a little apprehensive of this follow-up novel because I was worried there was no way it could be as good as the first book. I hoped it would live up to its predecessor and somehow T.K. Leigh managed to surpass the greatness that is 'A Beautiful Mess'. I seriously loved this book. Once I started reading I couldn

The story picks up right where A Beautiful Mess left off with Olivia running to protect herself from her fear of losing yet another person she loves. She finds ...more
