Grandmothers recount incidents from their own lives or other family experiences that reveal the lessons that they most want to share with their own grandchildren
I rather struggled with what to rate this. I read it multiple times as a young child, and loved it (though a few of the stories were confusing/boring), but in reading through it again today, I found the messages mixed (with a good deal of self-focus), and a striking lack of God. Mainly, though, it upholds wholesome, traditional values like honesty, diligence, and service. Not a compelling read by any means, but enjoyable and healthy.
