It was a good story. Piper tries to get away from her overbearing father to see her sister and brother-in-law, as her sister has been disinherited for marrying for love instead of business. Piper takes a stagecoach in disguise so as not to be found out and meets a Texas Ranger along the way who is seeking to find some banditos that have been stealing cattle and robbing stagecoaches. Once he finds out she is not what she seems to be, all manner of bets are off.
