Rosalinde Bonnet loved to draw when she was little. She would often get into trouble in school because she doodled all over her notebooks during class. After high school, she studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. Since her graduation in 2004, she has written and/or illustrated numerous children’s books published mainly in France and England. She lives in Versailles, France. You can visit her at www.rosalindebonnet.com.
This is a great book for my daughter to learn her words. She loves looking at the pictures and knows most of the picture's names (ex. donkey) herself but the book lists the word so she can learn to recognize the word as well. However, if I realized the french book (My First French Word Book) listed both the English and French word under the pictures I would have only bought the French.
Found this one buried on the bookcase and wish I had found it months ago. Lots of cute images of just about everything to get babes learning their first words. Ours loves the "things that go" page the most bc he's obsessed with cars. But the animals page is another great one.
I love this book for my daughter to learn and practice her french words as she learns the english at home and the french in preschool. The words are shown underneath in English and in French. If I had realized that I would have just bought this book to cover both English and French rather than getting the English one as well.
