This may have to go down as one of the saddest books I have ever read. At one point I put the book down, put my face in my hands and just sobbed, my body shaking! Seriously, what book does this to you? I thought "How am I ever going to be able to finish this book?" But eventually I did pick it back up again (taking turns reading a Princess book helped I think). And it was so worth it, this is an amazing story!

So many books having you feeling for the victims - and this book does that too, but it

I enjoyed Joanne Tailele style of writing in this book. I felt she covered several aspects. The characters were well described and we get an indepth look into their lives up close and personal. For me this makes or breaks a book.
I want to know about characters, I want to be able to visualize them in my head. This book does that without a problem.
The intro into this book was amazingly written out.

The entire story with it's twist and turns links together smoothly to achieve a great storyline. Whil

Great storytelling in this debut novel. I look forward to reading more books from this author. Accident will pull your heartstrings. It is categorized as women's fiction but a great story for men and millenials too. From the inciting incident of a terrible auto accident that devastated a family with a young mother driving under the influence to understanding the events that destroyed her self respect. The female protagonist makes a way and finds a way to forgive and redeem herself as she finds c ...more

Book Club Questions 1 5 Feb 14, 2014 08:13AM
I was born a midwest girl in Youngstown Ohio and wrote my first short story at the age of ten in blue colored pencil. It was a mystery called "The Mystery of the Missing Marble." For most of my life, my writing was private, for my own enjoyment and therapy. In 2010, I discovered NANOWRIMO and I challenged myself to write a 50K novel in 30 days. I finished it, but it was awful. After joining an onl ...more
