Loved this book! Truly a haunting love story. I beta read this when it was in its early stages and loved it, so I can't wait to read it again.

Haunting, sweet, unexpected.

The story of Felicite is one of epic love, heart-wrenching tragedy, and mystery. And yet it is written in a simplistic language that all readers can enjoy. I loved the setting of Paris and the little tidbits you get of French culture.

This story is not one you could get into and predict the ending. There were so many times that I wondered where the storyline would take me, and it went in a whole new direction. I fell in love with Pierre and with so many of the charact

A splendid debut of a new author. I admit it took me a little bit to get into this book but then BAM! I was hooked and I really wanted to see how things ended up. I on more than one occasion found my self completely surprised by the turn of events. Ms. King knows how to lay stones, and foreshadowing for what is to come that are not at all what I expected. And I say that knowing the author personally and hearing of the idea in its early stages, I thought I knew how things were going to turn out a ...more

Excellent book. Such a captivating story - I couldn't put it down. Written with just enough foreshadowing to anticipate what might be around the corner, only to be surprised and horrified by an unexpected turn. Ultimately a love story about forgiveness and healing. A quick read with a clipping pace. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to be immersed in a story where the stakes are high and the consequences everlasting. Includes mature content: abuse, subjugation, implied rape.

I have read a lot of young adult fiction and I have to say this wasn't at the top of the list of good ones that I have read. But it wasn't awful either so to be fair I will say that I feel there are a lot of young people that will love this book and since that who it was written for it's ok that it wasn't my favorite.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I started this book today, but it sure wasn't this! Wow this book was something else! The characters were a little young to be having such intense feelings in my opinion but it was easy to forget that until I was reminded.

I totally enjoyed this unique ghostly story! One reason, it takes place in Paris! :)

It is fairly safe to say that plenty of women fantasize about running away to Paris, the city of love, on a conquest to capture the heart of the gorgeous boy they have fallen deeply and undeniably in love with. Fortuitously, Julia King’s Félicité Found is a much less expensive way to experience this type of aching bliss.

King’s debut novel tells the story of two young teens in modern day Paris who meet under the most gruesome circumstances. Seventeen-year-old Pierre witnesses Félicité jump from a

Gave it 51 pages and called it. I might be willing to give it another shot once it's professionally edited. The typos and non-sequiturs were too much for me.

I read through page 75, and then hopped around to see how it ended.

While I wasn't the right reader for this book, there's mystery and a unique premise. And the Parisian setting was cool.

Julia King grew up in a town in the happiest county in Utah. She enjoys reading, music (especially U2), the outdoors, and traveling. She appreciates a good television show. She has quite the sweet tooth. It is common for her to squeal up a storm when she sees a dog. Her favorite breed is beagles, and she longs for the day when she can have one of these furry, adorable friends of her own. And she l ...more
