Often I find that I fear reading historical romance. I have always been somewhat of a collector of history and historical fact and sometimes this makes me not such a great candidate for reading historical fiction.I tend to shred it apart when I find inaccuracies. I am pleased to say, that history buff or not, you will likely love this book. The research was impeccable and the story is lovely and compelling.

Dawning, by Olivia Stocum, offers a sigh-worthy cover as well as "The Princess Bride goes to the Scottish Highlands" feel. Olivia Stocum writes with a poetic voice/style, making you feel like you're right there with the characters, the Scottish breeze causing your kilt to dance. This is wonderful love story. We work so hard sometimes thinking we have to accomplish all these things to make us happy ,but all we need is the one person and together we can build anything. This story take journey on the course of their lives.many times I thought they would not make it. He made it so easy for someone else to come in. wonderfully written ,strong female and stronger bond. I loved their love breath of fresh air.

I had a few reasons for choosing to read Dawning when I otherwise don't read romances. First, it's historical, taking place in a time and setting so far removed from my own that I knew it would at least serve the escapist in me. Second, I had it on good authority (i.e., other readers) that Dawning isn't your average romance novel. Indeed, it isn't. The protagonists, Triona and Ronan, have known each other since they were children. This isn't one of those far-fetched, love-at-first-sight dramas.
