Wow ~ one word that could easily sum up this whole review. I fell in love with the cover when I saw it, but now I may love the book more (it’s a tough call). Incredibly well written, I felt every part of the journey like I was right there with Aro and the boys, some of which is so emotional it bought a tear to my eye. The character development is such that it is no longer words on paper, but friends that I’m watching grow, learning who they truely are an

Aro, Kei, Prince, Bo and Cain are still on their journey to return Prince to his Elven home, before he weakens and dies. This is complicated with Aro having growing feelings for Prince, as well as dealing with the death of one the boys, meeting new friends and family and Aro mysterious powers seem to be gaining strength. However, there are many dangers in their journey, including a besieged city, wild fey, territori

I really enjoyed Broken Prince. This fantasy read, I would recommend to older teens and adults. It is a great book. I think you, also, will enjoy this book if you enjoy fantasy novels.
I want to give this book a 100 star rating but it won't let me do that so, its getting 5 stars.
I look forward to reading more books by this author. Every one of her books I have read, I have genuinely loved!!!!

Broken Prince is the second book in the series of The Broken Ones.

The story continues on from the previous book. Aro and her band of survivors are making the journey to return Prince to his homeland. Along the way they encounter new creatures of magic, some good and some evil, make new friends and even lose one dear to their hearts. The prophecy continues to stalk Aro, her strength growing and her unusual grasp of the magic around them saving her and her friends even when all may seem lost.

This is the second book in the Broken Ones series. I cannot wait for book three to know what happens next. Aro and her boys story is heartbreaking and wonderful. Of friendships forged through pain and anguish and turned into something beautiful and wonderful. At times my heart felt like it was breaking and I’ll admit it Broken Prince made me cry. Twice! Now that normally does not happen to me. I realized that Jen Wylie has actually created characters that I h

Wow, where to start? The friends are on the road trying to get Prince back home to Rivenward before it's too late and he dies. The amulet he wore that sustained his magic was stolen by the slavers when he was taken. When Damon ripped the glamor rune exposing Prince as a Fairy, the rest of the friends could see he was suffering from that loss. The only way to save him is to help him get home. That's not as easy as it sounds.

Kei is learning to control his fury on his own, fearful of what may happe

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review and to support the author, Jen Wyle, I purchased an EBook as well.

I read the first book in the Broken Ones series called Broken Aro and was completely taken with the story. The second book, Broken Prince, did not disappoint me in the least. The story is captivating and written well. It moves along at an easy flow, letting the reader assimilate the details at their own pace. I really like the fact that each book has ended in a way that I knew

Broken Prince is the second book in The Broken Ones series and it picks up where Broken Aro left off with Aro and her entourage on a treacherous journey. One of my favorite things about this series is the way in which we are able to watch the different relationships wax and wan. We are enlightened to Aro’s inner feelings without her coming off as playing the sides or anything of that sort.

I was excited about the characters that were introduced into this book (fairies and weres and dragons oh my

“Broken Prince” by Jen Wylie is the continuation of “Broken Aro”, a fantasy tale set in a world of Elves and other magical and supernatural creatures. Arowyn has escaped a slave ship together with some friends but has to brave more adventures thereafter.
In this second book Arowyn and her mixed entourage need to hurry to bring Prince home to save his life.
Like the first book this one is full of turns and unexpected events, the story and the characters are really well written and keep your attent

I have to say this series is BEYOND EPIC!!!! Jen Wylie's writing takes on an imagination of such wonder. I loved every bit of Broken Prince. The journey Arowyn and her family embark is always one of love, loss and and so much more. I can't wait to see what Jen comes up with on the next chapter of The Broken Ones. Her words are so captivating, you just can't help but fall into the story and feel for the characters and their world.

Great story

First, it is important to read Broken Aro. The characters are well developed, the pace is fast and always entertaining. As an adult reading a young adult novel, I never felt the story juvenile or too simple. If you're looking for an exciting read with depth and a goodly dose of action fantasy including the complexities of loving relationships, you will not be disappointed.

Time Management

Broken Prince was a great read! We delve deeper in Aro's world and learn more about her magnificent group of friends she now calls family as they journey to get Prince home. The time restraints put on getting him home really kept me on my toes, and at some points saying "surely they won't stop here, right? He won't make it!" at my book out loud, which, thank goodness I'm stuck at home because I'd be getting looks.

Broken Prince by Jen Wylie is book two of the Broken Ones and picks up just a few days after the end of book one. Prince has been revealed as an Elf to his traveling companions by the Dragos, and with that it was also revealed that he is dying. Aro and her newfound family are determined to get Prince home before that happens.

I love the characters of this series. Aro is now sixteen and since the destruction of her home and being taken as a slave, she just keeps getting stronger. The men that have

Broken Prince picks up right where Broken Aro left off - with Aro and her family of men on their journey to Princes’ home, with the hopes that they will reach his lands in time for him to stave off death. Similar to Broken Aro we are thrust right into the action. And we experience loss very quickly and very deeply. But we also gain a new family member and go even further into the strangeness that is Aro’s interaction with the supernatural. She is important and the more we see of her the more tha ...more

I read this book in one sit, I loved Broken Aro so much that I needed to know what will happen with this peculiar family. Jen has the wonderful gift of creating feelings with just a couple of words. I missed reading a book that gave me so many mixed feelings.

Aro and her “family” continue their trip while they encounter new challenges, friends and losses. As in the previous books that I have read by Jen, you need to get ready to the journey of your life. You never know what will happen in the nex

I did NOT receive this book as a free copy; I received the first one in the series, drank it up, didn't bother to stop to review it, bought this one, ripped through it, will review this one...and only then will I go back to write the review of the first book - you know the one the author actually requested... This is the second book in the Broken Series by Jen Wylie. Broken Prince starts up where Broken Aro, the first book in the series ends. Before reading this book you really do need to tread Broken Aro. Don't worry my fellow book lovers you won't be disappointed.

I read the first book, Broken Aro, about a month or so ago and really enjoyed it. It was a new take on YA fantasy. Quite refreshing actually. I have a feeling about Kei and Aro. Just the way the prophecy is referenced it seems like there might be a little love relationship between them in the distant/near future. There is also a hint of something with Princ
Starts right of where it left of with Aro and her boys continuing their journey. It throughs you right back into great action. It was sad when the group experiences another loss and all the pain Aro is going through. You can really get a good sense of all the feelings and hardships they go through. It was heart wrenching, bittersweet yet captivating to the point I couldn't put the book down.

I like the connection she has with Prince and Kei especially all the bickering between them. The addition

The adventure continues with Aro and her family. In a battle against time Aro need to save her prince before it’s too late. Their journey is filled with danger, battles and creatures. And the closer they get to Prince’s home, the more danger they face.

Will Aro be able to save her prince, or would she herself fall before they reach his homelands?

This is the second in the great series The Broken Ones. Arowyn and her ‘family’ continue on their journey to the elven homeland to save the elven prince, before he dies. On their way they will feel love, hate, pain and sorrow which will test their friendship and bring them ever closer. As they travel, thoughts are never far away from the prophecy but they are just words, and things can change.

What I liked immediately about this book is that we jump straight into the action. We follow them on the

I really liked this installment. And then, near the end, after a large battle...the result of that threw me out of the story because the outcome was just like, "WHAT? No way that person could survive all this every time! Not when other, physically stronger characters are dropping over smaller injuries! Inconceivable!!! LOL" (I'm trying desperately not to spoil anything so sorry for being rather vague.)

I loved the first book and I loved this one even more. here we got to see the progress of the journey of Aro and her friends. It was really fast paced and was truly thrilling.

Aro discovers her true potential and also unravels what actually she is, which was really spooky as the author kept the secret securely hidden from the readers.
