Loved this book. It’s the first book that I’ve read that talks about how your baby feels your emotions in utero! So cool to me. Lots of books talk about how what you consume goes to baby and how much you exercise effects baby and birth but this was a whole new perspective on baby FEELING what you feel.

I won’t lie, it definitely felt overwhelming at times. I’m a highly emotional being and I did think to myself, did I already ruin my child in utero?! But once I put it into perspective, the fear went away and I’m now able to intentionally send good “vibes” to my little dude in a very intentional way.

My friend Dena gifted this to me while I was pregnant. Since then, I have referred/gifted this book to my fellow pregnant friends. It was that good!

It gave me clear direction, helped guided me and grounded myself to figure out who I wanted to be apart of our village. Not to mention, Dena is such a great friend as well so I think this was a bonus of the book.

Surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. many of the activities and concepts are beneficial for all life seasons, not just the prenatal time.

The book contains some interesting ideas, I found especially the part about labour useful. Overall it contains a lot of repetition, which made me skip through pages.
