Three hurting hearts. Too many secrets. One chance to conquer their fears.

Six Pack Ranch, Book 6

Over the past year, Travis Coleman lost the two people he allowed closest to his heart. Both gave him ultimatums—then left. Hell if he needs that kind of pain again. Time to move forward without the friends he thought might save him from his dangerous cra

A 4.5 star read for me, so I rounded up!

Sometimes it's so hard to write a review for a book that touched you so deeply and this is one of those times. I have loved Vivian Arend's Six Pack Ranch series from the start and with each book she's proven time and time again what a talented author she is, but this book just really hit me hard. Yes, this is a book about a menage or triad relationship, but it's about so much more. It's about grief, letting go of past hurts, acceptance, underst

Vivian Arend's Six Pack Ranch is one of my favourite western series, and I especially appreciate the uniquely Canadian view she adds to the stories. I think this is probably my favourite so far of the series. Travis' is a unique story, and the family's reaction to his revelations is pretty typically Canadian - we're a very tolerant and understanding nation for the most part, and proud of it! I'm a fan of menages, and the m/m/f is one of my favourite formations...of course that's not the only for ...more

Travis, Ashley, and Cassidy are SMOKIN' hot together. I honestly adored their dynamic as they slid into a relationship and I LOVED how the Colemans took Travis's sexuality in stride when he brought his two special someones home. I dunno, it totally worked for me.

But it took a while for the trio to reach the point where they were heading home to meet the folks. To start with, Travis had some issues to work out. Heck, Cassidy had some issues to work out. Ashley was the most accepting o

If you are like me, you have been soaking up every word to come out of Vivian Arend’s brain and into the Six Pack Ranch series. And have probably been scared and excited about this one!! Finally we get to see what the heck has been going on in the head of Travis Coleman!! I have wanted inside his head since book one. All along I thought we would end up with a MM, and g

This one was a little spicer than the others. It centers on Travis Coleman, Ashley, and Cassidy. Travis secret is about to come out. He has been hiding it for years and his lover Ashley knows, but his large family doesn't. He has been attracted to his best friend Cassidy for quite a long time and he feels sure he cares for him, also. Travis has to face the fact he is bi-sexual. He likes both. This is a good story of their journey

Sixth in the Six Pack Ranch western romance series and definitely an erotic romance as well, as it involves a ménage à trois that isn't exactly acceptable in this small town in Alberta, Canada.

It explores the fears of one bisexual man who knows what's coming for the three of them...and after the example his father set, he's not anxious to push that envelope. Yet the Six Pack family is a supportive one, and you can't help but love them all.

Let us first take a moment to drool over this fantastic cover! This is truly cowboy perfection.

I began my stalking campaign for an ARC of this book almost as soon as I heard that book 6 of the Six Pack Ranch series was to be Travis’ book. You see, this author, over the course of the previous 5 books has hinted at things only to suddenly throw in a wrench and change what I thought I knew about Travis. She has kept us readers on a short leash and we h

I really enjoyed Rocky Mountain Freedom! I have read previous menages, but Rocky Mountain Freedom was the first one that dealt with discrimination and hate. I would highly recommend the rest of the Six Pack Ranch series!

MinnChica: I have been chomping at the bit for Travis’ story since the first Six Pack Ranch book. I couldn’t wait to find out what the deal was with this sexy and mysterious cowboy. Arend has been so secretive about his kink, his sexual preferences, that we’ve all been left to wonder what exactly Travis’ deal is! I have to say, I loved it!!! I loved him with both Cassidy and Ashley, I loved getting to see what really drives him, and the sex scenes were OMG

My own bias but I never really believe in the more than two people in a relationship HEA. I know. All things are possible but, jiminy, trying to navigate a relationship with one other person is a full time job. When you throw in a third I can't imagine it makes it any easier. This is the story of Travis and Ashley and Cassidy. Travis has always been my least favorite of the clan. He's violent and pretty much a manwhore. He and Ashley were involved, he and Cassidy had been involved and now all th ...more

This is the sixth book in Vivian's hot cowboy Six Pack Ranch series and revolves around a ménage a trois (wooooooo!) between Ashley and two ridiculously good-looking cowboys. This is a coming-together story. Travis lost both of the people he loved, and a year later has decided enough is enough and brings Ashley along to show Cassidy the life they want is the life they deserve. For Travis fans, this is what you've been waiting for. The tight-lipped Vivian has finally let it be known that he's in ...more

Ashley Sims, Travis Coleman and Cassidy Jones what a group of amazing people. The warning given with the book is no joke.
"Warning: Dirty fighting, dirty talk, dirtier sex--secrets are coming out. Get ready for ménage a trois and cowboy-on-cowboy action, with ropes and crops and the kind of relentless love strong enough to set a man free."

Believe every word because this story delivers this and so much more. They make you see that love comes is so many forms there really should be no reason

Why I read it: I bought it because I couldn’t wait for the audiobook (which I think will be available soon, just not soon enough for me!).

What worked for me (and what didn’t): I was in the mood for hot and sexy and reliably good so I checked where I was up to in the Six Pack Ranch series and downloaded Rocky Mountain Freedom. My favourite kind of menage book is where all three are romantically and sexually involved. Here, I thought there was perhaps a bit of a fairytale acceptance of

I've been such a big fan of this series and I feel like I've been waiting to get Travis's story forever. I definitely wasn't disappointed with the menage storyline in the least. I thoroughly loved the m/m aspects of the story, and throwing in Ashley just made the dynamics so much better. Ashley seemed to be the glue of the relationship, and she had such a fun personality. I do, however, wish we got to know Cassidy a bit more. He seemed a bit flat until almost the very end, and drove me a bit bat ...more

Totally worthy book for Travis. Quite often authors don't deliver for me when I've been waiting for certain characters' books but Viv Arend definitely delivered on this one! All my triggerpoints were adressed with a scorching hot and emotional ménage that both set the pages on fire AND had me in sniffles several times. I loved all the characters, I was amazed by the level of heat and the way this story worked on every level!

This might be my favourite Six Pack Ranch book yet. It didn't go quite as I expected, but I loved every minute anyway. Maybe even more, because Ms. Arend kept me guessing and turning pages like a mad woman.

It's long...too long to read in one night, like I did the other books. All day yesterday I was thinking about Travis, Ashley and Cassidy, and how they were going to make it work. Now that I know, I'm sure I'll re-read this again in the future, because it's such a great love story for three pe

Wow, this book really disappointed me. I guess it was not my cup of tea. The explicitness of the sexcapades was even a bit much for me. I do not care for the mental pictures it drew for me. I really tried to like this book and the first time I stopped at 50%. I decided to go back and give it another try but it seemed to be all about the menage and cowboy on cowboy with a real lack of storyline.

I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend this book.

I love the series and I waited so long for this book and lets just say I think my expectations were too high.

After 53 % I stopped reading it.

Almost from the start of the series, I wondered if Vivian Arend was going to tackle Travis’ story, as in previous parts of the series she occasionally hinted at Travis being bisexual, and if so, how she would handle a, for most readers complex, subject matter like that. She did tell Travis’ story, and she did handle the subject very well in my view (which is reflected in my rating).

Bigotry is part of everyone’s world, unfortunately, both in small villages and in large cities. People wit

Travis Coleman is struggling - he has a need for pain and living in a small town, the only way to meet it is to fight. His best friend, Cassidy Jones, left because of this. A girl he was seeing also left because of it. But Ashley is back, hoping to put roots down in Rocky Mountain and work on a new photography and art project she has. This story about 3 people with very different background coming together is very well written.

Ashley is a free spirit, Cassidy is hiding from himself and Travis is trying to not hurt other people in his life.

All the challenges these 3 meet on their journey is huge and still they manages to come through it together.

I like that the story is realistic in some ways, for me it makes me enjoy it even more. The storyline is good and the characters are well described so

This was the first Arend I have read, and I really enjoyed the deftness which she negotiated a love story between three people. There was plenty of backstory and good drama to make this engrossing from cover to cover.

The setting at a horse camp was enjoyable, and I was surprised it didn't feel limiting. The heroine was a great free spirit type, and the two heroes were sexy, masculine cowboys with a lot of complicated feelings.

The intimate scenes were hot and spicy, so not for the faint of hear

This is one of the best menage stories I have read. Usually I think even with a HEA that the menage would never last. I could actually believe in this one.
All the Rocky Mountain characters are believable and interesting. I always feel like they would be a blast to know and hang out with.
I wanted Travis to get his HEA and he did, except it was with two people instead of one. The mystery of what was "wrong" with Travis over the past five books was one I thought I had figured out. I was ac

Ok...so let's be completely honest here...not my favourite book. I couldn't really read some of the scenes detailed in the story...personally, I can't share and I can't see the hurting each other part....but that being said....I loved the story from a perspective where I could feel the pain of Travis and Cassidy. Ashley for me was a little "flighty" for my liking....
This story had me crying because of the idea that Travis and Cassidy had in their minds that they were not "loveable" or were

Rocky mountain Freedom was just shy of 5 stars for me.
I thought the author did a great job brining together this MMF triad.
Travis, Ashley and Cassidy had to work on their own issues before they became a strong thrupple. They grew in love and support which helped them face their family, friends and The gossip train in Whiskey Creek.

The book was smoking hot . I enjoyed watching them build individual relationships as couples. I think it made this three some stronger in the end.
