This book proved to be invaluable during our week in Tokyo, as it notes attractions by suburb and has some great suggestions for slightly-off-the-beaten-path things to do and see. We especially liked the pull-out map, which came in quite handy. My only gripe is the lack of family-friendly options, and the general snarkiness of comments about the few family-friendly suggestions they did include. The guide seems to be aimed at singletons or people travelling on OEs, but in general there was a good range of "young and hip" places to go that even us oldies found interesting.
