Demon Vampire is a story about two people that find themselves at opposite ends of life when they meet. One is naive and the other is seemingly in the know. This book marries an in depth description of each character as they come along and in time, delivers a powerful narrative that binds the entire cast in a love story that is both captivating and tragic.

I absolutely loved this book! The flow of the book has changed dramatically from the last version. It reads so well now it's almost like a paranormal romance thriller. I just got this book yesterday and read it in one sitting! Loved it!

If you are a vampire fan girl, I recommend this is the book for you. The Demon Vampire in it is nothing like anything other excuse for a vampire you have ever read. He is handsome, tall, and outright insanely powerful. The characters are so well done that I found

Demon Vampire: Revised Edition (Redgold, #1) by Virgil Allen Moore

Zack Giver meets a beautiful singer at a Goth club. Once he meets her his life changes forever. He learns the truth of what he is, and what his Mother was. As he comes to terms with the reality he also struggles with vivid dreams, dreams so real he is uncertain what they mean. His new friend is there to explain it all to him, no matter how he feels about the truth, he must accept it or his life will be in great danger.

An awesome
Young Zack Giver is a less than typical teen, he isn’t as big, funny, athletic, smart or popular as his peers, actually, he doesn’t seem to fit anywhere, often lost in a daze, not picking up on the world around him. Short description off the top of my head? He’s a dork. Even his father seems to not give him any type of respect. So, when Zack ventures out to a popular club, why is the hottest girl in the place paying any attention to him? Who is she? Why is she so strong? Will her wildly reckless ...more

This is my second time reading this book. I was given a review copy of an earlier version by the author, and now this one. This book was great to read. I did have some issues with the first draft, and was amazed that the author actually listened to reviewers of the first draft and changed the book to make it more readable and more enjoyable while keeping the author's voice and story intact.

The story jumps through time, looking at the story of Zach Giver, Del Marin, and a black plated vampire dem

I found this to be a very well written different approach to the vampire genre. I enjoyed this book and the characters. I felt the author took time and developed them so we could become well invested in them. The book flowed smoothly and I was able to read it in one sitting. I am glad this book will be continued as I really enjoyed the characters and would like to see where he goes with them from here. I would highly recommend this book to my friends who read in the vampire genre, but I would al ...more
This book was given to me by the author in exchange for a review.

I picked one of the worst times to try to read this book as my work had so many distractions keeping me away from it once I started. I was happy to find it didn't matter where I stopped, that I could pick it up again and quickly catch up again. A huge plus as a working mom of three.

I found myself liking the Marin character more than Zack the main character. Perhaps he was too young for me to like but the old spirit and storyline fo

I like vampires. I have read a good amount of their stories and this one was one of yhe better ones. I imagine its hard to put bloodlust into words and be able to create a world that examines actual vampire feelings. This book made me believe in the fragilities of vampire kind, including adding a different slant on the existence of a subspecies. There are things I want to say but they could potentially spoil it. I will say, that I look forward to the next book and I will pay a little more attentio ...more

This was pretty close to the old version of the book. A few things were changed, but it was just about the same book as the original. I'm glad the author decided to make changes based on the reviews from this edition to make the next version.

I seriously couldn't finish this novel. The switching between time periods was very rough and caused a great bit of confusion, along with facts and knowledge that doesn't fit with the older time period in general. The typos are abundant, again making the novel lose any luster that it could have had. I honestly don't understand how any editor would allow such mistakes to pass through.

The story itself had potential, I just think it was poorly brought to paper, as if the author was writing this in

I must first off say that my kindle didn't seem to read the file correctly and I had some trouble getting to my kindle with all formatting in place. I did notice some errors that need editing, but most of the problem was my crappy formatting problems (which once again, was my kindle and not the story!)

I must say I was very excited to read this as I am a vampire fan and love to read

With this novel Moore gives a big twist to the age old vampire story. The vampires in this book aren’t afraid to be vampires and do what vampires do. That said, they also don’t run around on massive killing rampages. They also don’t sparkle or risk their immortality over a high school crush. It’s a nice change from the current expectation of the genre.

Moore is a very descriptive writer. He lays everything out before his audience so that you’re never left guessing where something is or what it lo

I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. (It's my first review, so bear with me!) :)

I liked that the vampires are portrayed a bit differently than how they are in other books. (With the crazy multitude of vampire stories out there, I think it's a feat to be able to think of something out of the box) Of course, similarities are inevitable, but I still consider it a breath of fresh air.

My rating of 3 stars comes from the fact that I liked the ideas that the autho

First of all I would like to thank the author for the ARC copy of this book and the opportunity to read and review it.

This is a vampire novel that harks back to the days before vampires were the object of teenage girls' fantasies. The dark vampire that unapologetically does what he is meant to do.

Zack, a misfit teen is approached one night by a beautiful girl named Kyli. From that moment on, Zack's life is never the same. He finds out that he is a Vampeal- part vampire, part human. From Kyli he

Wow is this book long! This book is extremely detailed. Sometimes to a fault. This book takes you inside vampire's dreams, which is something I have not read about before. This book has many main characters, and the story jumps to different people’s point of view. This story says that vampires who mate with humans have children called Vampeals (half-vampires, who are hated and killed by real vampires). It also talks about the "gifts" (special powers) that vampires get and different categories th ...more

This book was very difficult for me to follow. It seemed like one book and then halfway it turned into a whole other book and then went back to the first book after some time. One focused on a character named Zack and the other on Del. The only thing that had any meaning connecting the two is the red tie info we got as a background (another book within the book) story on Del that Zack wore. The Zack story seemed to move at a very slow pace and have no real direction. I enjoyed Del's story a lot. ...more

I was offered a copy of this book on my kindle in exchange for an honest review. I really liked the concept of the story. I love the darkness of vampires and really hate that current writers seem to want to stray from that but that was what their appeal has always been dark, sexy, evil and sometimes a hint of their humanity breaking through. I didn't really like the writing in parts it seemed like it was all over the place. Honestly, I enjoyed the few chapters about Marin more than I enjoyed the ...more

I received this as an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was a pretty good book. To me, it seemed the writing was a little choppy but wasn't to bad. It took me a little bit to get into the book, but once I was able to it was a interesting story and I was glad that I kept reading. This book is definitely something everyone who is into paranormal books should read. To me it seemed to have a little of everything, demons, vampires, an something new called a vampeal. I received Demon Vampire in exchange for a review. I enjoyed the first half for some reason more than the second half. This story is an easy read & is about a teenaged boy who is becoming a vampire. The story follows Zack and his new girlfriend Kyli who is trying to reveal to Zack what he is becoming. With the help of musical artist Del Marin, they are learning about vampires and certain gifts that some vampires possess. ...more

I'm suppose to give an honest review and to be well honest I'm still trying to decide. I really enjoyed the supernatural side of it the characters and well the story but it was confusing with the two different stories that took me a while to connect, the writing was a little off but well who am i to judge i'm not a writer. I think that reading more from this author is needed for me.
