If you’ve ever wondered how to distinguish the rush of new love from true love, Emma Holly gives us a million clues in her 2013 classic “Hidden Dragons.” And I agree with each and every tidbit she offers. Plus Holly continues her delightfully magical “Hidden” world of fairies and werewolves, elves and other enchantments.

Half-fairy, Cassie Massie, was encouraged by her pure-blood dad to live outside of “The Pocket” (a world in which magical and human entities co-exist) with her human mom when her

Emma Holly is a fantastic writer of erotic romance.

The Romance Review

Dragons, werewolves, fae swirl into a fantasy worth reading! Ms. Holly pens a great story in her Hidden series. I haven't read the previous one and now I must go back and read them. This is one I had to read because I am a dragon lover. Not only do I love dragons, fae are high on my list of supernaturals that I enjoy.

The heroine Cass Maycee reminded me a little bit of Daenerys from the Game of Thrones. The storylines are completely different. However, the raising of dragons from eggs is simila

Emma Holly pens another magical addition to her fabulous Hidden series. This world has everything from Fae to werewolves to wereseals to humans. From royalty to blue collar workers. It's filled with humor and drop your panties sex. For me Holly blends the perfect balance of magical and sexual to keep me coming back for more every time!

We are back with the wolves of the RPD, and this time we get more of the sexy Beta Rick Lupone. Rick encounters a full Fae, who right before she dies, tells him he
I sometimes wonder how writer Emma Holly does it? How she makes her stories so real. In her Hidden-series she has created a magical city in the US. An anthropological experiment created by Fairies with powerful magic who wanted to see what would happen when different magical creatures co-existed with humans with magical talents.

In this book we meet half-fairies, gnomes, gargoyles and werewolves. The story about the ordinary, organised werewolf cop Rick Lupone and the insecure half-fairy Cass May

In this latest installment of Emma Holly’s Hidden series we find out how Resurrection (that pocket of reality that is part Fairy and part human) came to be. Werewolf cops Rick and Tony Lupone are on the way to work when a call comes in about two pureblood fae fighting with swords. They are closest and take the call. When Rick comes upon one of the fae who is dying she tells him that he has been chosen to protect the woman who is to be the Keeper and his failure to do so might mean the destructio ...more

I really like this story and this world. As far as erotic romances go, Emma Holly is very good at them.

I had to start reading this book in the Kobo desktop edition, to get past the cover, before I could continue to read it in my ereader. There is a URL buried in the cover page that prevents me from being able to turn the page in my ereader. The desktop edition has arrows on either side of the page that allow me some movement. The ereader relies on touching the side of the page, which does not wo

Ms. Holly is one of my autobuys. I savor her books like I do my hidden stash of Godiva. Her latest, Hidden Dragons, doesn't disappoint. She transports us to her world of Resurrection, a pocket of magical creatures and fae hidden in the mundane realm of humans -- a portal between the not always so friendly fairie realm and the human's earth. While other-worldly, Resurrection still has it day-to-day challenges for its residents. How do you get the hunky were-boy you crushed on in high school out o ...more

Woo! I won this autographed copy via the GoodReads FirstRead program, and I'm looking forward to reading it!

I did enjoy this story, and Cass and Rick trying to sort out the secret history of Cass's family, and who is after them now. Since the pair did know each other in high school, and secretly had crushes on each other then, this doesn't have the initial meeting, but they do have to get to know each other again as adults.

For me, the best part though was the (view spoiler)

I love this series. And I liked this book: the people were engaging, the conflict was high-stakes, the sex was HOT. I read it in one sitting, far into the night.

I did have one sort-of problem with it - the hero (Rick) and the heroine (Cass) have a genuine issue to resolve that seems to resolve rather suddenly. Cass has the power to compel Rick to do anything she chooses, against his will. He's utterly helpless to stop her. And he does express some trepidation about this - it just seemed to me th

As much as I enjoy Emma Holly, her paranormal "Hidden" series hasn't always been among my favorites of her books. But this book was really enjoyable. It surprised me a time or two, which isn't easy to do. Sure, there's plenty of predictability, but the WAY in which the story unfolds is surprising. And fun. And sexy.

Fairies, elves, and werewolves - oh my! Add in dragons and a mysterious cat... well, it's just plain chaos. But cute, vulnerable at times, and a steamy romance. Hard to go

A really decent story from Holly.

Seriously, who doesn't love dragon stories and especially with a "hot" alpha trailing the fairy girl. Holly also has really the most scorching love scenes. What more could one want in an a romance novel?

I really loved the dragons - they were adorable and hoping they'll show up in the next book. The romance was ok. This is a continuing series each one of the Lupone brothers has gotten his HEA and it was Rick's turn. Both Cass and Rick were too shy in high school to make the first move and then Cass moved away for many years. Cass finally returned to Resurrection and was soon involved in a mystery that brought Rick back into her life as her Protector. This time around, they didn't waste maki

Paranormal fantasy with dragons, goblins and smutty fluff.
Cass finds herself face to face with the boy she had a crush on, but now hes a grown man, a yummy one, but a cop, and he claims that shes in danger. Cass only dabbles in magic but now someone is targeting her, her only hope seems to be to trust Rick. As a Were and a cop, he should be able to help.
Now I cant wait to read the three first books in the series.

I have enjoyed all of Emma Holly's books. I am happy that this is another in her Hidden series. Although it is one in a series of books, it can still stand alone and is just as exciting and entertaining even if you didn't read the others before it. As with all of Emma's work it is steamy hot, and as sexy as ever. I highly recommend this book and plan to let my friends know about it as soon as possible.
Most of my Emms Holly books were on my ereader, until my son sat on it. So I had to wait for #acpl to purchase the paperback. Finally! I couldn't wait to dive right in. She has been on my list of authors I automatically grab. It was a bumpy ride at first. It took a bit to fall into the story. Honestly it was chaotic at first. But balanceed out and got interesting after the first few chapters. This book is definately best taken in a comfy chair and a glass or two! #dragonlovin

My favorite so far, maybe because I like Rick, but mostly because of the DRAGONS. We learn how Resurrection came to be, about some of the other powers of the fairies, a love story that does not go as smoothly as some of the other's have. We see all our favorite characters come together and save Resurrection. Just a fun story.
Quite good. I am impressed with the world-building in this series. I enjoyed the romance between the hero and heroine. Watching the heroine come into her own was great. No magic wang, no hero saving the day - how refreshing. This series is a little wacky, a little funny and definitely readable.

New slant on the Dragon story

The pocket was created from the death of the last Dragon. The pocket is a world that combines magic and mundane. But now there may be Dragon eggs and fairy factions are racing to find them and the keeper.
The romance is very stilted, and the female lead is really very cold. The secondary characters and the dragons kept me reading.

Great read

This was a wonderful book that I had trouble putting down. The dragons were made to fall in love with as were the hero as was the heroine. The storyline kept my interest so much I would recommend this book to everyone!
