The Secrets of the Mahjong Club

The evolving friendship of six women—all well educated, successful, professional, and now retired—is the centerpiece of this spicy collection of erotic stories. As they meet regularly to play mahjong together, they begin sharing the details of the sexual encounters throughout their lives. While the variety of experiences ranges from humorous to somber, at some point each of the women has experienced great sex. These distinct women, each with particular passions and their own inimitable pasts, bond together by reflecting on the manner in which their sexual liaisons have shaped and sometimes changed their lives.

I think this book was written by a male high school student. Many of the sex scenes are awkward and would not be considered pleasurable by any mature female. The worst scene is a rape perpetrated by the victim's uncle. I could not believe what I was reading. If this book is being marketed as erotica, the publisher sure missed the mark. Not to mention, it is full of typos. I kept thinking, did anyone even proof read this garbage? Skip this book, unless you feel like insulting your own intelligence!

A bunch of mature girlfriends who play Mahjong at a country club every week reflect back on the days when they were not so responsible, upstanding women of the community. Each telling their stories of first loves, first times, their wild days of promiscuity and adventures. Was just like sitting around with my own girlfriends and sharing.

While an interesting book - the ending is confusing. It JUST STOPPED. What happened? It is a dumb ending.
