eh just okay

When Kimihito already has to deal with 4 increadibly cute monster girls. (Miia,Papi,Centora, and Suu) A new girl is here. Mero. Great, another girl for Miia to think wants to marry darling(kmihito. They all have there own names for him. Papi Call's him "boss" Centora calls him "master" and Suu.. Well she only imatates the others.) Only thing is. Mero cant walk. She can only swim, so she's in a wheelchair unless shes in her pool in her room. Even worse yet.... Papi's going to lay an egg. Soon, she's nervous because this is her first egg in japan. Now Kimihito has to deal with that and everything else. This ecchi manga was the best! I dont ususaly read manga's just watch the anime. But this was amazing! Monster musume is probably by far my favorite anime.

The Monster Masume series is rated Older Teen which is appropriate considering the premise of the book is effectively a monster girl harem style book where one lone male is responsible for an ever increasing cast of potential love interests and how he learns how to overcome the problems with so many personalities and types under one roof. So if you can overlook the fan service and the perverse nature of this series (or you are just into that sort of thing) you might find yourself enjoying the comical styling and nice artwork of the manga artist. If however you are offended by depictions of breast and near but not full hentai experiences in your books then you probably will be better off with another series.
As is the case with the first two books of the series this book deals with different part of the everyday life with average human Kimihito and his Liminal (the word used for Monsters in this series) cohabitors broken up into chapters. In the chapter 11 Mila the Lamia and first resident in Kimihito's home grows jealous of new comer Mero the Mermaid and has to overcome the green eyes beast before things go from bad to worse. In chapter 12 we are taken away from the normal home issues to see how some monsters (in this case Orcs)might try to stir up trouble in human society now that the "Interspecies Cultural Exchange Accord" is in effect. Don't worry though because Agent Smith has a plan to save the day which you should read if you want to find out how. Chapter 13 deals with the harsh realities that a virus could mutate from human to monster so the girls have Slime girl Suu help take care of Kimihito so they themselves do no chance getting sick. Finally the 14th chapter involves how someone could take advantage of the "Interspecies Cultural Exchange Accord" and deals with a smarmy video pushing their way into the house for the sake of recording for interspecies understanding. Wait till you see what their true intentions are and how everyone works together to stop their plans.
My favorite part of the book involves the revelation of how Agent Smith handles the Orc threat in the 12th chapter. To avoid a spoiler I am not going to reveal the answer right now but I can say look forward to new faces coming up in the future. :)

Продължавам, учудващо за мен самата, да поставям 4 звезди на харем мангата :) Броят отново ме изкърти, представи нови "чудовища" и още много boobies ^_^' Харесвам женското тяло, та тези ecchi моменти ме радват не по-малко, отколкото биха радвали момче. Зомбиана е готова да унищожи всичко, а Меро е най-доброто превъплъщение на "tragedy freak", което съм виждала. Милото също ми допада, винаги нежен, внимателен и на косъм от смъртта ♡

Ich finde diese Reihe super witzig, aber sie ist definitiv nicht für jeden etwas. Es ist vor allem sehr, sehr etchi-lastig und das sollte man schon mögen, um dieses Reihe wirklich genießen zu können. Auch der Humor ist sehr eigen und mir liegt er definitiv. Ich finde alles sehr amüsant und was mich am meisten an die Reihe fesselt, sind die Charaktere. Zum einen finde ich den männlichen Hauptcharakter unglaublich sympathisch. Wie er sich so selbstlos um die ganzen Fabelwesen kümmert und auch die Eskapaden von Frau Smith erträgt. Und die ganzen Fabelwesen sind sowieso der Hammer. Herrlich gezeichnet und im Charakter so individuell.
Die Handlung in diesem Band fand ich besonders interessant, da es eigentlich 3 kleinere Geschichten beinhaltete. Zum einen müssen sich die Mädels an ihre neue Mitbewohnerin, Melu, gewöhnen und da kommt erst einmal Eifersucht auf. Dann wird Kimihito krank und was ich richtig genial fand, war eine ungewöhnliche Szene für diesen Manga. In dieser Szene/Kurzgeschichte lernt man das Team (MON) von Frau Smith kennen und das sind mal richtig geniale, abgefahrene Fabelwesen. Ungewöhnlich war es auch, weil es mal relativ ernst wurde. Es wurde zwar etwas abgeschwächt aber die Geiselnahme und was dabei alles passierte fand ich für die Reihe schon krass.

Mero debuted in the previous volume, but I guess I didn't get a good look until now, because holy shit those vestigial legs she has are just kinda really gross. But I guess it's balanced by the underboob popping out of her top, so whatever. But the fucking jointed fins. Jesus. It's like Papi's thumbs on her wings, I just can't ignore how unsettling this is.

Lo slime non mi dice niente. L'aracne è vagamente perfida. La sirena è fissata con La sirenetta e spera di finire in spuma come lei...
Senza dimenticare la squadra della signora Smith per contrastare il crimine da parte dei semiumani. Che hanno aggiunto un nuovo ingrediente alla storia.
Che palle sto fan service, però! E Miia è proprio... GRRR!

An interesting update to the series.
We get to see the "darker" side of luminals, but rather than being dark, the Orcs come across as simply foolish and idealistic.
The true darkness in the book actually comes from the humans. I would say more, but that would be spoiling several key elements.

I dunno man, these books are pretty lewd and ridiculous but overall I find the monster characters charming. It’s interesting to read about their different habits and mannerisms based on a life of being part monster.
Funny enough it’s giving me a lot of ideas about how to write the monster races for my world building.

A fairly mild volume of Monster Musume. Toward the end there is the beginnings of some semblance of plot, but otherwise I felt that Volume 3 was about the same as the previous two volumes: fun, but nothing amazing.

This is still junk, but at least there was some creativity shown in the story telling. Maybe it is almost 1.5 stars. I continue to dread plowing through the five volumes I have remaining.

Its quite fun and enjoyable. Nw to me but amusing plot and yes you can see the fans are being serviced with the 'art' but the story line and charcaters are really well put together.

One of the most original and exciting manga of the 2010's, Monster Musume is a refreshing and enjoyable take on the monster girl genre of Japan. A warning, this series is definitely for people over the age of 18, as there is a lot of nudity and sexual situations that parents may find unsettling in the story. In the not to distant future, a race called liminals, creatures who are half human and half animal, has made contact with the human race and initiate a cultural exchange, to allow liminals to experience and integrate into human society. One such liminal, Mia, a lamia, is accidentally placed with a hapless human student named Kimihito, and decides to remain with him as both a student and a love interest. During the course of the series, we meet, among other things, a harpy, a centaur, a mermaid, and many more monster girls who fall for Kimihito and wish to win him anyway possible. I would encourage this for all adult fans who enjoy comedy manga, harem manga and slice of life stories.

Now I can say it, the cutest monster is Mero, it's very funny the kind of love story she wants, the special team of monster is interesting but I'm still thinking that it's much fanservice.

I am found of cerea and mero the anime is a bit more tame :) the girls nursing Kimihito was pretty funny hope it picks up soon.
