Andy Stevens was a ‘Rock God’ of the music world in the 1970s and 80s. He lived his life on the road, going from one concert venue to the next. And then he met the sweet girl-next-door, Beth Morgan, his “Bethy”. As a couple they spent many years together traveling life’s highway – a path with many ups and downs, detours, and finally a place where they would spend their for ...more

Carlee Oliver became an unexpected addition to Andy’s life that changed his direction completely. She taught him how to love – unconditionally – and became the daughter he never knew he needed. But now she was off in Europe, married, sharing her life with a new husband, and for the first time in many years, Andy found himself alone.

Well, this was the end of the journey for Andy. Now in his sixties I wanted to find out how his life turned out. It was some rollercoaster. Ups and downs, laughter

Amazing series that can be summed up by the following quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson “Life is a journey, not a destination”.

This is the third book in the Rock and Roll series. You MUST read the first two books before proceeding further as there will be spoilers.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda… It seems like that has been Andy’s mantra for the past 17 years. Andy continues to struggle with moving on and saying goodbye to the part of his heart that has been occupied with Bethy for so long. He has maintained the single life ever since Carlee became permanently embedded into his life and now that she has married and moved to Lo
Great, I am still emotional about Andy's storie, what an amazing character!

I thought Rock and Roll Never Forgets was good and then thought....Wow...When I Look to the Sky was even better. Then Barbara Stewart did it again in Feel Like Makin' Love and I did not want this book to end!! But...unfortunetly it does; however, this love story has left a special

What a fabulous ending to a brilliant series. This whole series has really touched me and I was super nervous about reading this book. I was scared, for two reasons, firstly, Andy was getting old in book 2, I knew my heart couldn’t have taken it if he died, secondly I didn’t think that I could cope if he found love again, again, my heart I didn’t think could take it.

This series though makes you think

I finished this book the other day and have been trying to decide how to write down how I feel... I was so fortunate to receive an ARC copy of this book, thank you Barbara. I want to start by saying that I have been through the emotional ringer with this series but that's a good thing. You see when a book can make you feel something, happy, sad, devastated, bring laughter and tears(of joy and sadness)...then you know the author has a done their job. Feel Like Makin' Love has brought the whole st ...more

"When you sleep under a quilt, you sleep under a blanket of love"

This is Book 3 of Rock and Roll Never Forgets, a trilogy covering the life of Andy Stevens from when he met Beth, his soul mate and true love. Along with Andy and Beth are the the wonderful characters around them. You need to have read the first two books before reading this eagerly awaited final part to a truly magnificent roller coaster of a story.

I don’t have words to describe how much I loved this book. This series claimed my heart from the very beginning and never let it go. I cried my eyes out and absolutely fell in love with these wonderful characters. This is a beautiful, heart wrenching story about true love. The amazing Barbara Stewart took me on this incredible journey with her through the whole series. I will always be grateful. She showed me that

It took me a while to come back to this story, I didn't really like the second and thought that maybe it was because I wanted Beth and Andy to have their HEA. Now after reading it I still have the same opinion that I did before, I can't seem to let myself have Andy with anyone but Beth..

I was curious to see if the continuing saga could possibly be as good as the other two books in the series. I felt that the characters had become friends and had become so much a part of their lives as the author took me inside their heads and hearts. Their emotions became mine and I was waiting, on edge, to see where their lives would go.

Of course I was not disappointed! This book was amazing. The characters opened up even further and bared their hearts to all of us fans.

I absolutley loved this trilogy. Some people may not get it but I adored every character in it. its inspiring, touching, full of love and heartache and most importantly Hope. I think the book holds an important message that as long as we have hope there is good. without out hope, the world seems a little dark. I felt so much joy, strength and courage when reading this. it was beautiful. I was so happy with the roads they had traveled. from broken hearts to mended, full, shared hearts....
Absolutely Awesome!!

I have loved this whole series and this was the perfect ending! This series wasn't your typical "girl meets rock star...girl falls in love...they have wild sex and live happily ever-after" kind of books. This set takes you through some of that with Beth and Andy, but the true story (to me) was watching Andy evolve into the man he was meant to be. I don't have enough words to express how it felt to almost see how Carlee changed his life and to witness her grow up into a beauti

Thank you for writing this story, it is one I will treasure forever. I cried, smiled, felt the emotions through the characters. One of the best!!!!!!!!
Loved it! This trilogy was an amazing, heart-tugging journey of love! It was awesome to see Andy, now 68 years old, and how his rocker life-style affected 3 generations of the people he and Beth loved.
It was extremely heartbreaking to realize that Matthew and Carlee's strong and loving relationship constantly reminded Andy what he could have had with Beth if he had not been so selfish. After all they went through with Beth's battle, just to see another family member face her most difficult and

This is the third book in the Rock and Roll series. You MUST read the first two books before you jump into this one.

Book 3 was not what I expected, but certain parts were so thoughtful and important that I had to acknowledge this book with a rare 5 stars.

Why did I struggle with the rating? (Spoiler) At first, I was very uncomfortable that the author introduced yet two more illnesses to deal with in book three. I felt as though we had been through enough with Beth and I didn't want to go through it again with Carlee and KylieJo. Then, I read about the author and her volunteerism and work with those with Cance

This book was fantastic, wonderful and well written. I have read over 550 books in the eighteen months. These three books/trilogy by Barbara Stewart are in my top five best books that I have ever read.

Many life lessons about love, passion, forgiveness, fame, health challenges, compassion, family, and making mistakes and moving forward to live life again. This is also the longest review I have done for any book. I loved book one, Rock and Roll Never Forgets, so much that after book two, I read bo

I was one of the readers that swore i wouldn't read this book...i couldn't bare it if Andy found love again after Bethy. The timing of this release was perfect! it gave me enough time between books to grab hold of my emotions from When I Look To The Sky.

This last installment has a very different vibe. We look closer at Matthew and Carlee's relationship. We see Andy come to terms with so much from his past.

My one small issue was the transition b

Feel Like Makin Love is the final *sniff* book of the Rock and Roll Trilogy and the end of Andy Stevens' journey. This book was utterly amazing!! This series was not just about Andy's journey through love, loss, moving on and growing but his daughter Carlee's as well.

Life hasn't dealt her the most fair of hands, and in this book we witness her personal trials and tribulations, but it's her can do attitude, fighting spirit and love of life which helped her navigate the choppy waters and made her

By the time I got to this book I could not stop reading. This trilogy has become one of my absolute favorites. I love romance, I love HEA's but when a book reaches out and grabs me with a story line so close to home I feel apart of it. The final book in this series touched my heart as much as the first two novels did. The characters that I fell in love with and watched go through different trials while in tears finally get the peace they deserve. Carlee is such a strong character when faced with difficulties. I found myself routing for her to come out on top simply because of the out look she took on life. Kylee-Jo took my heart and had me shedding a many of tears for her plight. This book is about healing and learning to deal ...more

Amazing! It's been a long time since I've shed a few tears about a book and I must say this touching story had moments where they came out. My heart was still so heavy for Beth not being around for Carlee's journey in life through it all, but that's the sad way life goes sometimes. Thankfully she had Andy and he turned out such an amazing man. There were a lot of other great people along the way but it all started with Andy and his love and devotion to his 'sweet girl'.

This is the kind of series where you feel like you have become family with the characters and lived a life with them. And this book was a great finish to a great series.

This series really is the story of Andy, and I feel like in each book you get a different Andy; an Andy you want to punch and love at the same time, an Andy you want to hug and an Andy you want grow up to be just like.

Where to begin... Reading this is bitter sweet because I know this is the end of Andy's story. Each page will touch your heart no matter the emotion. Even though this book is Carlee's story, Andy is very present. I started this journey with book one thinking it would give me a little break from all the arcs I had been reading to review. Little did I know there were two more to follow and each one would wreck me. With each turn of the page I was reaching for a tissue. I feel as though these chara ...more
