Review:
My review of Book 1 is basically a series review, so instead of repeating everything, I’m going to focus more on the things I liked about this particular book.
And one of the things I loved about this particular book was that it was just as amazingly emotional and heart-wrenching as the first, but in a slightly different way. Whereas the first book was mostly tension, longing, not knowing who to trust, and the pain of Zoey finding out just how much Daniel had been keeping from her ...more

A very solid 4.5
Light erotica but hot steamy sex scenes. Humor, suspense, action and a lot of sass and ass kicking. Zoey does most of the sass and ass kicking. But Daniel and Dev do their fair share too.
Oh, and Neil is a fantastic character.
Well written. Great flow.
Loved it!!
Now I have to get the rest of the series.

I left it a bit too long between reading this book and writing this to give you a full review but I do know I devoured this book and that I'm looking forward to continuing the series.
This book picks up Zoey's story not long after the end of Steal the Light. Her relationship with Daniel is more complicated than ever before now that she knows exactly how many secrets he has been keeping from her, things with Dev would be going well apart from the small fact that she still loves Daniel and now her ...more

I thought I had an idea where this book was going, but I was wrong. So wrong. I devoured this series and I wasn't sure I could ever love Dev, and boy did I fall hard for him.

Slightly longer review on the blog -
Lexi Blake knows how to give her primary demographic what they want - a strong woman and two smoking hot men who are gagging for her. Her men are Alpha, her friends are fun, and her enemies, whilst powerful, are more or less good natured, somewhat slapstick caricatures of completely evil antagonists, it works. The sex is pretty hot, one scene in particular (view spoiler) ...more

Zoey, Zoey... you are a thief, NOT a bloody white knight! Zoey is a loyal friend and I'm impressed with the length she goes through for lovers, friends and family.
In this one, Zoey is still her kick butt self finding a way to get what she wants. She is going to steal someone out of the hell plane. This is not easy and her plan is completely hair-brained and makes me question her sanity. The fact that Danny and Dev follow her lead is impressive. It's a close call but I think I enjoyed Steal the Day even more than Steal the Light! Of course, being a vampire fan, it helped that Daniel held a more pivotal role here and I was able to really see him for who he is. Despite being firmly on TeamDaniel, Dev made it hard not to fall for him, especially when he proved he was more than a pretty boy out for a good time.

And Off to save Sarah we go. I knew it was coming. I knew we were going to rescue her. Zoey always saves those she loves. She does everything she can for others, and oh my was this a wild ride.
With tensions not exactly in a great place between our three, it seems like the perfect time to plan another job. This time though things heat up and they heat up fast. I loved reading about the dynamic between our favorite three, and i loved ...more

I really enjoyed this one as well.
I'm in love with these characters!
My heart broke for Neil and I was slightly perplexed with Sarah's recovery, shouldn't she be a tad more traumatized?
The only annoying part in this book is the one where Dev and Daniel plan and plot and don't bother to talk to Zoey. I could understand Daniel's need for secrecy in the first book, but not this one, not after the brilliant way Zoey managed to save all of them the last time. If you like menage then this book is perfect. I was surprised their love triangle turned out this way, but I love it. Zoey will stop at nothing to save her friend, Sarah. Her ability to forgive betrayal is astounding since she will have to put her life on the line to steal, not one, but two souls out of hell. Daniel and Dev are forced to work together if they will have any chance of pulling this off. They are sexy and very entertaining. The emotional rollercoaster on top of everything is just th

Wow! Zoey is just as sassy, if not more so, than the first book. And quite the annoyance to some as she is repeatedly told. In this story, Zoey wants to go back to get Sarah from the Hell plane.

Amazing Series!!!
Anita Blake, Meet Zoey!!! Loved this second book the most.
Zoey is so tough. I love all the funny, heart-wrenching, sexy drama that goes on in this book and the third book. I wish more people knew about this series because it is in my top reads for right now. I'm flying through these books in my spare time.

I was craving some paranormal romance (PNR) lately. I read a lot of romance books and putting some PNR into the mix helps break it up and keep it fresh. Also, I just love taking an escape into a world that is completely different. Whether it's vampires, werewolves, fairy, gods, devils, and anything in between, I'll read it all.

I really liked this book. I liked it almost as much as the first book.
I love the world-building in this series. The way the various supernatural beings interact, battle, love and get on each other's nerves was one of my favourite things about this story. I love the interactions and the human and non-human ways these characters approach inter-personal relationships.

When a member of Zoey’s crew is dragged to hell by a demon, Zoey vows to steal her back. The job seems impossible and will likely end up with Zoey and the rest of her crew also trapped in hell until a new client clues Zoey in to an artifact that will help her find her friend once in hell. The catch, Zoey also needs to use the artifact to find an angel and help him escape from hell as well, as he holds the key to Sarah’s ultimate redemption and escape.

Oh boy the second book got more into Zoeys world and Devin hotter as ever. I loved that it is the Revelation that can bring everybody together yet nobody knows what it really is. I was quite surprised that Zoey is growing into Daniel and Devin's world in a way that we see her growing up before our eyes. Now Daniel and Devin, well these are two sexy men that applaud Zoey for having both of them in her life. The passion they share is unlike any ménage a trios we see which just makes their relation

Steal the Day is the second book in the thieves series. It features my lovable trio, Zoey, Dev and Daniel. This book was everything I loved in a paranormal romance story. It was dangerous. It was fantastic. It was a thrilling ride. I am going to keep this short and sweet but Steal the Day was just magnetic. I devoured this book. Zoey is one fierce lady. She is strong, loyal and reliable most times. Daniel is still his brooding self but I could sense he was protective of Zoey. Dev was a hoot. He
