10 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book blew my mind!
My thoughts are all over the place right now. So I'm trying my best to let it all out.
*Takes a deep breath* Right let's get down to business
I loved soo many aspects of this book. The character development and descriptions were wonderful. I could create a vivid picture of them in my mind. The plot didn't feel rushed or clichéd. I felt like I was literally in this story and I didn't know what would have happened next. Sam and Christos were amazing ch

Fearless was very much different from what I thought it would be - but in a totally good way. I think the author has definitely found his calling and I was extremely impressed how good this book was especially since it was his first. Judging by the cover I was thinking this was going to be your average badboy with lots of hot sex and a little story thrown in to fill the chapters up with and I was way off. Don't get me wrong, there were some pretty hot

First and foremost I want to thank Devon Hartford for my arc copy of his first novel; but I honestly feel the novel needs work. Even though there were SO many things that didn’t work for me in this story, the overall story and twist was actually very clever.

Samantha Smith is living and attending college in San Diego. Samantha is majoring in accounting but dreams of being an artist. She has been hiding from an event in her past which constantly creeps up through her thoughts and ni

This is a new adult coming of age style novel, definitely aimed at a readership in the under 30 age bracket. We have Samantha Smith, a young girl carrying heavy emotional baggage, moving all the way across the country from DC to start college in San Diego. She’s hoping to leave her painful past behind and make a fresh start in the California sunshine.

Her first day really does

Favorite Quote - “Uhh, I thought I saw a gopher.”
He frowned skeptically. “We don’t get a lot of gophers around here.”
“You can never be too careful. Once they get a foothold,” I shook my head dramatically, “they’re a bitch to get rid of.” Why did it suddenly seem like the gopher metaphor referred to Tiffany?"
Favorite Character - Samantha

There was a lot to love about this book as it was packed full of emotion, humor and interesting characters. The story kept me guess

“An ARC was provided to me in an exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and comments are my own.”

4.5 stars! For a debut book, I’d say that the author was able to put the excitement in me as I’m flipping pages, chapter after chapter!

Let’s deal with the cover first, yeah I know, freaking hotness overload! Initially you might think (because of all the yumminess oozing from the hunk in cover) that what you are jumping into is erotica or anywhere leading to that, so let’s get this straight h

Unfortunately, this was another DNF for me--at approximately 60%.

I just couldn't get in to the story or the characters. It started out okay I suppose, but the more I read the more I didn't like.

Sam has moved from DC to San Diego to escape her past--frankly I am kind of tiring of the damaged heroine storyline. On her way to classes her first day Sam gets involved in a road rage incident, only to be rescued by a hot guy on a motorcycle--meet Adonis.

Sam proceeds to continue to "bump into" Adonis

I didn't know much about this book or author to start with. I picked this story on a whim.

So glad I did. From the get go I loved the narrative by Samantha as she was making her way to her first day at College. This concept fascinates me, as first days anywhere are usually the hardest for me.

Loved the humour that was there in her descriptions of all that was going on around her. Then when we get to first hear of the amazing god like man who saves her from the road rage in the making, wonderful.

First I would like to say, thank you Devon for writing a book with a bad boy that is not a bad boy or drama queen, thank you for writing a couple that might have a lot of baggage but do not just give up on each other and decide it is for the best, thank you for Christos and making him protective without being possessive. I am tired of those love stories....... This one was perfect.

Samantha has tragedy in her past & it haunts her daily, hourly perhaps. She runs from it, she binges because of

For a debut novel, I am going to was good. I am not bouncing up and down screaming that everyone needs to read this book, but it was an enjoyable read. And let's face it, the cover is smoking hot!

Let's start with the good stuff:

Cristos/Adonis. The man is hot. He is a tattooed, motorcycle riding amazing artist that works with kids every weekend. Awwwwww! He is also the campus manwhore. Boo! Oh well, you can't have everything! I did really, really like his character. He dealt with his pa

Hmmm... i am not sure about this book.

What i like:
1. It is romance book that is written by male author.

2. Adonis. Six pack, tattoo and art mentor. Have a heart of gold.

3. The flirty sexy dates and banter.

What i do not like:
1. Samantha. She is immature. Very immature.

2. The story is too long. Many plot that is very not necessary. I got bored in the middle of the book.

So i feel so so.

DNF – I may have given up on this one too soon (9%) but I just don’t have any patience with heroines that have overly wordy silly dialogue. The h’s gay friend (Romeo) was over the top silly too. UGH! As much as I like this bks cover shot, I couldn't make myself read any further to see whether I even liked the H/Adonis. Despite some good reviews for this NA story, I returned it for refund.

I picked this book up on Amazon for .99 cent, simply judging this book by it's cover. Eye candy always gets me!
However, what was between the covers was more than I had imagined!
This was a well thought out plot that included personal struggles, character strengthening, art knowledge, relationship building, and too many emotions to list.
Finding this author and book was like finding a diamond in the rough. This book was well written with just a couple of typo's that I found. This book kept me intr

I was super excited to read this book. First of all, the guy on the cover is smoking hot then when I saw that the author was a man..I knew I had to read it. I had to see how different it would be coming from a male. Before I get into discussing the book, I have to tell you...this author ROCKS! I have developed crushed on other authors due to their writing and I swear I have a crush on Devon Hartford, his writing is AWESOME!

Devon is one of my favourite writers. I'm glad as he is very talented and a credit to his writing. Once I read fearless I was hooked. Couldn't wait for reckless so made sure devon put me on the beta readers as I missed out on arc readers. Devon captures all the characters In this book. I found myself laughing at the way he words things especially kamiko and Romeo are the funniest. You won't be disappointed. Well I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am just gutted I have to wait for the next one.
This book started out perfectly and in the first 5 pages it had one my favourite lines
'Pick up your panties and grow some ovaries girl!' it truly made me laugh out loud, and that is just one of the things I enjoyed so much about this book was the one liners from Sam and her friends. Speaking of Sams friends what a great and mixed bunch they were. I have to say Romeo was definitely a favourite by Mad's was

Fearless was definitely entertaining. Some parts were a 4 for me and others were a 3.5. I feel like this book had so many good elements but they were delayed. There was good stuff in this book that with more development could have been great. With that in mind and the fact that the big bombshell was finally revealed I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I must say one of my favorite scenes was the beginning when Samantha is headed to her first day of classes at SDU and gets stuck in

First let me start by saying that I was so intrigued to be reading this story by the author, a male author at that. The reason I say that is, because I haven't actually read that many male author books, if I had I am pretty sure I could count them all in one hand. The only I can think of now is Devon Hartford, that is because I just finished reading his story fearless.
There is so much to say about this book, that deserves five stars. I have never been taken an emotional ride like this, I felt th

I really enjoyed this book.

The story was great, as were the characters, especially Christos - he is creative and intelligent, charming and caring, and as if that isn't enough, he is also very, very sexy. Another two really interesting characters are Romeo and Kamiko. The two of them made a good book even better with their banter and their awesome friendship, I loved them both.

And then there is Samantha ............ this girl had me grinding my teeth many times. I could not for the life of me un

even though this Book has a fair amount of bad reviews. I read it anyway (I like to form my own opinion) an I'm so glad I did. I loved it.
When Sam had a secret, which they all do, I had no clue as to what it was until it was explained which is good because I can usually guess what, why, when an how to most situations, but I didn't guess...yay lol that doesn't happen often.
anyway I love Adonis he is hot, Greek an tattooed.....what else is there (love the name, very well suited) but I cannot wait

I really enjoyed this book. I found the storyline really grasping, the characters were well written , and at times I love the humour in the book which will make you laugh! As the story progresses, it gets more involved and builds up quite nicely to the climax. There is a lot to love about this book as it was packed full of emotion, humor and really interesting characters. I admit the story did keep me guessing at what was going to happen next; I was pleasantly surprised at the turn out!!

I cannot wait for the other two books to be release for this series. I started reading the book and could not put it down until I had completed it.

I am not even sure where to begin with this review. Devon Hartford you have delivered what you said you would. This contained romance, friendship and mystery of the past that haunts their dreams.

Samantha runs clear across country to start a fresh live. She became and outcast in high school because she refused give her powerful boyfriend something th

After purchasing this book on my kindle I read the reviews and was worried about my choosing to read 'Fearless'. But... I was happily suprised!!!!
Now, I am not one of those people that nitpick books but rather judge by the emotions and how relatable the story is. This story definitely kept me going and had my emotions all over the place. I did not want to put it down. I wanted to know so badly who 'Taylor' was and how he/she affected Sam so emmensely. It bothered me throughout the book to now k

I really loved this book! It totally made me laugh out loud at parts, which doesn't happen often! The interaction and dialogue between everyone is quick and witty and drew me right in. On top of being a fun read, everyone has lots of secrets! But I liked that it's not too frustrating and angsty getting to the bottom of it.
It's the story of a girl trying to escape her past and start a new life across the country. She constantly gets herself into funny and sketchy situations that cracked me up, b

I was asked to read this book for an honest review, this is my honest review.

I truly enjoyed the story of Sam and Adonis! However, I was pretty upset with the first fifty percent of their story. At first I felt that Sam was being overly emotional and insecure about Adonis. They were not in a relationship and some of her comments about the women he was seen with were a little immature and childish. That being said, after thinking on this a little more I am not holding Sam at fault anymore. She is

I bought this on the recommendation of Jane Harvey-Berrick, who's writing I admire.
Well, stone me! What a surprise. I loved it!
The story is set around the fictional (I'm told) SDU. Samantha Smith has moved across the country to escape her demons and attend university in sunny San Diego. On her first day at uni, Sam is threatened in the traffic by a not-terribly-laid-back guy, and is rescued by a devastatingly attractive bloke on a Ducati. She runs into her rescuer again at school, and their rel

This book made me want to visit San Diego asap! Very educational, better than the few art classes I took back in my younger days altho', in fairness, we were too young then to have a nude model pose for us.Haha

Now, I usually don't read non-paranormal books because they're harder to brush off once you're done, and the ones I read always have strong female characters. So even before reading this book, I had already passed But of course I read it.

Well I finished it and actually enjoyed
