Moore to Lose is a sequel to Searching For Moore. Even though it was a sequel, the most part of the book is actually flashbacks from Mia's past. We get to see what she's been through since the moment she had left California, back in the 80s. (view spoiler)

It's honestly one of the best books I have ever read after Searching For Moore. It really makes you think about life in general I cannot even find the words to express how deeply I fell into this book. It's was raw and so full of emotion, I can't seem to move past this book. I don't think I will. It's raw wonderful and heart wrenching all at the same time. I in no way expected to be affected this much as I am with this book. Well done Julie and thank you so much for trusting me and sharing this ...more

Ah, where to start?! I'm partly intensely frustrated by this book and partly head-over-heels in love with it.

This is Mia's journey. Moore to Lose follows Mia through the twenty four years that she and Schooner were apart. It sees her trying to cope with the trauma of her past and trying to rid her mind of all things Schooner.

"Where are you? Am I supposed to go through this lifetime without you? Were we just not meant to be together in this lifetime? Would I even recognize you if we were

This is book two in the Needing Moore series and is the sequel to Searching For Moore. This book gives us answers to some questions we had from the first book. We see what happens after the gut wrenching end of SFM. But then we are also transported back and we learn more of Mia's life between leaving Schooner and the present situation. The first book gave us more Schooner's story and their reconnection. This book gives us Mia's difficult, painful journey. And it also gives us more glimpses into ...more

Absolutely loved this book! Mia's story is an amazing journey and one you shouldn't miss. I already loved Schooner...but Mia stole my heart in this one! Not only was the story beautifully written, but Ms. Richman has written some wiggle in your seat sexy scenes favorite combination in a book :)

I was blown away by Searching for Moore. I even went back and began re-reading their story before I started this one just to embed those feelings into me one more time, and sure enough it all flowed back so fluidly and with clarity.

I also find it hard for many authors to continue a trilogy in today's fast paced New Indie burst of trilogies. But for me, Julie just has it down pat. Here's why I love Julie's writing so very much. She's real and has lived life mor
Please see the last book in this series, More than Forever, for a short review of all three books.

In this second installment, much of the page time is given to Mia, filling in the years she and Schooner were apart. New characters are introduced as well as the healing process Mia experiences from a past trauma.
Disclaimer: I received an ARC from the author in exchange of an honest review.

Where do I begin?? I will start by saying that I loved Searching for Moore, but I am in LOVE with Moore to Lose! Mia Silver...I love this girl!! She is so real, so flawed, but just so easy to love. Her story is so raw and full of emotion. In her 24 years without Schooner, she carried the memories with her always and there were so many triggers that brought Schooner to the forefront of her mind. It's heartbreaking to watch her struggle through her demons and try to overcome her past and move on. ...more

I have waited so long for this book to come out. I had such high expectations and wanted to know so much about MIA and Schooners future. Well I didnt get much of that bad I did get alot of back story on Mia. I felt like though Mias story was really amazing but I loved the series because of Schooner and Mias relationship and I wish that the second book was based on them and not on all her past bad relationships. Overall the book was well written and I enjoyed it. It just did not move

So I JUST finished reading this book. Usually after I read a book I love I have to take some time to settle down and focus on what I want to write in my review. But in this case, I just cannot wait. I am feeling a strong need to tell you RIGHT NOW how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book, this series and of course, its author, Julie Richman. Moore to Lose is the second book in this series picking up shortly after the big cliffhanger in Searching For Moore left off. I could not wait to get my hands on ...more

I'm just going to throw it out there from the start. Searching for Moore is one of my favorite books this year, so I couldn't wait to see what happened in the next part of Schooner and Mia's story. I just assumed it would pick up where the first left off, and we would get the fallout of Mia's accident. I must admit, I was a little disappointed when I found out this book was going to be about the missing 24 years of Mia's life. I wanted Schooner! Best book in the series, wish it was possible to give it more then 5 stars!!

I will start off by saying that I believe this will be the most important piece of the puzzle to the whole series. Without this book, I don't feel that the story of Mia and Schooner will have came full circle for the readers once this series is finished.

Anyone who thought Julie was just going to hand over the HEA in this book needs to re-read SFM and realize you have a story that isn't so easily unraveled like most of th

The Needing Moore Series by Julie A.Richman
Adult contemporary trilogy. Must be read in order.

I have been wanting to read the Needing Moore series by Julie Richman for a long time, but never really got a chance to commit to a 3-book series. I have heard so many amazing things, that when I saw it was on audio, I grabbed the whole series ASAP.

I loved the epic story that covered over 25 years. I loved the realistic characters. However, I don't recommend the audio version of this

Book two of the series is full of enlightenments, filling in the blanks throughout the 24 years when Mia & Schooner were apart. Most of the story is about Mia, establishing her business, her reckless behavior trying to cope with her loss of the love of her life among many, many other devastating circumstances she had to endure. The author really got into the mind of this woman & revealing her many insecurities as well as her strengths. Mia has been through a lot so thankfully she is also very st ...more

Moore to Lose by Julie A Richman

4.5 stars!!!

“The one thing that she would give up everything for was not a fantasy and she knew that. She had tasted it. She had savoured it. She had consumed it. She had been consumed by it. And now, even if she had a treasure map leading her to it, she would still be at a loss as to how to find it. Or what she would do with it, if she did find it.”

Moore to Lose is the sequel to Searching For Moore. I loved this book but I was also extremely frustrated at times,

Dear Julie Richman, Searching for Moore was an unforgettable book that I feel in love with and was a bit of a baby over, but Moore to Lose just down right AMAZING!!!! Seriously I absolutely LOVED this book!!!

This book takes you back to the years Mia and Schooner were apart. I was not sure I would love this route of story telling but it really was so perfectly written that it worked extremely well. I love that outside characters are in this book and show the effect they had on Mia’s life and why

I completely inhaled this book in one sitting as I was dying to know what was going to happen after the cliffhanger of Searching For Moore.

So we are let off that cliff at the beginning parts of the book and then we go back to the beginning again, kind of.

This book is basically Mia's backstory, filling in the 24 years they were apart from each other.

Her life at her new college and the guys she met. Her success starting her own company and the men she dated.

Moore to Lose sent me on a roller coaster of emotions! I loved the crazy ride and loved it from start to finish!

In Moore to Lose we go back 24 years to revisit Mia's life that she was apart from Schooner. We see how Mia evolves into the woman she is today. I was so excited to get to go back and kind of relive those moments with Mia. It made me feel closer to her in a way. It helps you make sense of a lot of things as the story continues.

Just when you think you have it all figured out! BAM! Jul

Bloody amazing sequel to SFM!
Loved that the set up of the book was unusual with time spent on how Mia's life was during her and Schooners time apart, it was heartbreaking at times to see how lost she was and to turned believing he never really loved her.
This is a story of second chance love at its finest and it's beautiful and heartbreaking and that ending...bloody wow!

*Moore To Lose is not a stand alone novel. It is book 2 in the Needing Moore Series. If you haven't read book 1 titled Searching For Moore then you may want to hold off reading. My review will contain major spoilers*

I was completely taken off guard by this series! I was a little iffy about reading about characters this age. Honestly, I thought they were a little old (I like to relive my college days through younger characters) and really who could be HOT at 43? Well, Schooner is!!! Julie totally proved me wrong because I related to these characters alot, more than I expected, probably more than any book I've ever read. My one little complaint is I wish we would have got more of the here and now in Schooner ...more

In Searching for Moore, I was instantly caught up in Schooner's and Mia's story and after the way SFM ended I was definitely in need of Moore to Lose to take me off that cliff that I was left on. I love Julie's writing style and found myself again completely involved with Mia and Schooner in Moore to Lose.

After SFM, I was ready to jump headfirst into the next chapter of Mia and Schooner. I fully expected Moore to Lose to be that but really,

Mia and Schooner's story continues in Moore To Lose by Julie A. Richman. Readers have been anxiously awaiting the release of this book.

Moore To Lose picks up where book 1 left off. The reader gets the resolution from the cliffhanger in book 1, but all is not well in Schooner and Mia's paradise. Her pregnancy is high risk. The injuries from her fall have put her at higher risk. She is put on bed rest and this does not bode well for Mia. She has a hard time being inactive. She will endure this bec

If you’ve read Searching for Moore, the first book in the Needing Moore series, you will understand how devastated I was when I reached the conclusion, only to be left teetering on the edge of a cliff. And this happened after riding a roller coaster of emotions while reading the book. You might think, I then proceeded to send Julie Richman hate mail and she even thought that I might, but I didn’t because I loved the book so much. I suppose I could be called a masochist, but I love reading a book ...more

Julie Richman – you have surprised me yet again!!! I feel like I cheated on Schooner while reading this book!!!

Moore to Lose takes you on a journey through Mia’s past in the 24 years apart from Schooner. And let me tell you, it is one hell of doozy!! Mia went through some rough spots during those 24 years but it helped her grow as a person and become stronger. Mia tries just about anything and everything you could imagine and I was purely shocked – my jaw hit the floor!
