I'll probably never write a proper review for this so... A few points.
1) I liked this book in general. It was much better than the first in all aspects.
2) The heroine was very likable. Strong and compassionate, she was nothing like that idiot Presley.
3) The writing in these books just doesn't work for me. It is too formal and sctructured for erotic romance at some points. That first chapter was horrifying, like something out of a historical. Luckily the rest wa ...more
Bared is about Cora, who is a submissive and Aidan Knight, her Dom. Both of them are in it purely for the play and the pleasure they derive from it. Two years ago, they agreed that their D/s relationship is not exclusive. They can play with whoever they want. Outside of the club, they are friends but no more than that. The reason being was that Aidan already had a submissive, whom he was very in love with but she died in a car accident. So for Aidan, he can't be anymore than a temporary ...more
Cora has been in love with Aidan for years. At Club Sin she submits to him and loves him in the only way he will allow, but outside of the club they have no interaction. Aidan is still mourning the loss of his sub, Lily, and won't commit to anyone else. But when he starts to notice Cora pulling away from him, he must come to terms with his loss and be the Dom that Cora needs.
Aidan was the tortured Hero that you just want to hug tight and never let go. He didn't feel like he deserved Cora ...more

Master Aiden & Cora share a special bond, but although they play together in the dungeon, he has yet to claim her as his. When Cora became a member of Club Sin, she had already had experience but that doesn’t stop Master Aiden from taking her under his wing.
It’s been years since Aiden’s world crumbled, pain he thought he had worked through still lingers and only one has broken through. Cora ...more
Bared is the second novel in Stacey Kennedy’s BDSM series Club Sin and works completely well as a standalone. It is not necessary to read the first book in the series, Claimed, to understand what is happening in this one.
I think it’s safe to say that these books are based purely on a fantasy world where the doms are pretty much not just perfect doms but perfect men as wel – just exactly the way we girls would want them to be. So long as you accept this and just go with the flow, then these books ...more
Claimed (Club Sin #1) by Stacey Kennedy was a wonderful, warm, sweet story of love, submission, and taking chances with one's feelings. Bared (Club Sin #2), book two in the series centers on a smoldering D/s relationship that only flourishes in the dungeon at Club Sin. I liked the overall premise of the story, but I didn’t like how it played out on the pages.
For two years Aidan and Cora have played together, spent enough time together to know each other wants and needs, but once the scene is fin ...more
I was pleasantly surprised by Bared. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much, I've picked up a few D/s club-type romances and they were often filled with sex and BDSM and nothing more. No substance. No character development. Nothing. This was not the case with this second installment to the Club Sin Series by Stacey kennedy. We were treated to characters with depth and real emotion. The supporting players were fun to read about and I became interes...more
It was better then the 1st book, but it still drove me a bit crazy...
In the 1st chapter the author completely murdered the male POV. There was no chance of revival and that's when I knew I had to take a break, read another book and come back to this one after. Reading an AMAZING historical romance really helped calm me down, otherwise this review would have gone differently.
I liked both characters, mostly. Cora is a selfless submissive who damages herself emotionally to help t ...more
Cora has been in love with Aidan for almost two years but he doesn't return the affection and that has started to cause problems with their relationship. Everyone knows she has feelings for him, except of him.

The second book in this series is as good as the first one but more intense! With light BDSM elements this story focus more to the romance than to the kinky parts. I enjoyed reading it very much because I found the characters very interesting.
Cora is Aidan’s submissive for the last two years and she’s in love with him. But he’ ...more
The Masters of Club Sin are back in this smokin’ hot must read Bared by Stacey Kennedy. While you can read this one as a stand-alone, I would strongly suggest you pick up Claimed first and meet Dmitri and Presley before you dive into Aidan and Cora’s story. Of all the BDSM stories I have read I have to give mad props to this author for the realism she puts into her scenes. A lot of authors go way over the top and have things going on that would requir ...more
The book blurb on this one does not lie; if you liked Fifty Shades , oh you will love this one. Sin City " Las Vegas" the home of Club Sin an exclusive Dom/sub club were Aidin Knight successful Vegas attorney is a dungeon Master and The dungeon he first met Cora his sub.

The first book had a definite protagonist & it was amazing. It surprised me that this book brought out emotion beyond the club scene & it was good. I really don't read these kind of books. They just seem repetative to me and once you've read one, you've read them all. This ...more
This was my first experience with Club Sin and let me tell you, I want a membership!!! Bared is the second book in the Club Sin series, and having never read the first book(apparently I was living under a rock), I went in blind...blindfolded would have been ok too.I was hoping I wouldn't be too lost coming in to the second book of the series but I was not.
Cora and Aidan are 100 shades of hot. Their play is sensual and sexy and their chemistry has you screaming for them to get tog ...more

At Las Vegas’s exclusive Club Sin, Aidan Knight is the Master, unleashing the erotic yearnings of his submissive lovers. But his dominant façade conceals a devastating loss—something he instantly recognizes in his personally trained submissive Cora Adams. Sworn to unearth her secrets, Aidan uses his seductive skills to ignite her wildest desires until Cora yields to the pleasure she ...more
I really liked Cora and her sass, she’s so sweet and spunky. How Cora sacrificed her own feelings was touching. Aidan cares for Cora tremendously and wants to understand her. I could see and feel how Aidan felt for Cora – waiting for him to realize it was agonizing (but it a go ...more
Bared is exactly what I hoped it to be! Aidan has all of the qualities that I enjoy in a hero. He's strong and loyal with a desire to do what is best for others even when it goes against what he wants and ultimately needs for himself. Aidan has suffered a tragic loss and carries the pains and scars buried deep within himself. Because of his loss he has limited himself to superficial relationships with subs. Although he has been playing exclusively with Cora, he's not ready to offer her any more ...more
For those of you that enjoyed the forbidden pleasures of the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy, Club Sin is another series in this BDSM subgenre of romance books that you will not want to miss. Bared is the second book in the series, but can be read as stand-alone book, as each book has its own storyline. All that said, for those of you that loved Dimitri and Presley (the main characters in Claimed: Club Sin), you'll be pleased to learn that they do make an app ...more
In the first book of the series, Kennedy showed the poetic beauty of the Dom/sub relationship where the Masters of Club Sin were so in-tuned to their charges and designed these awe-inspiring, deeply touching "scenes" to answer the women's most secret cravings. For me th ...more
The gist: Cora and Aidan belong to the private BDSM club, Club Sin. He's a Dom, she's a sub. He's still grieving the loss of his first love. She's in love with him and his grief tortures her (although he doesn't realize it).
I liked Cora and Aidan and wanted them to be committed to each other. As with all BDSM books, I can't necessarily 'relate' to the characters, but I DID feel for them. It was obvious Aidan loved Cora and ever ...more
It was hot and passionate and so damn confusing with the ups and downs and the "OMG hes breaking my heart but I refuse to leave! Or tell him how I feel!" (not to give away anything), that I just didn't want to put down the book because of it. I wanted to see what was next and it ...more
NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4
What a way to start a book. Chapter one was a bit intense and something you would find in the middle of any other book. But Stacey throw us into the deep in of the pool in this story.
I really did enjoy Aidan & Cora’s story. But these two tried my nerves. Both love and care for the other but the last two years has been a personal kind of hell for both of them. Cora is afraid to tell Aidan about her feelings fearing ...more
I loved Bared even more than I enjoyed the first book in the Club Sin series, Claimed. I was so excited to get to hear both Cora and Aidan's story, and fascinating it was. I adored both of the characters and the story they had to share.
Bared adds another fantastic secondary character, while putting emphasis on the characters readers came to love in Claimed. I continue to love the characters, and I think hearing Aidan and Cora's story was one of my favorite stories I've read in awhile.
