Prince Charming is a fun, short, easy flowing story about Geoff Miller, the school second smartest senior who's not very well liked by most of his classmates. He often acts superior and he's made it abundantely clear that he can't wait for high school to be over so he can get out of his hometown. The only thing he does love about that school is Laine, the school's hottest and most popular girl. So, when she starts hanging out with him and they sort of become "more than friends", maybe those last few months of high school won't be so hard to endure after all...

What kept me from rating this story any higher were the lack of depth to both the characters and storyline, their often immature behavior and way of communicating and the high predictability factor of the story. Or maybe the fact that the stor was very YA while I'm more used to reading NA novels also kept me from fully enjoying this story. Either way, it wasn't quite what I was hoping for when I read the blurb. Geoff was extremely insecure around Laine and some of the scenes between them made me literally roll my eyes at how awkward they were around each other. Still, the overall concept of the story was good and I might definitely read more of this author's work in the future.

This was a standalone from a male POV.

This is a great NA book but not the same old story. I loved that. I also loved that it was told all from the guys POV. The main character (Geoff) will have you laughing and rooting for him the entire time! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

I received this book for a honest review and as a part of the tour! Thanks! Original post on http://nervidetoamna.blogspot.ro/

I wanted to read this book because I like the cover, I like the idea of a guy as a main character. It's not something that you see usually in the YA world, so I decided to try.

It was a nice read, a easy, light one; this is the kind of book that you read when you want something fun or romantic, or if you like young adult. It's a simple, short novel about the high school life, with all the problems, full of dreams and love. But it's not deep, because in my opinion our character first does something and then thinks. I wished to see more of his thoughts.

Another thing that bothered me, if I could say like that, it was that everything happened fast. Like in a movie: the whole book happened so fast, you don't know where is today, tomorrow, he's alone, he wants to forget about her, is after her, he wants that, or that. I know that is YA, but we're not in a ride here. I wish that I could felt the book more, and not like a wind.

I don't know what to say more. As I said, I liked the book and Geoff. He's a nice guy, ironic, cute and everything you want. The girl, L., was nice too and I was surprised to see that she wasn't what everyone expected to be. This book is good if you want a light, easy, short, romantic, funny, fast read. If you want something more deep, then try another book. For me it was good because I wanted something funny and light.

**** RECEIVED THIS ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ****

This was a cute and eye opening story of a boy that not even an average teenager. He's smart and has his goal set in life. Basically is a nerd. I felt a bit sorry for him and hated the way he felt that he was a nobody. He only surrounded himself with a few friends. He had a major crush on Laine "one of the popular girls" Studying in the school library one day Laine sits with him and he's shocked to learnt hat she knows of him. It's a great eye opener to how he stereotype people when in reality he really don't know people. Like the old saying "Never Judge A Book By It's Cover" I recommend this book to anyone who's a hopeless romantic. Great job.

This is my first S. Celi book and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to read her. The synopsis is what drew me in, not the title or cover, but a story about a boy who longed for more.

Prince Charming is empowering, sweet, sensual and funny. I absolutely loved the character of Geoff and how he evolved chapter after chapter. He is the true epitome of Prince Charming. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next.

Prince Charming is everything the title says. This is your modern day Cinderella only we're hearing from the Price instead.

An interesting romance that mixes elements of Cinderella with contemporary reality into a cute tale.

Geoff lives with two jealous half-brothers and a stepfather with whom he can not communicate. Here begins the similarity with the Cinderella myth.
This young man whose family life is not necessarily easy, see life throught strange glasses. He thinks that everybody is against him.

The more, the reader advance into the story, the more you see that the hero found himself in this situation because he has created a distance between himself and his entourage. His intelligence and his ability to study make him want to leave his school and escape the life he leads.
But his teenage negativity does not reflect on the reality. Geoff does not take the time to enjoy the moment and he constantly judges his surroundings until he met Laine.

Personally, the beautiful princess charm has not operated on myself. I found Laine's reactions not as realistic as those of Geoff.
But she is an important female character to address the problem of violence against women and the need to be perfect in the eyes of others.

Specifically, because if you do not reveal yourself as you are and hide your troubles behind a smile, it will be difficult for your relatives to behind the facade. Just because people are focused on themselves and that what's made them blind. This side of the story was very interesting and well pictured by Sara Celi

I was less sensitive to the romance that lacked emotion for my taste. But that does not diminish the quality of the story and messages developed by the author that I enjoyed.
Not at all what I expected.

Lovely Read
Needed something light and sweet and this was perfect. This was a princess and frog story, except that the frog was not actually a frog. It wasn't heavy in plot, and although sometimes it felt like not too much had happened, it had beautifully captured what YA was about. It briefly touched on topics like divorce, dunk driving, anger, abuse, stereotyping etc.

This was written from Geoff's POV. Another male POV story! We need more of those :). We got to see how smart guys think. How insecure they could get. There were several moments that were quite awkward, quite contradictory of his level of intelligence. Quite charming, indeed! Oh and I loved that he didn't swear a lot, unlike many other male POV stories that I'd read. Truth be told, not many of them were YA.

I especially liked Geoff's speech near the end. It was very touching and heartfelt. It showed how much he had matured and grown. It was because of his speech that I added the half star.

I'm not sure that I liked Laine. Or, how she treated Geoff near the end. She wasn't an airhead like many other pretty characters (oops, I'm stereotyping book ppl here). But, how she sorta went back and forth wasn't that attractive.

I recommend this to anyone that loves a good YA read with a good message.

I really enjoyed being in Geoff's head! This book is told completely in Geoff's POV, and I have to say it is very much what I would of thought to go through some teenage boys' minds! Geoff hasn't had it easy socially at Heritage High. Grades and tests? No problem. Mr. Popular? Ha. Nicknamed Geoff Megadeath you can imagine how people see him. But aside from that I was actually surprised at how geeky others found him because he didn't seem that way to me. Just a smart kid who was somewhat arrogant at times. But he grows.

It really is amazing how much can change in six months. Geoff just didn't think his life would change so much. I really think the relationship with Laine caused him to shift his perspective over everything in his life. From the first interaction between the two I was able to see a difference. To see Geoff start to live. He really began to see that just because you are alive doesn't mean you are living. I really liked Laine too. I loved that she was more than she seemed. Aren't we all? I think she helps Geoff live and realize that he also has been judging people and Geoff helps her be herself and not someone she thinks she has to be.

This book was so sweet and cute that I got a tooth ache reading it. This story is told in Geoff's POV which is a nice change. There are a few twist and turns in this book to keep you guessing on the outcome. All in all it is a great YA story.

This book wasn't what I expected, and not in a good way. Let's break down this synopsis.

Senior class overachiever Geoff Miller thought he had it all figured out. All he needed to do was make it through the next six months, graduate, and get on with his life.

College at the University of Virginia beckoned him-- and he just wanted to put the last horrible four years at Heritage High School in the "done" folder.

This section was certainly true, however I didn't really feel it (as cheesy and weird as that sounds). Geoff recounts some of the hardships and miserable aspects of his life in school but they're not as bad as the synopsis makes them out to be (or at least not as bad as I interpreted they'd be). While he does have an unfavorable reputation, there's not many scenes in the book or recounts of his past that would make his experience in high school truly horrible . I mean I'm glad that his experience in high school wasn't as devastating as I thought it'd be, but it is disappointing not seeing what you were expecting to get.

Geoff just didn't count on two things: Laine Phillips, and sex.
This part is true as well, but the latter doesn't play as big of a role as I thought it would.

At first, his passing crush on the school princess seemed to Geoff like a distraction from a boring life in a snobby Greater Cincinnati suburb. Then one day, it turned into something more...
Crush? I'd call it an obsession. But my problem isn't with his level of feelings towards Laine, it's with the portrayal of the crush. His affections towards her certainly aren't merely a distraction from a boring life. It's something that's obviously been a big part if he Facebook stalks her a lot and knows what's what on all her social networks. The other problem is that it also doesn't feel like it's a crush that's been going on for a while. It's mentioned how he's longed for her throughout high school, but, once again, I just don't feel it. I see the verbal evidence and I believe it, but I emotionally don't believe it. I don't really feel the longing that's been going on for years but just a longing from an obsessed guy. (Sorry if that's unclear, I'm not good at expressing how I feel which is why I'm not a writer and why I respect authors who can/try to attempt to clearly express feelings/emotions).

Six months. Not that long, right?
It certainly didn't feel long. While sectioning the story into dates certainly helped to maintain it in a neat logical order, I wasn't really a fan on how much time would be skipped in between some scenes. Six months passed a lot faster than I would've liked it to which didn't allow enough time for Geoff and Laine to develop a more realistic romantic relationship.

Speaking of romance, I wasn't a firm believer. I believe they have feelings for each other (certainly Geoff), but

As for characters, I didn't most of them (or was at least neutral with some of them). However, I won't let this mark down on the book's rating as I normally do just because most of the characteristics that I dislike about Geoff are intentional. As everyone points out in the book, Geoff is judgmental. Being judgmental isn't my problem (come on, everybody's at the very least a little judgmental), but it's just that he judges and doesn't leave much room for argument which, again, people point out as him being almighty. I do question him sometimes. One example is when he incredulously says to Blake that Bruce and Blake treat him like he's hired help. Um, yeah you're technically hired help considering your stepdad/their dad pays you (which you set up by the way) to tutor them. While Bruce and Blake certainly have no right to treat Geoff the way they've had, I don't really like Geoff being painted the victim when he'd shown his lack of affection for them as well. As for Laine, I actually kinda liked her. The only time I wasn't a fan of her was after she left prom.

As for the pacing of the novel, it was okay. The beginning was kind of slow for me. It felt like the plot wasn't really getting anywhere, just following a mundane developing relationship. The ending seemed to pack all the drama and oh shits that should have been happening throughout the novel.

Overall, I wasn't a fan of this story. It didn't appeal to me as much I wanted it to and was left disappointed not getting what I was expecting in the synopsis. However, I refrain from giving it 2 stars because the writing certainly isn't the worst. Grammar, sentence structure, and description are well written and the author certainly did a good job making Geoff into the character everyone makes him out to be. If everything I complained about was the author's intention, then bravo to her because of course when it comes to novels it's never what the reader wants but what the author was going for (hence why I separated my personal rating and what this book deserves rating for this particular review). If you're wondering whether to read this book, I'd say give it a preview at least. This book has been receiving mixed reviews (my low rating due more out of personal preference) so it's hard to say where you'll fall under the interest category. You might be interested if you like mature YA for 16/17+ year old readers who want to see some romance and a little sexual content. I can't say for certain that his high school experience is relatable so just check out the first few chapters to see if this book is of any interest to you.

I am the biggest fan of S. Celi, she is just such a wonderful and loving person and a magician when it comes to writing fabulous stories. Prince Charming is not an exception and when I was offered to join in this blog tour, there was no way I was going to turn it down. Ms Celi’s writing style is just amazing to say the least, her characters are fun and loving and Prince Charming is of course from a male perspective, I just loved it.

Geoff Miller is an eighteen year old in his senior year at Heritage High School. His father died of cancer and his Mother remarried her high school sweetheart. With twin step-brothers, Geoff is surrounded by people that don’t appreciate or show their love for him. He is determined to graduate high school and leave town. The only thing in life that is worth staying for so far is Laine Phillips and his friends Josh, Nathan & Mark.

At school, Geoff is a no body going through each day trying to get the best grades and staying out of the limelight. He has had a crush on Laine for years and has never acted on it, she doesn’t even know his name (or so he thinks). Plus the fact she has the most wanted boy in school as her boyfriend, Evan.

Hiding out in the library after school to study, he is interrupted by Laine of all people. In shock, but excited at the prospect of talking to her, Geoff fumbles through their conversation and Laine actually sits with him to study. She does know his name and seems to like him. WOW!

That day in the library was the beginning of their friendship. Laine likes hanging out with Geoff and tries to get all the opportunities she can, although she cannot let Evan find out. THEN when fate seems to be on Geoff’s side, he gets the chance to take Laine out on a date **woot woot**. It doesn’t turn out as he hoped though with Laine running back to Evan. **boooo**

Rumours are going around the school about Geoff and he seems to be drawing the unwanted attention. Geoff is heartbroken now and doesn’t want to even go to school, he has everything he needs to graduate anyway, so what the hades!!

Circumstances bring them together again and having a blissful night only to wake up to tragedy. Laine doesn’t want to even talk to Geoff any longer and again his heart has to take the shattering.

Can Geoff prove his love for Laine? Can he show her how much and how long he has loved her? Will she accept Geoff and his love? Can Prince Charming win the day?

This would be a fabulous series with the other friends in Geoff’s little group. I love Nathan, he is such a fun character and Josh is pretty cool too. Prince Charming has a little of everything from teenage angst to heart ache and romance to family drama. I highly recommend this book to all new adult readers. ANOTHER WINNER!!

When I first started Prince Charming by S. Celi, I got the impression this was a modern day twist on Cinderella.  Very modern.  Our Cinderella was a guy, Geoff.  An 18yr old senior with two wicked step brothers, an indifferent, maybe harsh step father, and a loving doting mother trying to make everyone happy.  But this story was so much more than Cinderella.  This was a real coming of age book.  Hmmm...maybe I should say a coming of man, because in the span of 6 mos. we get to watch Geoff go from nerdy, straight A, low man on the totem pole student, to a bright, handsome, caring, loving, young man on the verge of adulthood.

This was a totally refreshing story told in the male pov.  We are with Geoff every step of the way as he muddles through a difficult home life.  An even worse social life.  All the while being questioned about his plans for the future.  Like he should know right then and there what he wanted to do with his life.  Well of course he should he was the class salutatorian.

Geoff is incredibly intelligent and he knows all too well how his high school operates.  He knows everyone, he knows who's dating who, who is popular, who isn't and he knows exactly where he falls in with his fellow seniors.  It's pretty low.  But he accepts it.  I won't say he embraces it though.  As the year progresses he becomes more and more disgruntled.  I thought this was where Geoff begins his period of growth.  We see him change, adapt, rebel.  Sort of like watching a butterfly emerge.

All along the way are trials and tribulations that many high school seniors face everyday.  But to add to all this turmoil, Geoff is smitten with a popular girl.  A girl deemed the princess of high school.  A girl dating the quarterback, Laine.  Laine is untouchable as far as Geoff and his group of friends are concerned.  However, Laine one day befriends Geoff and from there a relationship of sorts blossoms.

I did question one thing.  Geoff's father dies when he's 3 and all throughout the book there is mention of his father and his memories of him.  Like he remembers how his mom was before his father's death.  Obviously that wouldn't be true.  There were a few times when I was confused about who was talking and some conversations seemed a little stilted but nothing that would keep me from reading or recommending.

All in all I did enjoy Prince Charming and I would look for other S. Celi books in the future.

I’m a big fan of Young Adult books. So when I was asked to read an ARC of this and review it I was thrilled. I’ve read another YA book from Sara Celi and loved it!

This book is a story about Geoff Miller. Geoff is just an average guy. Okay, maybe he’s a nerd. He’s ranked second in his class and his only goal right now is to graduate high school, earn as many college credits as he can in his senior classes that he’s picked and to get out of Robert Hills. He wants to get as far away from it as he can and never come back. He’s seen how other kids go off to college and come right back and never get out of there. That is NOT going to be him. He’s going to make something of himself. As soon as he figures out what that is…

Geoff has been crushing on Laine Phillips since he noticed girls. Most of the kids in Robert Hills have all grown up together from Elementary to Middle to High School. They all know each other. Laine is way out of his league though. She’s the most beautiful and unattainable girl in the school. And she doesn’t even realize Geoff exists. Plus she’s dating Evan and they’ve been together for a while now.

Then one day Laine sees Geoff in the library and sits down with him to study. Geoff is completely shocked! He’s almost speechless. The story that follows is both heart warming and heart breaking. When I thought I had figured out what was going to happen next, Sara Celi would throw me for a loop! I loved reading along and see the nerdish awkwardness that is Geoff Miller. I think Sara captured this in it’s essense. You know those types of guys that wouldn’t know what to do with a girl if they have one, let alone talk to one? Yup, that’s Geoff. I was nervous and anxious along with him as he talks to Laine and becomes friends with her.

Geoff wants to be more than friends though. He’s been dreaming about her for what feels like a lifetime! And then he notices how Laine acts when Evan comes around. It’s almost like she’s scared of him, but that can’t be right. Evan is her boyfriend. She shouldn’t be scared of him.
I won’t go any further. I’m afraid I may spoil things even more. At that point in the book it goes into a downward spiral that you’d never expect. I kept second guessing and coming up wrong! If you love reading about high school and cheering on the guy to win the girl, plus some major twists, then this book is for you! I give it five shining stars!

I Was Charmed

Geoff is a nice guy. He’s smart, has good friends, gets good grades, stays out of trouble and loves his Mom. He also has a stepfather who is oblivious to him and his 2 stepbrothers hate his guts. Oh wait! One more thing – Geoff is in love with the most popular girl in school – who happens to be the school football hero’s girlfriend.

In life, very often things are not as they appear to be. Maybe the “perfect” girl is not so perfect. Maybe the football hero is a jerk. Maybe your stepbrothers don’t hate you – they are actually jealous of you. Geoff thinks these are the worst years of his life. He’s got the rest of it planned out and he can’t wait to leave this boring little cookie cutter town he calls home. Except that somehow, Laine Phillips, comes into his orbit and forces him to look at things in a whole new light. Laine is keeping secrets. Dirty little secrets, because like Geoff she feels trapped by the perception of people around them.

I’d been reading a lot of dark stuff lately, so, Prince Charming was just what I needed. Just like sorbet in between food courses or sniffing coffee beans while perfume shopping – it in a way “cleansed” me. It directly falls into the category of Young Adult. It was easy to read, cute and at times funny. Though it did explore some heavy issues, death of a parent, abusive teenage relationships and drunk driving – Sara Celi managed to do it without casting a dark cloud over the entire story. Prince Charming is not the great American novel but it was an enjoyable way to pass the afternoon.

I absolutely knew some of these characters while surviving high school. I found myself smiling at times and nodding my head in agreement in others. If only we knew then what we know now, we might have known that those years are a right of passage for all of us. That high school is not forever though it feels like it sometimes. That ultimately, at the end we come out better, stronger and more able to face whatever life throws at us. Whether Geoff and Laine are brave enough to defy convention, that my dear friends, I invite you to find out for yourselves.

I was gifted a copy of Prince Charming from the author for an honest review.

Prince Charming is a sweet romantic read about a boy named Geoff. Who is in his senior year of high school and desperate to graduate so he can flee his home town. Geoff who is ranking 2nd highest graduate in the school, has no problem getting straight A's. But getting the school "princess" to notice him is another matter. He has been in love with Laine since he can remember but being considered the school geek from the students, he knows he doesn't stand a chance with her. That is until she approaches Geoff in the library. From then on they start talking and hearing from his friends that Laine has split from her football boyfriend, Geoff decides to make his move. Things don't go as smoothly as planned but Geoff doesn't give up. He knows he wants Laine and knows deep down she wants him too.

I enjoyed this story and loved Geoff. I really felt for him. The fact that this book was written entirely from a males POV and being written by a female really worked. S. Celi had you believing that you were really listening to the thoughts of an 18 year old boy. I have read a few books from the males POV and it hasn't always worked, but Prince Charming really did.

Although it was quite a short book I didn't think it needed to be any longer. You are introduced to the characters and you get to know them throughout the book. Geoff and Laine are just so sweet together and I like that Geoff's feelings weren't just one sided. Laine never treated Geoff like a geek or an outsider. She always saw the good in him and told him so. I also liked that although others saw Geoff as a bit of a "hottie" and even the popular kids were jealous of him. He himself never saw it. It just made me love him even more.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a sweet fairy tale with a twist.

It's a good story of coming into yourself! Geoff <--strange name by the way! He was your typical teenage boy who thought he had everything figured out and everyone hated him. When it reality he didn't have anything figured out and everyone actually like him, he was just too blind to see it! I related to him, in a way I was the same back in H.S. and didn't really come to my senses till senior year!

He's had a crunch on the 'it' girl for years! But she's his unattainable, but by some strange way she becomes within a hands reach for him. And even though at first he shrugs it off as just a mere consequence he soon realizes it's not. After his friends basically shove him and dare him to ask her out, he steps up to bat and is even more surprised by when she actually says 'yes'!

As for the last month of the book, he did a lot of maturing and growing. He realizes some people have worse than he does and not all is as it seems! So even though he had spent the year being judgmental of every one he stopped and finally had his eyes opened wide by her! He was finally able to make some headway with his stepfather and some with his step brothers!

Overall its a great book and it shows you how tough H.S. can be even for the popular, geek, loaner, and everyone else can be! Cause when you stop to think about yeah H.S. can be either the best 4 years of your life or the worst 4 years of your life! It usually depends on your last name and status! But you get to have a peek at Geoff's life and even though it seems perfect its far from it!

Till next time ~ Sweets Books

The best thing about Prince Charming is the male protagonist, Geoff. The author hits high marks in making Geoff such a loveable guy who enjoys excelling at school even though he doesn't know where he fits in at school or at home. Geoff is in between social groups. He's not popular, but not considered a loser. His mother remarried her high school sweetheart after his father died and he lives with his cold step-father and two meat head athlete meat head step-brothers.

Unfortunately the book fails because of Geoff's love interest/crush Laine, one of the popular girls who dates the most popular boy in school. Laine is so sweet and nice and beautiful but she actually as dry as toast. She has no real personality and her push and pull of Geoff was very annoying.

The drama surrounding Laine is eye rolling, especially toward the end when something so ridiculous causes these two incredible angst just to engage the reader's emotions. I didn't believe the HEA for Geoff for a second, and I believe Laine would continue to break his heart. Also their one love scene was duller than dull.

A pretty forgettable novel with an engaging main character, but the writing and overall plot, including wet washcloth Laine makes this book a pass.

I'm giving two stars instead of one because of how much I liked Geoff.

This was a cute story. I believe it should be geared toward the young adult that likes romance stories. It centers on Geoff he is a senior in high school in the academic program. His father died a few years ago and his mother just remarried a man with twin boys, Bruce and Blake, who are also seniors at the same school. The twins go with the flow and fit in with the in crowd and Geoff gets teased and picked on alot at school. Geoff has always loved a cheerleader, Laine, but she has always been with Evan. They have been together for two years. Geoff gets teased a lot about his feelings from his friends. He makes a beat with his friend, Josh, that he will ask her out on an date and Josh will skip his next class. Geoff does ask her out, but he doesn't know Evan and her had a fight and broke up. She does agree to go out with him on Saturday. They go to a nice place for dinner and then they go for a nice drive and stop at a part to talk. Geoff finds that Laine is really nice and she is attracted to him. She gets a tex and has to leave so he knows its from Evan. He doesn't understand why Laine is scared. There is a lot more to this story as Laine returns to Evan and more things happen along the way. When tragedy strikes it sends everyone in a different direction. And Geoff finally comes to blows with the twins. Good story

This book was a great surprise for me, I just loved that it is written from the guy’s point of view. Geoff Miller is not the typical charming guy, the one that everyone wants to be with, but instead the guy that likes to study, have good grades, behave, takes care of his mother and knows his place in school.

He had a huge crush with one of the most desirable girl in school Laine Phillips for years, for Geoff she seems to be unattainable; she is with that guy everyone in school wants to be with, the high school star. But so slowly and in the most unlike way he is being noticed by her.

You’ll enjoy every page when you read about how Geoff struggles not only with his relationship with Laine but with his stepbrothers and father-in-law, who certainly makes his life difficult. But after everything happens Geoff not only realizes that high school is only 4 years in the rest of his life, and so he did a lot of maturing and growing within a frame of time, he realizes that not just everyone seem judgmental but that he is also one.

Grab this book to see how Geoff overcomes his struggles and try to win Laine’s heart, even though he is geek, a loaner, and certainly not a guy that seems to match the most popular guy in school and battle for Laine’s love.

I was given an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. This was the second book that I have read by the author and her writing just keeps getting better and better. Prince Charming was such a fun read. It charmed me to no end. This book brings back so many high school memories- both good and bad, some funny and some cringe worthy. I absolutely fell 100% in love with Geoff, who wants nothing more than to graduate high school and escape from his father and step brothers. Geoff is totally in love with Laine, the princess of the high school. The girl that we all knew. But life isn’t always black and white. Geoff may be more popular than he believes and Laine’s life may not be as perfect as everyone thinks. I adored the mixture of high school innocence and drama. Thanks to some amazing writing, this book flowed seamlessly and made for a fast read. Even though the book centers around high school students, the author gave these characters life, depth and maturity. I loved how the entire book is told through Geoff’s POV. It was fun to see high school through the eyes of someone of the opposite sex. Prince Charming will steal your heart. It certainly did mine.

TRACY'S REVIEW
4 STARS

I wanted to read Prince Charming simply based on the title, because what girl doesn’t want to read a fairy tale? Prince Charming was a modern day Cinderella story but told from the POV of a male character. Geoff was in his senior year of high school. Second smartest kid in his class, and completely friendless. Geoff is a snobby rich kid who thinks he is better and more superior then everyone else. Except one person. Laine Phillips. The one girl he was too afraid to talk to.
The two were thrown together so late in his high school career he begins to rethink the path that he paved for himself and his future.

I thought this young adult book was too cute! Not only do we get to read a modern day Cinderella story we get to read it as a boy being Cinderella. It was cute, witty, charming and romantic. All great things for a YA story. The only negative I could say about it, it wasn’t long enough. I think a lot more could have been done with the story. Although I am sure many think it was great just the way it was.

I received a copy via the author to review.

This was a rather surprising read. It was multi layered and mature for a YA novel. It wonderful to find an author who treats YA the way it should be. Because by senior year lets be real here most people lose their virginity, drink, drugs, etc you name it and most have done it. So props for writing a real story. The characters were relatable, I mostly related to Geoff since I've always been a bit of a negative nancy, smart ass, and all around pain to be friends with. So for me I related and loved his character, a few times I even felt myself going "this feels like the boy version of me and this is going to end horrible". So a bit of a nail biter. You just know right off the bat shit is going to hit the fan somewhere in this story, but the author gives you this awesome edge of your seat ride where I just lost track of time and breezed through this wonderful story. It's a nice HEA, standalone and all around must read.

Think back to your Senior Year, did you enjoy it or were you one of those kids who couldn't wait to graduate and be out of there and found your last year to be so boring ? I was the latter , I found my 7th form year really boring and ended up leaving and going into full-time work at the end of the year, as I was soooo bored. Prince Charming aka Geoff is one of those kids who can't wait to get out of high school and head off to college and also get away from his step-dad and step-brothers. In Prince Charming we learn that Geoff has had a long-time crush on Laine Phillips - the Miss. Perfect of the school. However, it seems that life for Laine isn't all that it is cracked up to be and that deep down she may need rescuing from a "Prince Charming" ? A quick and easy teen read with a dash of edginess. Prince Charming is the perfect quick read for teens aged 16-18yrs.

I thought this book was something else, but I was wrong. The book was okay I didn't really love it but I also didn't hate it. Laine I liked her and her ballsy nature, "I'm ranked fifteenth in the class," she mumbled, as she stood up and zipped her bag. "Of course, that's nothing compared to being ranked second. So I can understand you might think I was kinda dumb." Geoff he had his good moments, his dumb moments, moments I wanted to punch him and then there were some of his thoughts that I really enjoyed, "I stuttered. Jesus Christ. I was sounding like some kind of idiot. I might as well drool over her and then start masturbating. Eff me." As I said the book was okay it, I didn't love it or hate it, it was in between.

Seems like an adorable book and I love male POV's

School. Tests. Scholarships. Goals.

Senior class overachiever Geoff Miller thought he had it all figured out. All he needed to do was make it through the next six months, graduate, and get on with his life.

College at the University of Virginia beckoned him-- and he just wanted to put the last horrible four years at Heritage High School in the "done" folder.

Geoff just didn't count on two things: Laine Phillips, and sex.

At first, his passing crush on the school princess seemed to Geoff like a distraction from a boring life in a snobby Greater Cincinnati suburb. Then one day, it turned into something more...

Six months. Not that long, right?

What can I say? When I saw that adorable cover, I had to buy the book. HAD TO. The fact that the entire romance was written from a male POV was...intriguing, invoking, refreshing. The male protagonist was adorable, likable (heck, he was loveable!), and memorable. The storyline is both interesting and well-written. In fact, the writing was pleasant and addicting in such a way that the intimate scenes and sexual content really were unnecessary. In fact, this could be a pretty good story for younger audience if that were omitted. Sara Celi is a wonderful writer and I will probably be reading more from this author. 4.5 stars; would give it that last half point if the female lead were a little more fleshed out; I'd love to get to know her better. ;)

Loved the book. Its a good story and its refreshing to read something like this. I haven't ever read anything as cute as this. The Hero is absolutely adorable and our heroine is just as amicable.

Story line, plot and twist, characters... everything including the writing is spot on. This reads really well and is easy to read. Its also told from a male POV the ENTIRE TIME! And its written from that view flawlessly! Couldn't have asked for a better book. I look forward to reading more from this Author in the future (chop chop Celi, yeah?)

The cover model is just gorgeous and very much Prince Charming looking!
