Prince Charming is a fun, short, easy flowing story about Geoff Miller, the school second smartest senior who's not very well liked by most of his classmates. He often acts superior and he's made it abundantely clear that he can't wait for high school to be over so he can get out of his hometown. The only thing he does love about that school is Laine, the school's hottest and most popular girl. So, when she starts hanging out with him and they sort of become "more than friends", mayb

This is a great NA book but not the same old story. I loved that. I also loved that it was told all from the guys POV. The main character (Geoff) will have you laughing and rooting for him the entire time! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

I received this book for a honest review and as a part of the tour! Thanks! Original post on

I wanted to read this book because I like the cover, I like the idea of a guy as a main character. It's not something that you see usually in the YA world, so I decided to try.

It was a nice read, a easy, light one; this is the kind of book that you read when you want something fun or romantic, or if you like young adult. It's a simple, short novel about the high school li

This was a cute and eye opening story of a boy that not even an average teenager. He's smart and has his goal set in life. Basically is a nerd. I felt a bit sorry for him and hated the way he felt that he was a nobody. He only surrounded himself with a few friends. He had a major crush on Laine "one of the popular girls" Studying in the school library one day Laine sits with him and he's shocked to learnt hat she knows of him. It's a great eye open

This is my first S. Celi book and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to read her. The synopsis is what drew me in, not the title or cover, but a story about a boy who longed for more.

Prince Charming is empowering, sweet, sensual and funny. I absolutely loved the character of Geoff and how he evolved chapter after chapter. He is the true epitome of Prince Charming. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next.

Prince Charming is everything the title says.

An interesting romance that mixes elements of Cinderella with contemporary reality into a cute tale.

Geoff lives with two jealous half-brothers and a stepfather with whom he can not communicate. Here begins the similarity with the Cinderella myth.
This young man whose family life is not necessarily easy, see life throught strange glasses. He thinks that everybody is against him.

The more, the reader advance into the story, the more you see that the hero found himself in this situation be

Lovely Read
Needed something light and sweet and this was perfect. This was a princess and frog story, except that the frog was not actually a frog. It wasn't heavy in plot, and although sometimes it felt like not too much had happened, it had beautifully captured what YA was about. It briefly touched on topics like divorce, dunk driving, anger, abuse, stereotyping etc.

This was written from Geoff's POV. Another male POV story! We need more of those :). We got to see how smart guys think

I really enjoyed being in Geoff's head! This book is told completely in Geoff's POV, and I have to say it is very much what I would of thought to go through some teenage boys' minds! Geoff hasn't had it easy socially at Heritage High. Grades and tests? No problem. Mr. Popular? Ha. Nicknamed Geoff Megadeath you can imagine how people see him. But aside from that I was actually surprised at how geeky others found him because he didn't seem that way to me. Just a smart kid who was somewhat arrogan ...more

This book was so sweet and cute that I got a tooth ache reading it. This story is told in Geoff's POV which is a nice change. There are a few twist and turns in this book to keep you guessing on the outcome. All in all it is a great YA story.

This book wasn't what I expected, and not in a good way. Let's break down this synopsis.

I am the biggest fan of S. Celi, she is just such a wonderful and loving person and a magician when it comes to writing fabulous stories. Prince Charming is not an exception and when I was offered to join in this blog tour, there was no way I was going to turn it down. Ms Celi’s writing style is just amazing to say the least, her characters are fun and loving and Prince Charming is of course from a male perspective, I just loved it.

When I first started Prince Charming by S. Celi, I got the impression this was a modern day twist on Cinderella.  Very modern.  Our Cinderella was a guy, Geoff.  An 18yr old senior with two wicked step brothers, an indifferent, maybe harsh step father, and a loving doting mother trying to make everyone happy.  But this story was so much more than Cinderella.  This was a real coming of age book.  Hmmm...maybe I should say a coming of man, because in the span of 6 mos. we get to watch Geoff go fro

I’m a big fan of Young Adult books. So when I was asked to read an ARC of this and review it I was thrilled. I’ve read another YA book from Sara Celi and loved it!

This book is a story about Geoff Miller. Geoff is just an average guy. Okay, maybe he’s a nerd. He’s ranked second in his class and his only goal right now is to graduate high school, earn as many college credits as he can in his senior classes that he’s picked and to get out of Robert Hills. He wants to get as far away from it as he c

I Was Charmed

Geoff is a nice guy. He’s smart, has good friends, gets good grades, stays out of trouble and loves his Mom. He also has a stepfather who is oblivious to him and his 2 stepbrothers hate his guts. Oh wait! One more thing – Geoff is in love with the most popular girl in school – who happens to be the school football hero’s girlfriend.

In life, very often things are not as they appear to be. Maybe the “perfect” girl is not so perfect. Maybe the football hero is a jerk. Maybe your stepbr

I was gifted a copy of Prince Charming from the author for an honest review.

Prince Charming is a sweet romantic read about a boy named Geoff. Who is in his senior year of high school and desperate to graduate so he can flee his home town. Geoff who is ranking 2nd highest graduate in the school, has no problem getting straight A's. But getting the school "princess" to notice him is another matter. He has been in love with Laine since he can remember but being considered the school geek from the s

It's a good story of coming into yourself! Geoff <--strange name by the way! He was your typical teenage boy who thought he had everything figured out and everyone hated him. When it reality he didn't have anything figured out and everyone actually like him, he was just too blind to see it! I related to him, in a way I was the same back in H.S. and didn't really come to my senses till senior year!

He's had a crunch on the 'it' girl for years! But she's his unattainable, but by some strange way sh

The best thing about Prince Charming is the male protagonist, Geoff. The author hits high marks in making Geoff such a loveable guy who enjoys excelling at school even though he doesn't know where he fits in at school or at home. Geoff is in between social groups. He's not popular, but not considered a loser. His mother remarried her high school sweetheart after his father died and he lives with his cold step-father and two meat head athlete meat head step-brothers.

This was a cute story. I believe it should be geared toward the young adult that likes romance stories. It centers on Geoff he is a senior in high school in the academic program. His father died a few years ago and his mother just remarried a man with twin boys, Bruce and Blake, who are also seniors at the same school. The twins go with the flow and fit in with the in crowd and Geoff gets teased and picked on alot at school. Geoff has always loved a cheerleader, Laine, but she has always been wi ...more

This book was a great surprise for me, I just loved that it is written from the guy’s point of view. Geoff Miller is not the typical charming guy, the one that everyone wants to be with, but instead the guy that likes to study, have good grades, behave, takes care of his mother and knows his place in school.

He had a huge crush with one of the most desirable girl in school Laine Phillips for years, for Geoff she seems to be unattainable; she is with that guy everyone in school wants to be with,

I was given an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. This was the second book that I have read by the author and her writing just keeps getting better and better. Prince Charming was such a fun read. It charmed me to no end. This book brings back so many high school memories- both good and bad, some funny and some cringe worthy. I absolutely fell 100% in love with Geoff, who wants nothing more than to graduate high school and escape from his father and step brothers. G ...more

I wanted to read Prince Charming simply based on the title, because what girl doesn’t want to read a fairy tale? Prince Charming was a modern day Cinderella story but told from the POV of a male character. Geoff was in his senior year of high school. Second smartest kid in his class, and completely friendless. Geoff is a snobby rich kid who thinks he is better and more superior then everyone else. Except one person. Laine Phillips. The one girl he was too afraid to talk to.
I received a copy via the author to review.

This was a rather surprising read. It was multi layered and mature for a YA novel. It wonderful to find an author who treats YA the way it should be. Because by senior year lets be real here most people lose their virginity, drink, drugs, etc you name it and most have done it. So props for writing a real story. The characters were relatable, I mostly related to Geoff since I've always been a bit of a negative nancy, smart ass, and all around pain to be

Think back to your Senior Year, did you enjoy it or were you one of those kids who couldn't wait to graduate and be out of there and found your last year to be so boring ? I was the latter , I found my 7th form year really boring and ended up leaving and going into full-time work at the end of the year, as I was soooo bored. Prince Charming aka Geoff is one of those kids who can't wait to get out of high school and head off to college and also get away from his step-dad and step-brothers. In Pri ...more

I thought this book was something else, but I was wrong. The book was okay I didn't really love it but I also didn't hate it. Laine I liked her and her ballsy nature, "I'm ranked fifteenth in the class," she mumbled, as she stood up and zipped her bag. "Of course, that's nothing compared to being ranked second. So I can understand you might think I was kinda dumb." Geoff he had his good moments, his dumb moments, moments I wanted to punch him and then there were some of his thoughts that I reall ...more
