The book was a mixed bag. Some of the chapters- particularly the one on identity management- were incredibly dry.
The section on penetration testing, to the contrary, was quite a nice read (the author being that of another book that I enjoyed).
I wouldn't suggest this to just anybody, but if you're interested in the fundamentals of security, then you might want to give this a read.
