5 Heartwarming Stars

I just love a story that is set around the holidays. They always seem to warm my heart and this Novella from Tiffany King is no different. I was excited to be able to read an ARC of this story. Even more excited that it is an addition to Tiffany's Woodfalls Series and set with a christmas background. I know I probably say this a lot, but Tiffany King can do NO wrong when it comes to her writing. I have love

3 stars - A great "awww" read sure to put you in the holiday spirit!

Cross Country Christmas is one of those fun holiday reads that you can read in one sitting and thoroughly enjoy the snow falling on someone else. Hehe. Poor Jamie, she has way more than her fair share of bad luck and while I could see where it was all headed, I so enjoyed watching it. She runs into her high school crush on a plane headed for home and the holiday's. Things fall apart from there. But maybe that's for the best. I r

Probably a 4.5 stars (I read Sawyer Bennett's contribution to The 12 NA's of Christmas just before this one and I liked her's just a tad more than this one so I didn't round up. But, make no mistake this also was a wonderful, short read.)

Two people are on the same plane to return to their small hometown for Christmas. Turns out they knew each other in high school. In fact, he broke her heart when he started dating her friend when she had been silently longing for him for years. One of the big re

Living in the South sometimes makes getting into the holiday spirit rather difficult. Having grown up and spending Christmases up North, it was the colder weather and snow that really got me in the holiday mood. My family has stayed at home for the last several Christmases, choosing to travel up North in the summer when it's warmer, so the 50-60 degree weather that we tend to get, just doesn't get me in the holiday spirit. When I saw that authors were putting out a 12 NA's of Christm

I've just finished my first book for HoHoHo Read-thon and I picked a lovely feel good one to start with. Cross Country Christmas is warm and cosy and the cheerful Christmas vibes are just tumbling off the pages.

My Recap :

Jamie is travelling home to her small town for Christmas. However due to a plane mishap, she ends up travelling by car with her old school mate Grant instead. Which is more than awkward as Grant was her teenage crush and it doesn’t look like her feelings have dimini

Dear God I love Grant

You know the only problem with novellas is that they ALWAYS leave me wanting more, especially where gorgeous Grant is concerned.

I spent ages at the start of this story trying to place Jamie from No Attachments, it frustrated me that I couldn’t really remember her but then I decided it really didn’t matter as this was a completely different story :) Jamie is an utter romantic, she has unrealistic expectations of Mr Right and fails to see what’s been under her nose for most of

*Note - This is a review of an ARC of this novella.

It’s been a little while since I’ve read a book by Tiffany King, but as I usually end up saying, this one didn’t disappoint. What we get here is a cute novella with some great characters and a little romance. It was a great short read, and perfect for those looking for a light holiday themed read.

One of the great things about this novella was that while it’s part of the Woodfalls Girls series, No Attachments (the first release in the series) doe

Yes, it’s not Christmas yet, but what better way to get in the spirit with a new release by Tiffany King? Cross Country Christmas is a quick, easy flowing, heartfelt, and comical book that had me cheesing, giggling like a school girl, hot and bothered, and created a new Christmas fairytale!

This isn’t your Hallmark Christmas movie! It’s beyond that in my opinion. When Jamie has to go home because it’s her mothers wishes, she never expects to see her high school crush on the same plane. He shatter

I absolutely adore stories set during the Christmas holidays and this book is no exception. This is a fun and sweet read. I loved every minute of it and Tiffany King is definitely an author I will be reading in the future.

Jamie Foster is dreading going back home for the holidays. A broken heart had her packing her bags and never looking back. A problem with her airplane leaves her stranded at the airport where she meets Grant Johnson, the boy she grew up with, who is no longer a boy. Grant is re

I am a sucker for a good Christmas story particularly ones that involve romance. This novella fits that bill perfectly.

You have Jamie and Grant who are both trying to make it home to Woodfalls for Christmas with their families.Grant was Jamie's childhood crush but years of relentless teasing and a romance with her friend left her with a bitter taste in her mouth. She fled her hometown when she finished high school, visiting only oc

As a fan of No Attachments (The 1st of the Woodfalls Girls series), I was thrilled to see another book in the series was coming! I'm not only a fan of Small Town, USA kind of books, but throw Christmas into the mix and I'm one happy camper!! I actually started the fireplace, lit a Christmas candle, and made peppermint hot chocolate when I sat down to read this. It was the third week of October. Don't judge me.
But back to the book. This is such a cute, fun, and hilarious novella!! Jamie is my gir

Cross Country Christmas is a Cute and Fun Novella about Jamie & Grant. {They are characters from the Woodfalls Girls series.} Jamie is a Hard working & Driven woman who is so attached to her Technology gadgets almost to the point where it kind of seems crazy. Jamie left home after college graduation to escape a broken heart but there was also the perk of seeing the world and finding herself along the way. Grant is the Gorgeous guy she went to High school with back home, the guy who made her hear ...more

The holidays are knocking on the door and Jamie Foster is going to Woodfalls to spend them with the family.

In the airport she was struggling with her suitcase when a stranger helped her. When she turned to see the stranger, she was stuck in the moment. He wasn´t the stranger. He was Grant.

Grant Johnson, a guy she knew since they were kids. He was her first crush. But she didn´t know him. He was a stranger to her in high school. Didn´t pay attention to her. And now he was catching the same flight

This was such a fantastic, fun read.

I'm not a huge fan of short stories and novellas, but King delivers a read that is so full of life that it felt like I'd read a full length novel. I do wish there was no end to this story though. I'd love to read more about Jamie and Grant, they were just such a fun, adorable set of characters. They made the perfect couple.

Anything and everything that could go wrong for these two great people, did. It was brilliantly entertaining and had me laughing out loud

So I had thought I'd read all of the books from the 12 NA's of Christmas but then I saw this on my kindle. I was pretty wary because after having read the other ones I realized these stories weren't really my thing. I went into this one with trepidation. Luckily it was the best of all of them. Sure there was still overly described sex scenes that I would have preferred to be less of a major feature. But at least the characters had a back story. I didn't love the female MC because she took hersel ...more

What a wonderful and charming Christmas novella! Short, sweet, cute and heartfelt. How can I not love this. Perfect for this time of year, feel good and holiday feels. Plus I love the childhood friends, teasing, reconnecting startling. It felt realistic and it works the chemistry is definitely spicy.

Tiffany King never fails to amaze me and Cross Country Christmas is no different. I am one of those types of people who refuses to deal with Christmas until after Thanksgiving but I made sure that I read this. I started and finished in one night…short read but amazing! I am such a sucker for holiday books and I am so happy that I started off this year’s holiday season with Cross Country Christmas! It is such a sweet novella and has gotten me in the Christmas mood! King writes a complete story that made me almost forget that it was a novella which is quite a feat! If you are looking for a romantic comedy that will begin to put you in the holiday spirit then pick up Cross Country Christmas!

Loved this story. My only complaint is I wish it wasn't a novella and it was a whole book!! I want to read more! What happens to these two once they leave the inn? I NEED to know. I loved their story though, and loved how good the character and plot development were and how easily the relationship was to understand and connect with even though it was a novella. Another great read from Tiffany King. I can't wait for the next Woodfall Girls book. I loved No Attachments so much and now this. I can' ...more

I loved Cross Country Christmas. I love the relationship between Jamie and Grant how it changes through the book. A lovely short Christmas story it reminded me of a classic Christmas movie like National Lampoons Christmas when NOTHING GOES RIGHT.
I will definitely be reading more from Tiffany King in 2014.

A nice romantic Christmas read. Despite the hiccups of the journey our two main characters must make across country, hiccups which are many and variously scary and funny - it has all the elements of a fast and snug storyline told around a fireplace on Christmas Eve. Just the right kind of book for an easy and thoroughly enjoyable Christmas feel-good toddy.
