Very Insightful

I have a friend who committed suicide after dealing with schizophrenia for several years. He too begged his parents to let him kill himself & while I struggle with borderline personality disorder, I could never grasp what it was like to have voices constantly consume you. The author did a great job of explaining what their experience & not sugar coating the fact that recovery doesn't come easy. It's something that IS obtainable, but takes work every single day. Solid and short. The Kindle version has some errors in the printing. A little disjointed, and sometimes just touching the surface, but is one of the few books that fill the current gap in firsthand accounts of psychosis.
