I originally bought this book to use for warm-up activities in job search a d life skills workshops I was facilitating. It was great and the participants loved the questions. I now use it for prompts at a writers' group I belong to. It is amazing how the questions get the creative juices going and help create some great pieces of writing. There can be so many uses for this delightful book.
This book is a great thing to have at parties and campfires. The littany of "if" questions can keep you in conversation for hours. However, I feel that the author could have spent more time creating questions that were a little more unique. I also felt that the retail price was a bit expensive. Other than a few minor caveats, "If" can be an asset to any social setting. In addition, some of the questions can be adult in nature so it is probably not wise to put it in the hands of a child.
I really love this little gem. It asks all kinds of interesting and thought provoking questions like, if you could have dinner with one person living or dead, who would you choose? Most of the questions are deep. It is a wonderful book to use with friends. You can gain all kinds of insight about one another that you would never know otherwise. I highly recommend this book.
