Excellent story! 4.5 stars. This is why I love a good military-romance. Breaking Through was a very worthwhile read and a great way to spend my time lost in a satisfying story. TR has a great writing style and this was a wonderful addition to Breaking Free. Didn’t want to put this bk down, intriguing storyline, lots of action, really good drama and I love the characters. Happy to know that Hawk and Zoe’s story continues here. The depth of their relationship is heart melting as they struggle to d ...more

This book packs a punch. There are so many emotional moments I cried at a few of them.

This book is a continuation from the first book. Brett is now released from the hospital but still isn't cleared for duty. Zoe and Hawk are still very much in love but not rushing things even though Zoe is keeping a secret from him. Brett and Zoe's mom comes back and she runs into Brett's Dr from when he was in a coma, Russell and his son at the airport and sparks fly. All the old team is back except for Derri

When I read the first Book, Breaking Free, I totally fell in love the all the characters. I was so excited when I saw that the second Book, Breaking Through was out that I had to read it. Once I started reading Breaking Through, same thing happen as the first book, I couldn’t put it down. I was up very late reading, till I realized that I had re-read the same sentence 3 times and couldn’t remember what I had read!

I went to sleep thinking about this book and at 6 am, it was in my hands before I e

Breaking Through is the first of the SEAL Team Heartbreakers series that I have read. It works perfectly as a stand-alone book but I can't wait to go back and read the first one. The book is filled with inside information on the workings of a SEAL team, making the reader feel part of the action. Yet Ms Reasor manages to weave this information into the story so seamlessly that it never interferes with an interesting and complex plot. Beautifully written, a must read.

Follow up to Breaking Free, Breathing Through is another great suspense novel with strong, complex characters and well written romance. I like that the characters that I become attached to in Breaking Free are still important in this book. Teresa Reasor is now on my list of "must read" authors!

Cutter is still recovering from the injury he received in Iraq. Not only can he not remember what happen when he was injured, now NCIS wants to blame him for the disappearance, they assume murder, of the s

Ensign Brett Weaver has been in a coma for a month and when he wakes he finds out that he is being investigated for murder! How is he going to be able to prove his innocence? He really hates the idea of going to the press but when he meets Tess Kelly he decides to try and get the press on his side. But can he trust her with his other secrets?

Tess Kelly has been trying really hard to live up to her father’s expectations. And when she meets Brett Weaver she may just have the chance to impress her

This is another amazing work from Ms. Reasor. The 1st book of the series let you fall in love with the characters and the dynamic of the SEALs Team. In this book all the characters are back, and though Brett and Tess are the center of the story, and have great chemistry together, Ms Reasor let us see into Clara & Russell’s relation and we still see a lot of Hawk and Zoe.

This book concentrate quiet a bit on the politics of the NAVY and their chain of command, how this amazing group of SEALs w

I love this series. Military romance is not my usual genre but Reasor does a fantastic job of bringing you these Special Ops Navy SEALs into your heart. You can't help but to fall in love with them and appreciate the sacrifices they make for us every day. You have to admire the endurance and perseverance of the unit as they face the dangers and threats on the foreign soil as well on the home front. Be prepared for a tearfest... oh yes, I went through a lot of tissues... tears of sadness and tear ...more
I liked this one much better than the 1st one. There were several plots going on, but the author managed it so that there were little cliff hangers throughout the book which worked quite well for me. I found Brett as likable in this one as he was when a supporting player in Breaking Free. Also really liked Tess, how she was a little vulnerable but much more independent and less needy that Zoe. Zoe is in this one and has continued her maturing process, which I felt was a logical character develop ...more

Teresa Reasor writes military romance with heart. Her characters are real. They have problems and crushes, bad days and funny moments. I have read and enjoyed the first book in the series, Breaking Free, and it was so wonderful to revisit the characters I’d met and enjoyed in that book. Besides, delivering tension and emotion, Ms. Reasor also explores the dynamics and tangles of parent-and-child relationships throughout Breaking Through and this was a theme that truly resonated with me and made ...more

When I first started this book, I thought it was amazing the way the author took you back in time to the first book in the series. It's a completely different story with all your favorite characters and some great new ones, that complete the first book in the series. The Primary character in Book 2 is Brett, but Zoe & Hawk are still there with you.

I laughed and I cried with this moving story. It's full of action, love and intrique!

I can not wait for the next in the Heartbreakers series!

A great follow-up to Breaking Free. I loved seeing more of Zoe and Hawk. It was also great to see Brett get his HEA. I hope this series continues and the rest of the single guys on the team get their own story.

Breaking Through: Military Romantic Suspense: SEAL Team Heartbreakers Book 2 is by Teresa Reasor. This book is just as good as the first. You just think you know what will happen.
Brett “Cutter” Weaver has awakened from his coma but can’t remember before or during the mission. However, in his dreams, he remembers some things. He remembers Derrick Armstrong ”Strongman” arguing with him in the helicopter about Cutter’s getting in between Strongman and some kid. He remembers having words with Stron

Beautiful Story!!

This is the most beautiful love story written against the background of terrorism, war and betrayal. Hawk and Zoe, Russell and Clara, and Brett and Tess new love and mature love it hits us all the same. This book will make your heart and soul smile. Teresa Reason has the uncanny ability to write a kickass military love story that you will not put down. I read until late in the night to finish it and can't wait for the next in the series. You have to read this author. She writes

I actually liked this book more than the first one from the series. I loved Brett and how sensitive, yet manly he is. The main character, Tess, is a strong and independent character, and very likeable. What I enjoyed about this book is that it combined three stories in one. We revisited Hawk and Zoe, and they played a big role here, then Clara and Russell, and finally Brett and Tess. All in all a very good and highly recommended read.

Love this series it’s full of drama and intrigue and some sexy Alphas mixed in there too. This book continues on from the first book Altho it overlaps someof the storyline from the first book. Highly recommend this book and series

Breaking Through focuses on Brett’s situation as he recovers from his injuries and his search to uncover the truth about what happened to him on his last mission. I strongly recommend that you read Breaking Free first because Zoe and Hawk’s storyline continues to develop in this second installment. The brain injuries Brett has suffered have affected his memory and he decides to work with Tess, a young attractive journalist who is just starting out in her career and whose father, a legendary jour ...more

Excellent! Just excellent

I loved everything in this book. And Mrs Reasor did it again. An excellent job.
There is some reading proofing errors, but for my me it wasn't disturbing, just had the "ah they forget this one" comment popping in my head when I cross an error, but actually it helped me taking a second breath from the emotions, the pace, and my reading.
Because I couldn't put it down, again! Like the first, and the novella about Greenback and Selena (I read before the book 2, couldn't wait!

Book two in the SEAL Team Heartbreaker Series brings us full circle back into giving us a really good idea of why certain things happened in the first book that happened. We see what happened with Brett and why he was attacked. We see a terrorist come into play in San Diego, calling upon others to become brothers in arms. We see innocent women attacked and the angry men that love them. We watch as new love blossoms, between Brett and Tess, and Brett's mother Clara and his Doctor when he was in t ...more

Ok, I have to say this book hit to many buttons with me.
I unfortunately had not read book one but thought as is usual in romance series that it would be a stand alone story. Not! I felt like I had started in the middle of a book and not a clue what was going on. It took a large portion of the book figured out because the past storyline wasn't explained very well. I hate playing catch up with a book I have just started.
I also had trouble figuring out all the characters. So many names and coupl

The story of the SEAL TEAM continues here, and even though book one did not end with cliff-hanger, this book follows the first story and I wouldn't recommend to read it as a stand-alone.
I'm enthralled with this team, they brotherhood, extended family feel, respect and protectiveness of each other.
On Breaking Through we don't only get the suspense of the war and service in Iraq, but also terrorist attacks at home, political games that are played against the team, and family dysfunctions. Just ab

Okay, to be completely honest, this book had a lot of mistakes that sometimes took me out the story. It was also weird the way it jumped back in time, when the first one ended 6 months later. It all added up in the end though, so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal. I also would have liked it more if the ending hadn't been so rushed, and maybe gave us more of Brett and Tess. So why 4 stars? Because in spite of those flaws, Teresa J. Reasor created characters that I found myself caring for and w ...more

I was so lucky to have discovered this series and this author. This is the second book I’ve read in this SEALS series and it hasn’t wavered in the slightest. It’s as bold and brassy as the first book. Filled to the brim with excitement a wonderful facet of storylines, which never once demised. Each human element was carefully thought out and executed. At times, causing me to tense up with nerves or cry like a baby with sadness. I particularly liked the Russell, Clara and Evan story – so sad it w ...more

Breaking Through Is Amazing

Teresa Reasor does military romantic suspense the justice it deserves. She mixes romance, suspense, intrigue, drama and sexual tension into a must read, military suspense best seller. Her story lines piqued my interest, the expressive nature her writing portrayed allowed my imagination to place myself within the story, picture each character, witness their love, joy, care, concern, anger, fruition and by the end, their happiness. I look forward to reading more from thi

I don't mind giving new authors a try or two. However I had big issues with the time frame of the book. In one place, the author says something like he will see you in 2 days. A few pages later, it's 2 MONTHS later. Then another chapter over and it's back to the 2 day thing. Overall a decent story, but the author has not impressed me.
