This book seems to have very similar information included in Vimala McClure's Fabric Dyeing for Beginners, but the presentation isn't as clear. However, because the material is presented slightly differently, it will be a fine complement to McClure's book as I read more about fabric dyeing. I borrowed the copy I'm reading from the library.

Good information provided. It covers quite a few techniques giving short and to the point descriptions of the tools and process. Gallery images seem quite dated (definitely not modern quilting and sewing examples), was surprised the book was from 2002, not 1982. Nevertheless the dyeing and painting techniques are timeless.
