Thia is a short book with mostly short, clean jokes. I chuckled at a few of the jokes. A few really were clever and made me smile. I enjoyed most of the comments made by Mark Twain.
As for historical interest, I saw the origin of a few humorous sayings that I thought were anonymous folk wisdom. I even saw an instance of a Mythbusters' urban legend about a barrel of bricks and a pulley system.
I suspect that most of these jokes would be more effective if delivered audibly, rather than in print.
As a whole, I'd call the book "OK," hence the 2-star rating.

This was ok - I read this for ideas, quotes to use in my scrapbooks because I like quotes and especially humor, but honestly, I didn't find one worthwhile quote to keep.
The book was cheesy and didn't really hold my interest.
