Amazingly interesting - very dense with facts, lovers of names and dates will revel in this. He also makes clear how deceptions - perceptions and falsehood/lies have become accepted facts - accepted fundamentals of the current world, geographically, politically, and with how religion is expressed. Not all the bad guys were bad or all bad and many of the good guys were power hungry beasts. Some of the great so called schisms were simply small time power plays - we can't go back in time. To see how what we have been lead to believe is not how it really is or was. But There is no answer to that - Each day we must get on with it and who has the wherewithal to correct global historical perceptions
