I really, really loved the book. The ups and downs created in Lindsey's life were described so well that I could literally imagine each and every detail of the book. I like that the book describes all the problems Lindsey faces just because her dad is a lawyer and all the problems in her life that make her miserable. It also shows how Lindsey deals with all of them. The insight on her life and her love is also very

Awesome!! Loved it!!

I received this book from the author free of charge in exchange for an honest review. I would like to thank Kimberly Kolb for the opportunity to read and review her book.

Wow, this book was amazingly written and drew me in right from the beginning. It was so full of suspense, drama, and romance. I could not put it down. I found myself thinking about it and wanting to go back to it when I was busy and couldn’t read it.

Lindsey is a quiet, sweet, well lik

This was a nice story, but half of it the book could be deleted. Too much inner dialogue. It needs a good editor just to go through the book and delete some of the repeated info. Also, I do not need to know the heroine's each and every thought. The heroine, Lindsey, was insecure, but I on one hand could understand some of it. She was 15 years old and really had very little attention given to her at school. However, towards the end of the book, I thought her insecurity got a little ridiculous and ...more

Lindsey is a quiet, high school student who does gymnastics and also involved in the school plays. Chris is a guy that she has had a crush on for a long time, and then he starts noticing her. Everything seems to be going so great. Then she starts getting some very strange and creepy texts from different phone numbers that she can’t reply to. When these disturbing incidents start happening, she didn’t realize it might be related to a new case that her dad is working on. Lindsey dad is a well-know ...more

I received a free copy from this author in exchange for an honest review. I would like to thank the author to give me chance to read and review this book. I liked this book. I liked the characters. It was a really good mystery and romance novel. Chris and Lindsey were adorable together. I really liked the twist of mystery in it. In the starting it was all about how Lindsey was stuck between two guys who wanted her and then the mystery begins as she starts receiving threats. I enjoyed this book a ...more

Couldn't put it down! Kimberly Kolb's first novel immediately brought me back to high school (Carnation Day - ugh). I love the unsure girl growing up and doing it with grace. The suspense builds as you read on which keeps me wanting to read the next chapter instead of what I "should" be doing. I'm in my 50s & thoroughly enjoyed this fast page-turning book. I wanted to check it out before passing it along to my daughter. I'm sure she'll love it as well.

Really loved a simple YA story about real characters with a solid plot and some twists along the way. Please write more!

Great YA with inspirational message and no vampires or werewolves, etc. Very suspenseful and both adult and teens in my house liked this book.

I read this book feeling understanding and empathy with Lindsey although she did make me feel frustrated at times with her inability to allow herself to believe in herself and realise her own worth. She was a strange mixture with her complete dedication and competence in her schoolwork and gymnastics and her uncertainty in her social life.

She obviously loved her parents but felt she couldn’t confide in them when she started to get the strange texts. I would have liked to know a bit more about h

I really liked the character development with the people in this story. However, I also found that the dialogue was so wordy. It seemed like more was being said than necessary.

I found Lindsey's character to be hot and cold. On the one hand she had her priorities in order, in terms of her gymnast career and life as a high school student. On the other end of the spectrum, she seemed extra hungry for male attention! Her crush Chris, her admirer Jon, and many of her other high school acquaintances.
