It's a bit dated but a fun read. This book includes just a little taste of each topic on the south, first of history. What the Blue Gray Conflict is called; "The War Between the States, The War of the Rebellion, The War for Southern Independence, The War of Secession, The War, The Lost Cause, The Late Unpleasantness, The Recent Altercation." What not to call the War; "There is no better way to validate your citizenship (or your upbringing) than to avoid the erroneous term 'Civil War' when referring to the War.
Oh, it may make your Yankee sensibilities cringe.

Other topics covered; manners and deportment, Dixie claims to fame, primer on social status, southern cooking, religion, sports, travel guide, tips & festivals.

The author is bless your heart snob & steel back bone and tongue-in-cheek, all at the same time.

Really cute illustrations.
