This was a very fast-paced story with a sweet romance and a perfect ending. :) 4.5 Stars.
Cammie's history is complicated and she quickly learns it was a total lie. She meets Simon, who has been appointed as her father's hired bodyguard. He saves her ass and gives her the truths, whether she wants to hear them or not.
Simon didn't strike me right away as being the man of her dreams, but I grew to like him. The romance was sweet, in that Cammie would take off whenever Simon would turn on the heat. I really wanted her to accept his advances sooner and I would have appreciated more descriptive intimate moments. I felt like I wasn't allowed in their bedroom, but that's how the author wanted it. I still enjoyed the chase and, by the end of the story, Simon had me swooning.
The pair of them seemed to have fun getting into trouble, though my first impression of Cammie was that she was a little on the prissy side. Before long, I realized that she wasn't afraid to get a little dirty... especially when it involved Simon.
I'm very curious to know what adventures Ms. Newton will send Cammie and Simon on in the next installment of this series.

A good debut novel. The sweet possibility of romance between Cammie and Simon keeps you going until the end, as do the different adventures throughout the book.

Christy Newton nails her first book! It has intrigue, suspense, mystery, fast paced action, love, deceit, acceptance and more!
Cammie and Simon are wonderful together. Their personalities are perfect for each other. It is true never judge a book by its cover.. that is what Simon did at first when meeting Cammie, but boy was he wrong! As did Cammie think the same.. boy was Simon more than meets the eye!(her eye anyways.. ;) :) wink wink)
Cammie finds out that Simon is a wonderful person and even gets to see him at his funny moments and even in "action" saving them from others... It is always wonderful to see when the man changes or wants to change all for a woman! I loved that Simon is that type of man! ;)
But can a person who used to be a jewel thief be a bodyguard to protect you? Can you trust what this man has to say about things you think are gone and never coming back etc?
This is a story based on theft, but gets you to focus more on the lives the characters lead, their past, their ability to love, let go and let others in.
I truly loved this action paced book and look forward to the next book in this series so much!

Christy Newton is a new author to me and this first book certainly didn't disappoint.
This book was extremely well edited, which is nice to see that the author has taken time to get that spot on.
Simon and Cammie are both strong characters and very likeable. The story flows nicely throughout the book with a few twists and turns along the way. If you like to read about jewel heists with a bit of romance thrown in, that isn't explicit or smutty, then this is the book for you.
The ending left me definitely wanting to read book two. It wasn't a cliffhanger as such, but there was an unresolved issue that will be continued.

I absolutely love Cammie and Simon. I won't give away too many details, but I will say that I love the interactions between the two main characters. The story flows well and it kept me interested from the first page to the last page. It has just the right amount of romance, suspense and witty dialogue to keep you captivated. Cammie and Simon stole my heart and I can't wait to read book two in this series.

Christy Newton's Stolen Hearts is a fun adventure with jewel heists and romance between a girl and the mysterious man who comes into her life. This first-time novelist has written a story that is entertaining and imaginative. I look forward to her future books.

The best word to describe Stolen Hearts, the first book in the 'More Than Treasure' Series by Christy Newton is 'cute'! This would be the ideal book to get comfortable with on a snowy, cold-winters' evening with the fireplace roaring, sipping hot cocoa (or wine if that's your preference) and lounging in a recliner in your favourite flannel pajamas. Aside from the occasional twist of suspense and drama, this novel is a nice, easy, light read.
Simon Fisher and Cammie Adams each bring with them a different kind of history. Simon has lived a life that's not exactly on the straight-and-narrow and has agreed to do a favour for his mentor/partner, Max Adams. Which is to help him protect his daughter Cammie, who does not even know that her father did not perish all those years ago. Cammie on the other hand has come to realize that her entire existence has been a lie and that perhaps it's time to go after what she really wants in life. One being her newly hired sexy bodyguard Simon, and the other a not-so-lawful heist she plans to execute with Simon.
Just when things seem to be settling down in the Adams/Fisher home, Christy Newton adds an unexpected twist and you come to realize that this new journey that they are all about to embark on may not be so different from life that Max and Simon lived before. Only this time it's on the right side of the law.

Cammie Adams still grieves the loss of her parents when she was young. Having her parents die while on an airplane makes it difficult for Cammie to fly. She just got her Private Investiagtors license and is ready to take on her first case when someone breaks into her home and her life is turned upside-down.
Enter Simon Fisher. Simon was hired by Cammie's father to protect her from those who want something that her father has hidden. As soon as they meet, they are drawn to each other, but try to chalk up that attraction to mere situational circumstances.
I really wish I could give you more details than that but there are too many things that would be spoilers for the remaining events in the story! Family secrets are exposed. Past lives and transgressions threaten newly formed and rekindled relationships. Can Cammie and Simon overcome their pasts and doubts to continue their relationship? Can Cammie forgive her father for the things he has done?
Stolen Hearts is a book that has a little bit of everything in it. It has romance, suspense, mystery, and family drama. It was a sweet read that I really enjoyed. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book. I would have liked a tiny bit more at the end, but I was satisfied - and there are more books in the series.

Action, Intrigue & a Steamy Romance, This book has a little bit of all of it, the story was fast paced and developed well. Cammie was a smart, funny and headstrong heroine, I loved that while she had some insecurities she wasn't one to lay back and let them get the best of her. Simon was tall, dark and HOT!! I loved that he not once faltered in his devotion to Cammie and while he wanted to protect her, he didn't go all crazy control freak or stop her from doing what she felt she needed to do but instead stood by her and helped her.
The romance between Cammie and Simon was slow, it built from a necessary trust, to a friendship and then ultimately love with a natural progression. The mystery behind Cammie's family and the action packed in from that kept the story moving and had me unable to stop turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. I loved all of the side characters and the bond that Cammie had with her friends who had become her family.
If you're looking for a great, swoony romance with some mystery and action then this is a book I highly recommend and I am very much looking forward to reading the next book and seeing what the future will bring for Cammie, Simon and their friends and family.

Stolen Hearts is the first book in the More Than Treasure series by Christy Newton. Cammie was lost after the death of her parents. Then she gets robbed and kidnapped. I am amazed at how calm Cammie is about being robbed and kidnapped. Also finding out her Dad was still alive I would have been pissed. It makes me wonder if she had some inkling that she never wanted to acknowledge or face?
Simon Fisher is a jewel thief turned bodyguard. Simon’s career choice seems a bit odd going from a thief to a bodyguard. Cammie’s father hires him to protect her. Simon is a hot and sexy man. Both seem to fall for other almost immediately.
The chemistry between Cammie and Simon is blistering hot. The sex senses were scorching. I loved that they were not a detailed as in some books. I loved that Simon did not want to protect Cammie from his life but let her see what he does and how he does it.
I found this book to be well written. The main and secondary characters were realistic. Overall, this was a great book. I had a hard time putting it down. I read this book in one sitting. This book keeps you on your toes all the way through from the first page to the last. I can’t wait to read the next book it the series.

This was such a sweet and romantic story. I loved every minute of it. Everyone loves a story that goes just like it should and this one was that way. It was filled with lots of love, romance, as well as a lot of suspense. You are always second guessing and trying to figure out what’s going to happen next.
Cammie was such a sweet and innocent girl. I loved that throughout the book she learns to grow in so many ways. She finds herself loving someone and wanting to be everything that person needs. She also learns to forgive and move forward past all of the horrible things her life has endured. I absolutely adored her strength and that she grew to become more of her own person and wasn’t afraid of things like she once was.
Simon was a great character. A sweet and charming man even though he did things he probably shouldn’t have. But I love that once he saves Cammie he grows to love her and want to be a better man. Give up his past to be what she needs for the future.

I have to start by saying I'm not a big fan of the romance genre in general. I feel as if most of them focus on those cheesy intimate scenes; describing her perfect skin and tiny waist, his Adonis-like body- the story around these parts of the book merely staging and filler for the next steamy romp on the edge of a cliff at sunset with wind blowing through their fabulous hair. That out of the way-

Cammie and Simon aren't just two beautiful people caught up in the throes of passion; they have depth, intellect, an intriguing past and are very well written. I found myself wanting to know more about them and wondering if there was a sequel in their future.
If I had to mention a flaw it would be the book's editor.
Overall fun story, characters you can relate to and a happy ending. What more could you want from a June romance? :)

I have always been a fan of the romance genre. There is nothing better than sitting down, opening the cover of my new romance novel, getting lost in the fantasy of the perfect man sweeping me off my feet; taking me to a land where everything is unicorns and rainbows.....
And Christy did not deny me!! Whereas most romance novels are more centered around how great in bed he is or how wonderful he looks without his shirt on, Christy made the characters real for me. They had real emotions, real flaws, real problems. But underneath all of that, was real love all wrapped up in a fast-paced, adventure-packed, mind blowing romance novel!
Who doesn't love a story about cops and robbers? There is something so unique about how simple the story line was. There wasn't so much going on that you couldn't even keep up with the characters' baggage. I do feel there could have been more detail put into the surroundings as it was happening, but other than that, this book was fantastic!!

This is not my first book by this author. Once again, no disappointment. A great entertaining read. The book description was accurate and did a good job explaining what could be expected from this book. I thought the storyline was unique and enjoyable. It kept my attention and read smoothly. I was also intrigued by the sub storylines within the main plot. There was finding love, letting go emotions, learning to love again, anger, heartbreak, learning to love after lost, etc.... so many that helped make this story a success for me. I didn't want to put it down once I picked it up. The characters were likable easily to attach yourself. Each one providing something different and vital to the story. Lots of descriptive words used to help and support. You could see or feel what you were reading. I LOVE THAT !!!! Editing was well done. I definitely suggest reading.

A lovely debut from Christy Newton full of sweet romance,suspense and thrills.
Cammie is a great character full of youth and zest for life despite the knocks it has dealt her. Simon is a likeable,complex character and the perfect foil for Cammie's naivety.
The author has a distinct voice which is showcased well by the romantic suspense genre.
I enjoyed the plot and pacing of the story and the intriguing twists. Looking forward to 'Something to Treasure' the continuation of Cammie and Simon's adventures.
Overall an enjoyable read.

A 4.5 for me. I loved this fast paced thrilling chase with a diamond thief for a hero. The first half of the book flew by in a single sitting. Cammie Adams, an orphan, is robbed and abducted in the same day. When rescued by jewel thief Simon Fisher, Cammie learns her parents faked their death years earlier and why her twenty-second birthday placed her in a den of thieves. Cammie has a terrific story arc and Simon is swoon-worthy.
This book evokes a glamorous fantasy world in the best possible way, reminding me of both To Catch a Thief and the globe trotting romance of Hart to Hart. I'm glad this book is the first in a series, because it promises to be lots of fun.

The was my second book I have read of Christy Newton's and she never disappoints. Stolen Hearts was an amazing read full of mystery, romance & secrets. Amazing twists & turns in the plot. The places that the characters went to in this book were nicely descriptive & interesting so much was put in this book from start to finish it will leave you wanting more page by page. Very had to put down book well written and keeps your interest from the first chapter. The characters were all amazing you will fall in love with them all. I can't wait for the next book the squeal too see how the relationships all turned out. Incredible read.

Imagine having your whole life turning somersaults and everything you believed was true turned out to be a lie....well that's what happened in this book.
Cammie found out her father was still alive and not only that but that her parents were in fact jewel thieves!
Simon and Cammie were very likeable people and I wanted them to get it together.
There was nothing offensive in this book so it is suitable for all ages to read. It's not often that one of my kids can read a book I've read!!
I enjoyed reading this story and it has caught my interest enough for me to want to know what happens in follow up books.

Cammie (new PI) and Simon (jewel thief) are thrown together by very unconventional means. She soon discovers that everything she thought she knew about her past was a lie. This fast-paced book has a little bit of everything in it, suspense, sweet romance, mystery, and adventure. I enjoyed this book by new author, Christy Newton, and look forward to reading more by her. The book (and series) is worth a read if you like a sweet romance and quick read, however, the editing, by Liana Markel, is not the best.

Stolen Hearts has twists and turns I didn't expect, and is recommended for those who like a little adventure with their romance.

Cammie and Simon are a great couple. This book keeps you wanting more from the first page to the last.
Cammie dealing with the loss of her parents 7 years ago and coldness from her aunt Eve. She gets her P.I. license but then is kidnapped. Simon comes in to rescue her and ends up being much more.
Filled with mystery, suspense and love. Great book will leave you wanting to read more about Cammie and Simon.

Stolen Hearts is a delightful read from cover to cover. Ms. Newton crafts an exiting tale of mystery, intrigue, humor, and romance taking the reader into the heart-pounding world of an International jewel thief. This novel is well-written and keeps the reader engaged all the way through. I look forward to Newton's next books.

I was hooked on the first page. By the end of the chapter I could not put it down. The book has everything, suspense, mystery, intrigue, a love affair. This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be my last. I can't wait to read the next one. Pick up a copy today, you will not be sorry.

I have read a lot of romance novels. When it comes down to it, the best ones grab your attention and keep it, but not only that, they paint an actual story of romance that is more than just sex. This story has the added bonus of several adventures! I could go for a little more detail on the adventures but it was a great read and I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more by Christy Newton!

Absolutely loved the story! Keeps you wanting more! Love that Cammie never knew she could feel again.. The loss of someone she loved even more. The suspense in the kidnapping! And the surprise of another love that she thought was gone forever! If you have read this book yet, you have to read it! You for sure will not be disappointed in anyway!

I love this book. I'm going to start book 2 tonight. This was very good read. I can't wait to see what kinda of trouble the get into. Thank Christy Newton for taking the time out of your life to bring something great to ours.
