I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It walks the line of many genres...I was intrigued, eager to turn the page and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Interesting combo of action, sci-fi, mystery, and even a hint of comedy and romance. The quick wit and humor made me giggle out loud more than once. And the cover art is just awesome. Way to go, Miss Ritner. Sequel coming I hope? ...more

This was a very entertaining story, sort of urban fantasy, sort of sci-fi. The author did a great job keeping the action rolling. My only problems with it were occasionally laughable dialogue (the author tried a little too hard to stick pop culture references into her story) and the ultra-overdone love triangle (the hip female protagonist needs to pick between two available, mysterious, and muscular hunks of man-meat). All in all, an enjoyable book, and what I hope is just the first installment ...more
