I am appalled by this book. At first it looked like an interesting and engaging take on what makes humans human. But with a closer read it is actually quite offensive. There is a whole two-page spread in which the author describes antiquated stereotypes of male and female behaviors, saying that you can have a "male brain" or a "female brain," outlining skills that he considers to be "female" or "male."
