I hope he chokes on me, because I’m not going down easy. Not after all that I’ve been through. I didn’t get lost in the jungle, jump out of a helicopter, mate an alien super-soldier dinosaur squad, and end up pregnant with a human-dynos baby…
Only to end up in the belly of their enemy.
Kroktl will find me. He swore he’d track me down anywhere. Back home to the States. Off this planet. Another galaxy. Even if he has to cut me out of a rival.
I just have to stay alive until my predator hunts me down.

The heroine:Natalie - she used to be a grad student in Archeology, but when she went on a dig to the Guatemalan jungle, she found alien dinosaur shifters, who were also genetically enhanced super-soldiers, and part cyborgs. They were a squad, and she is now mated to four members of that squad and pregnant with one of their babies as well.
The Heroes:Kroktl, Rizan, Lohr, Snryx - They are called Dynos and they each have special abilities that work together to form the perfect war machine. They can speak to each other and exchange data via a grid they are all connected to. Their main purpose now is to protect their mate.
The Story: At the end of the last book, the squad was attacked by another squad, that were created and sent for the sole purpose of killing them. Their former sqaud leader swallowed Natalie whole and now the guys must find her and save both her and the human/dynos baby she is carrying.
I actually really enjoyed the return of Axxol, the former alpha squad leader. He was a BGR+, which stands for Blue Gigantosaurus Raptor plus a bunch of top secret cybernetic enhancements that even his team didn’t know all of. So much happened in this book, and we finally got all the answers we had been waiting for since the first book. I won’t go into them all, but so much was revealed and there was a ton of action and some very steamy scenes as well. I hope that the author expands on this world more and does other books/series similar to this one. It was very good.
Wow what a great finale. I have been waiting and waiting for this book to come out. The release date got changed multiple times to push it further off, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.
I took one star off because A- it was not nearly long enough for my liking and I felt like a couple of things got kind of rushed to completion. B- There was a lot of terms added into this book that kind of ended up feeling like an info dump, which is super weird to have in book 3 of a trilogy.
Now, the things I loved about this book: We finally get to find out what happen to Axxol. Phew, one mystery solved.
We get to see the baby born, Yay. The squad finally comes together as more of a harem in their relationship, which I found really well done.
I was trying to figure out how Axxol could ever been included into the squad and their relationship with her, because after the beginning of the book and his continued assholery I was pretty much hating him. Feelings that were shared by Natalie and most of the other guys as well, so as the book ticked away I had no idea how the author was going to fix that until bam, suddenly it was all fixed like magic. So kudos, that takes some good writing to just erase all of the hateful feelings in one go.
All in all I'm super happy with the conclusion of this series, but I do wish that this book had been split into two with a lot more details in certain areas.
I wasnt sure what to expect since there was a lot to go story-wise after book 2 and the author did a good job giving us a lot of answers to our questions and closing loose ends, but some things weren’t handled/were glossed over, so I wonder if she plans to give us spinoffs. I loved this series, I liked how different it was, it was a nice refreshing read compared to some of the tougher stories I have recently been reading/listening to. I enjoyed the humor she infused with the dynos trying to convey human emotions/phrases or them not understanding human ways haha.
I was on the fence with Axxol and I still am not 100% bought, but I am gonna read the epilogue/bonus scene and hope more airtime with him will make me like him more haha. He did redeem himself with the 2nd cave/living space, but it felt rushed to be honest with his redemption arc. I still think this should have been a 4 book series, I think it would have helped flesh out this story and give Axxol airtime and the others have more time with Natalie, and let the storyline breathe. I think the plot was unique and fun, love me some alien dinosaur shifters haha. I also think the newest addition to the group could have used some more airtime haha but I think she will get more if there are spinoffs to this trilogy.
I also admired how the author tied in the side characters and the twist on the villains. I didnt see some of that coming, I assumed the bad guys weren’t the bad guys, but not how the author tied it all together. Again, great idea and I would have eaten up more books in this world. We just didnt get the opportunity since it was all crammed into this finale. The steam in this one was fabulous though! I loved seeing Sn and Riz get some time (again only one part and I wanted more!!). I loved Lohr’s encouragement and how he was a stabilizer for the group. Even Big Red had a big growth/arc from book 1. I enjoyed these males and wish we could have more! See a theme here hahaha.
I would have easily given this 5 stars but because of the rushed nature/crammed sequencing I gave it 4 stars. I would still recommend this series, I love everything this author puts out. I hope this comes to audio, I would think the aliens would be hilarious if the delivery is done well. And Natalie is amazing and one of my favorite MCs by this author. She drove this story and really helped keep them together. I was happy she stood up to them and told them how it was gonna go hahaha and the ending. What a BA!!!
I really enjoyed this series. It was a new and different take on 'deadly alien RH heroes fall in love with curvy heroine at first sight and save the universe.' The aliens were very alien and the story had twists and turns that kept you riveted until the very end. I usually wait for a series to be complete before starting it, because I read so much I'll forget a book entirely in the time it takes for the rest of the series to drop. I started the first book thinking the series was complete and ended up having to wait for both of the next two books, but I never forgot the story. It wasn't Jane Eyre, but for alien monster smut that has an actual story behind it the reader would find interesting, it was spectacular and the twist at the end was incredible. I'm not much for heroines who hide behind their men, so the fact Natalie was brave and her courage came from a place no one would ever suspect made for an ending which makes me hope the author has more ideas for this universe. It would be a real shame for all that amazing world building to go to waste. If sci-fi romance is your guilty pleasure, you should get the first book and dive in. The action starts in the first chapter and doesn't stop until you close the last page of the third book. I can't laud this series enough. I read a lot of fantasy and sci-fi romance, so finding a new take on an old trope is refreshing to me and I'm glad I bought book one on a whim. Do yourself a favor and do likewise.
I read ALOT and have many fav books. This series is my top 10 now. I fell in LOVE with how the relationship progressed. How her mate treated her then the rest of the squad. I was not expecting to fall in love with these characters! I even wrote the date for this release in my calendar and had to change it twice! I would def read more of these and god I hope you write more!! Such a nice change to the regular everyday alien romance books. Seriously though PLEASE WRITE MORE about this world! The storyline was so refreshing and new but completely pulled me in. I only wish it was longer and Axxol had to beg longer lol. Kroktl is my new fav book boyfriend, he was an AMAZING mate and only cared about her safety and health.. even during his crazy time. Thank you so much for finding a new story and actually making it so enjoyable to read!, Holly next PLEASEEEE
I wasn’t sure where the author was going with this book. When deserter Axxol swallows, yes literally, Natalie and jumps to an unknown location the team is rightly distraught. Not only did he leave them in the middle of a firefight, but she’s their mate. The Dynosauros world grows in this book to learn more about each of the Dynos and what they can do individually and together as a team. Tracking down Natalie is their topmost mission, and then they would discuss the damage coming to Axxol.
FUN! I said it before, and I will shout it to the rooftops now; this series is FUN. Easy reads, full of spicy time (phew) and lots of one-liners that I can’t post here for fear of giving away a plot point.
CW/TW: Sexual Content, Panic Attacks/Disorders, Violence, Blood, Murder
The wrap up of the trilogy brings the entire squad together. The story felt a little light or maybe stretched is a better word. The book tried to cover a huge amount of plot and emotional growth in the characters and there just isn't enough body to support that goal. I had been expecting more spicy scenes in the trilogy based on the set up of a reverse harem. The spice is good where it appears but the story tried to cover so much ground the sexy parts were few and far between. Over all a good read, but it feels as though there's some more fill needed to wrap up the squad, DSC, the Myrm, and the sleazy professor. It felt a bit rushed to me.
This final book in the series is just as good as the first two. Natalie is just ravenous for her squad. The squad would do anything to protect her. The original alpha, a traitor, or is he? I’ll let you decide. I love all of the main characters for their different personalities and odd appearances and abilities. Though, I never saw the twist at the end coming. I really hope we get to continue this world through the eyes of Nat’s best friend, or there will be a lot of unanswered questions about the world/universe left unanswered for me. This is why the half star loss, I feel like something is missing and incomplete.
This was a really cute story, but like the other reviews have said, I am left wanting a 4th book. For a series labeled as RH, the majority of the guys barely get any attention. Kroktl is clearly the main guy and I'm not a fan of one guy being a "center". I also found some of the plot a bit complicated for something otherwise light hearted, I can normally follow complicated plots but I struggled here! Otherwise I had a lot of fun. Seeing such hard and tough guys turn into absolute mush for their mate was an adorable experience to watch. For such a short series I managed to fall in love with the guys quickly, and loved Natalie's growth as well.
I love this final book in the trilogy. It was very fast paced and I read it quickly. One of the things I liked about it the most was the slow burn. Axxol wasn't immediately accepted again one Natalie got swallowed and it took a lot for the squad to finally come together. Some very interesting things happened. I love how it ended. I think another story arc would be amazing. There aren't any wrap-ups when it comes to the DSC but hopefully there might be more books in the future. I received an ARC and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I've had my eye on this one since it came out as I've always been dinosaur obsessed add in some aliens and it's a must read. I've been in my alien romance era and the Dynosauros are awesome they are shifters but with a dinosaur form but aliens who are genetically engineered as elite fighters. They are awesome and I loved getting to know Kroktl. Throw in that Natalie's a archeology student who happened to run into a dinosaur creature in the jungle. This is the third and final book in the series. We've added the rest of the team into the mix and now Natalie's pregnant and they are being hunted.
Once again it was over the top and fun ;) A few of the thing weren't to my liking, the Axxol situation went from hate to Natalie letting him come on her like a flip of a switch. There were a lot of new information and it felt a bit too info-dumpy for me. It would have felt better if the book was a bit longer, because it felt a bit rushed from the new info to the action and birth of the baby. And dr Snyder's situation was weird, why didn't he have any soldiers with him? Holly was so scared that he had a small army in his employ and then it just didn't happen.
I am so happy we finally got an end to this series. I blew through this in hours, I couldn’t put it down. We left off the last book with the FMC being ate by a Dino, and this picks up right where it left off. This whole series has been fast paced, and this one didn’t disappoint. I feel like it went even faster, and the plot twists and turns were ones I couldn’t predict. Fantastic story, and in time it Joely gets inspired to write more in this world I will be estatic.
This book picks up right after the second one. Natalie has been taken by the final member of the squad Axxol. Of course nothing is as it seems and many things have been kept from all of them. I loved watching the journey Axxol goes on to redeem himself. Lots of spicy scenes and some nice twists in the plot. Best ending ever for Natalie and her squad. I really hope the Holly gets a book of her own one day.
This series has been strange and unusual... Albeit enjoyable, yet not realizing the "alien / Dyno / strange limbs" was a thing, here we are. If you've never read anything by Joely Sue Burkhart, then beginning with this series may be a touch deep into the cave of curiosities for one. I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't give it 4.5; the book is good, but short and seemed rushed. The whole series is short and a blur, but a good blur (if that makes sense).
DNF - quit @40% I wish I hadn’t picked up this series. The whole thing just kept getting weirder and weirder. I put it down & just couldn’t bring myself to pick it up again. The storyline is shakey at best, most of the 3 books seem to be based on shock value, nothing else.
At my age (62), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
This wasn't a cliffhanger, but there is certainly room to expand the story. I really enjoyed this series, way more than I expected.
It was really just one long book, if we're being honest, but it was well written if a little pricey when you consider the short sections you are paying for individually. I got book 1 for free, so it lessened the sting. Not sure I would sign up for a longer series from this author for this reason.

I loved this series. It was so unique and fun to read. I love we get to see Axxol rejoin the squad and see them come together and work as a team again. We learn so much in this book i felt it was a little rushed and would've liked a little more of a connection between Natalie and Axxol. Overall a great series.
Man oh man this third book was a doozy! Revelations are made. Reconciliation as well. They discovered why the evil corporation was going to exterminate them. Hey I don’t think this is the end of the story. What happened to the scientist alien dude. Also the drone. I hope more is coming.
The final book in Dynosauros series. We get to see the relationship tighten and evolve between Natalie and Kroktl, Rizan, Snryx, Lohr and finally Axxol. We learn the thirty about the team. If you enjoy si-fi and alien shape shifters this was a good series. Lots of spice I wish there would have been a little more spice with the others.
This series was a ROARing good time! 🐯 I love when there is a great storyline as well as great spicy scenes! 🔥 I have read one other alien spicy series and this one was just as good! I loved that it was on Earth and not another planet! 🌍 I am currently taking Microbiology and appreciated the science in the book! 🔬 #spicyreads #alienromance #sciencefiction
Wow 🤩 I have been waiting for this book 📕 I absolutely loved this series!! If you are a fan of SPICY 🥵 fantasy (alien/dino) romance 🥰 this series is a MUST…. This book is the third and final in Natalie’s story. Her and four hot alien men. It’s got tentacles 🦑 an alien baby and so much more.
(Spoilers) Although I do kinda want Holly to find a squad. I wonder if they could log into the network hmmmm I just want another book I know this is a trilogy and finished I just not ready to be done. Anyway good luck to nat
This trilogy has been so different from anything I've read. It's one of those guilty pleasure reads. I love how things turned out. Hopefully, there will be a spinoff series.
Great ending to this series. FMC Natalie gets eaten by a Dino, so you know no big deal LOL Fast-paced and def been an interesting series to read that's for sure! If you like weird mashups between human and other creatures this series is for you, and if that's a no-then please keep it moving.
Joely can write anything! This series has been epic I was skeptical at first... dinosaurs.... but in true joely fashion she sucked me in with page 1 and I devoured the series as it came out and love every minute of it!!
So many things I would like to see from this book series. Does Holly get her own book? Does Snyder become less of jerk? What happened with HQ? Please can you see more on this universe? Thank you for this unique series.
What a story! A glorious conclusion. A great happy ending. The best part is that Natalie saves her men, squad and the day. The true villain is defeated and the original villain is humbled and an ally. Hooked!
