Surviving the truth almost kills them. Living the lie is far worse. Couldn't finish -- pet peeve with characters descriptions

After reading this author's book, A Twist of Hate, I eagerly bought this one as well. The premise for the book was entirely believable: a young woman arrives at the home of a classmate (who's the son of an extremely wealthy man) at the exact moment of his kidnapping and is drugged and taken as well. They bond during their captivity while helping each other survive -- one of them more than the other! I thought that the book was well written

Reece Wyndham was just suppose to drop off Christopher's literature review sheet, and maybe ask Chris if he needs a date to a certain party.... But when she got there, she saw two hooded men dragging him into a van... She run fast but they had seen her and kidnapped her as well.

I love this book. Despite them getting kidnapped and all, instead of wallowing in fear, they found humour in getting to know

I absolutely adored this book. It's been so long since I've read a Crystal Hubbard book that I'd almost forgotten how well she writes. Her ability to draw you into the story is one that many authors wish they had. This is a new adult novel about a kidnapping, the rescue and the aftermath.

I know I'm being vague, but I just don't want to be a spoiler. The main characters, billionaire heir and spoiled brat, Christopher Daley and super competitive, super smart and practical Reece Wyndham are both ve

AliveButHarmed!

This was one of most compelling kidnapping stories I've read in a while. When a billionaires son is abducted and one of his classmates is caught in the crossfire, the story took on a suspenseful and exhilarating pace with each page. Christopher Daley was known by his fellow classmates as a rich snob. Reece Wyndham secretly had a crush on Christopher, as he felt the same about her. So when he realized Reece was unwillingly and unknowingly thrusts into his nightmare; he chose a most

This was the second "Prescott High" book. However, this can be a stand alone book. This was a YA novel that did not patronize the reader.

In general, this book is about two teenagers, Christopher and Reese who are kidnapped and what happens whens after they survive the rescue. I liked this book because you had two people from two walks of life that experienced the same event. How their families attempted to make it better for them. How sometimes the good intentions of others can get in the way o

This is my first YA novel by Ms. Hubbard and I really really enjoyed it. Its about two teenagers, Christopher and Reece who are kidnapped and how they survived. The friendship and the attraction that developed between the two main characters during their capture was sweet. I did not want this story to end, I wanted to read more about Christopher and Reece lives after they were rescued. I hope Ms. Hubbard writes a sequel.

Christopher August Daley III goes out of his way to watch over Reese Wyndham when they are kidnapped. Once they are rescued, she is determined to help him get through the healing process.

Crystal Hubbard has a way of pulling the reader into the novel until you could almost experience the emotions going through the characters.

I really enjoyed this book. Tough subject matter, but the characters were well developed. I really felt Reece's strength and Christopher's pain. I liked how their ordeal strengthened their connection. There was a real bond there and I think the author captured it perfectly.
