En 2008 leí The empath, el primer libro de la saga de Draicon Werewolf, un libro entretenido sobre un chico que pertenecía a un raza con la que no se identificaba y que quería escapar de ella al conocer a la protagonista femenina. No continué con la saga porque nunca despertó en mi el interés que si habían despertado otras muchas autoras de fantasía romántica

nocturne pertama yg gw baca n lsg bikin gw jatuh cinta banget.. ^^
terjemahannya bagus banget.. bahasanya ga lebay n adegannya mantap2 smua..
gw bayangin kl difilmin pasti bakal keren nih..
secara masi demam werewolf gitu (meskipun gw masi lbh suka vampire.. =P)
penggambaran nicolas sungguh keren banget.. cuma sayang rambutnya panjang.. jadi kebayang jacob.. huahaha..
pokonya top deh =D

A story about werewolves. The heroine does not realise that she is werewolf and only knows that she is different from others. Her destined mate finds here and must convince her that she is werewolf and that she belongs with him.
Aku suka sekali dengan kisah Nicolas dan Maggie. Kisah mereka sangat luar biasa. Aku bahkan bisa merasakan apa yang dirasakan oleh mereka. Dan aku sangat bersimpati kepada Nicolas my lovely draicon 😍

After recently reading the latest book in the Draicon Werewolf series, I decided to go back and see where the series began. I can't say it measured up to The Shadow Wolf. More like it suffers from first-bookitis. There are glimpses of what I enjoyed so much in the later installment, but it didn't quite hit the mark.

Bonnie Vanak has been a favourite since her first book from Dorchester, The Falcon and the Dove. She has a talent for writing, whether it is Historical Romance or Paranormal Romance, she is proving adept at both genres.
She plays with a wonderful grasp of characters, she grabs your sense of fair play and right and draws you in by inendo and touches of evil and malificence, then brings the hero and heroine in to combat the very forces that would pull them apart.

Silhouette and Harlequin books can be good for a quick read and I was looking forward to The Empath based on other reviews elsewhere. That said, I finished the book but it could have been so much better. Let's talk about Nicolas-the-Man-Tease. Supposedly Maggie-the-Empath doesn't know her history. This was a good book with an interesting storyline, but having read some of Vanak's books and loving them, I wasn't blown away with it, although it did have some exciting moments and was very well-written. I realize that the first book in a series tends to be the weakest, and I took that in stride. I think it was also the matter of it taking a little too long to realize what Nicolas' motivations are and not understanding why he was so dogmatic about making Maggie into a cold-blooded killer of th

I actually drifted to a halt on this book a while ago, but as I'm looking at all the things I have and want to read next year (and let's not kid ourselves, the next several) the fact that I've had little desire to pick it up again means that ultimately it just wasn't for me.

A werewolf that doesn't know she's a werewolf and the lone wolf that loves her and needs her to help save the pack from the evil Morphs. Sound unrealistic? Perhaps but that's the point of the Nocturne series of romances and boy are they great.
Maggie and Nicholas are great characters that you can't help but come to love, especially Maggie's devotion to her dog Misha. And the chemistry between the hero and the heroine is electric! Definitely worth the read, if you like darker tales of love.

i was so looking forward to reading this book it sounded really god. however i found it really disappionting with the werewolves almost being a backstory. it could have been so much more like please be more creative we only saw the character through werewolves eyes once when she could have given the reader a very sureal experince! it's now i realise how good stephanie myers is. and the character were way too lay back maggie just went along blindly with out a fight - the small amount resistance s

I didn't like Nicolas - the overly aggressive, bossy, take charge beta who acted like an alpha. He hunted down and basically kidnapped his mate and transported her to his home for ulterior motives. Maggie is one of those TSTL heroines who really got on my nerves with her "I won't hurt an animal" speech...again and again. Now I have nothing against animals, I personally would hurt a person before I'd hurt an animal. It was just the way she said it.

Jalinan ceritanya mengalir lancar, terjemahannya juga bagus, chemistry Nicolas dan Maggie sangat terasa, mungkin karena kedua bisa saling membaca pikiran sehingga jarang terjadi kesalahpahaman layaknya cerita-cerita di seri lainnya.
Intinya walau harus kecewa karena buku yang aku pinjam dari rental ini cacat dengan hilangnya 63 halaman, namun aku tidak menyesal sudah membaca Nocturne kali ini, ha3

Got this book when I went to library and decided to try another author. It's OK, would I purchase any of Bonnie Vanak's books - No. Much better authors around that I would spend my money on ie Christine Feehan, Alkexandra Ivy, Kresley Cole. Lora Leigh etc. but I would get her books from the library if I could not get any of my favourite authors, so hence the three star rating.

penuh action, & ga lupa love story nya. akhirnya ada juga werewolf yg menurut gw bisa sekeren vampir, walaupun yg ini lebih ke shape shifter. tapi Nicolas itu perwujudan dari seorang werewolf tangguh, prajurit, lembut, keren & beda dalam saat bersamaan. ga nyesel kok bacanya. ^^
