great book, very clear instructions and pictures.
all quilts given for 3 sizes (that is, fabric requirements and etc)
it does give directions for using 4 or 6 inch squares as well as "charm squares" which are 5 inches (hence the 'nickel' designation)
it does NOT say, but a different reviewer did, that its very easy to make the blocks using the ten inch square "layer cakes' to get a bigger square fast!

Excellent collection of patterns; some great ideas for scrap quilts. The instructions assume you are working with "nickel" patches or charm squares, but I used a combination of scraps and cut-up yardage to make several of these projects.

great quilt pattern book

loved the patterns, great directions...I’m already working on one. I think it is worth purchasing. Nice to have it in my Kindle library too.
