Regina Hart's Harmony Cabins is the second book in the Finding Home series, and aside from the main romance, there are several story arcs that are clearly carried forward from the previous book and would go on in the next book. I'm reading this book out of order, but I can easily follow the whole thing despite its rather large cast of characters. The series is set in Trinity Falls, another of those wonderful small towns where the scenery is always gorgeous, everyone knows your name, and the guys

After a series of shattering losses, his wife to an extramarital affair, his daughter to leukemia, all (founding son/paper owner/restaurant owner/resort owner) Jackson Sansbury wants is solitude. The best that can be said about this book is that it never pretends to be anything other than what it is. Harmony Cabins is a cozy romance crossed with a porn flick. Most of the book is taken up with a large cast of middle-aged to elderly people moaning about heartbreak and trying to manipulate each other. The remainder is extremely explicit (and highly improbable) sex.

Audra Lane has come to Trinity Falls incognito, suffering from writer's block, and owing her music publisher several songs. The owner of the resort where she's staying, Jackson Sansbury, seems to be a gruff, unkempt individual, who looks like he would have nothing in common with Audra. Both have heartache and trust issues. And in the background are Doreen Fever, Ean's mom, who is planning on running for mayor, and Darius' father, Simon, who is planning on running against her.

I enjoyed the blooming relationships, but there was too much contentiousness. If a story needs conflict, this one had it in spades. There were probably at least 7 sources of conflict, all with obvious solutions. I liked the characters well enough. The story arc was predictable and familiar. I will say the author did a lovely job weaving the tale of 2 people discovering one another and themselves in the process. Some people make it easy to become a better version of yourself.

Jackson Sansbury lives in a small town, Trinity Falls, where everyone knows everyone and they are all like a family. Jack has secluded himself off from the rest of the community for almost 3 years because he is grieving the loss of his daughter and has thrown himself into renovating the property of Harmony Cabins. That is, until Audra Lane, a successful songwriter from Los Angeles develops writer’s block and decides to go to Harmony Cabins to recharge her creativity. Audra inspires Jack to expre

Jackson "Jack" Sansberry is the great-great-grandson of the founding fathers of Trinity Falls. He's had some bad times in his personal life and has bought and immersed himself in his latest project, refurbishing the cabins of Harmony Cabin Resort in Trinity Falls. He had no guests until Audra Lane showed up. She planned on staying for three weeks while she wrote three songs for her business manager, Benita.

Harmony Cabins by Regina Hart
Book starts out with Andrea posing as Penny Lane and arriving in Trinity Falls, Ohio for a month.
Jack is not only the owner but the desk clerk and he has past issues that he needs to get over and finds himself fascinated by Andrea.
The town has it's problems with the race for a new mayor. Lots of drama going on and it's easy to keep the characters straight.
Love all the things Jack and Andrea do together as he finds out about why she is in town for a full month...

Harmony Cabins (Finding Home #2) by Regina Hart is a contemporary romance set in a close knit town in Ohio. The primary story is between Audra, a songwriter from LA who needs a quiet place to cure her writer's block and Jack, the taciturn owner of the cabin she rents who is a man with a tortured past...but this story is multifaceted bringing in other characters with their own interesting storylines. I especially liked Doreen's story--an energetic widow who is just discovering the courage to purs

Book 2 of the Finding Home series is a great read. Was good to continue learning about many of the characters from book 1, and to see the start of a romance between the reclusive Jackson and songwriter Audra Lane, who needs solitude so that she can recharge her creative muse.
Ms. Hart beautifully weaves plot, setting, and characters together into an amazing book. Can't wait for book 3 to be released! ...more

Regina Hart has written a heartwarming, funny, laugh out loud story. This story shows the struggle to overcome grief and loss can be made and friendship, family and love can endure. After the loss of his daughter, Jackson became a recluse. Audra is suffering from writers block after a disastrous relationship. While both are wrangling with their demons, they come together and learn to live, laugh and love again.

once again Regina Hart touches our soul in the small town of Trinity Falls, Ohio. Audra "Penny Lane" escapes to Trinity Falls to relax and getting her writing mojo back. While on the other side of the coin Jackson Sandsburg has closed himself off from the word to deal with his grief. Reading Trinity Falls, I found my self laughing and crying. understanding the agony of these two people. Well written and engaging story, thank you Regina.

I won this book through goodreads..this book was pretty good. Romance and drama all in one. I shed tears with Jack's
Past. I didn't mind the side stories with the other town characters, but found it a bit excessive. I really just wanted to read about jack and Audra. Otherwise, it was a good read and recommend it to anyone who loves this genre. Regina Hart writes very well. ...more

Harmony Cabins is the 2nd book in the Trinity Falls series. We catch up on the people from the first book and introduce Jack, the owner of the cabins, and one of his guest, Aubra Lane, songwriter from LA. Jack begins to change after the loss of his daughter. very real with a touch of heat in this relationship.

Harmony Cabins is another great story by Regina Hart in the Finding Home series. This is the story of Jack and Audra but we also get to revisit all the lovely folks of Trinity falls and learn a little more about it. I look forward to reading more stories about this town and it's occupants. Really looking forward to what's going to happen with the sexy reporter, Darius.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads and it was my first time to read from this author. It's a love story between two people with very different backgrounds who were drawn together through an attraction that surprised them both. Good storyline and read.
