Interesting overview but not a good reference book. Aimed primarily at product designers, it has a fair assortment of short articles by different artists. The short article on sketch books, using and making your own was excellent.

A lush volume, very attractively made. But alas, while it sets out for a variety of learning goals, this book enables the reader in none one of them. In their ardor to underline every useful aspect of sketching the authors outline their own habits but never make them concrete or helpful in any way. Written like there was no editor involved. Also, what's with all the washing machines?

Not a book I would read for fun, but it does what it sets out to do and does it well.

There is one chapter on web-design with examples and tips. I didn't find it useful.
I would rather recommend reading Sketching User Experiences: The Workbook (but it's also not perfect)

A good overview on drawing to represent ideas. I'd recommend it as reference to anyone starting out.
