Axelia fought an army of vampires and survived. Once fated as the destroyer of the vampire race, she is now welcomed into the immortal empire and revered as a god.

But instead of relishing her victory, she faces a dangerous new world and an empire at war. Axelia is thrust into the position of supreme vampire and caught in the crossfire of battle. To make matters worse, her

Another 5 Amazing Stars!!!!

Zee's adventure continues in this another action pack novel!

This time she is placed into the position as supreme vampire, hailing her as the "divine" and is caught in the crossfire of battle between the monarchy and the rebels. And it doesn't help that Lucas, the only person she trust most, is keeping distance from her, alienating her when she needed him most. While the enemies know how to get her, by hurting those whom she loves most!

I very much loved this as much as

I loved the first book in the series. Even though I read the first book over a year ago, I still recall how amazing it was and the feeling I got when I finished it.

Zee was once being hunted by the vampires, but now they have realized that all vampires are connected to her. If she bleeds, they all bleed. If she dies, they are die. She's now protected within the empire of vampires and treated as the divine one. Her newfound h

Is this done, forever?! :o So good and so action packed! Loved it!

I looked back to my review of the first book. I read it again and I came across what I said about fade out scenes.

My only problem with it was that there're lots of fade out scenes. I mean, not sex scenes, cause there's no sex scene as of yet. I want to see how they practice, like with Lucas' Obaia, or how Lucas trained Zee. I want to see how they would DO it. But it was not included and just treated like they already finished the

I liked this one much better. It's a lot more edgier and interesting. Even the humor was better written than last book, much less contrived and well woven into the flow.
If you liked Zee in the last book, you'd love her even more in this. She continued to kick ass but was much more mature and smart this time around. I especially liked her new power. It was very cool.
Logan was very distant and very much absent for a long time. I couldn't quite feel him still, but I did feel the connection that he

First of all, love the cover. Second, I ravaged the poor ebook under two days (two words: time management). My reaction: WOWZA. Let’s be honest, sequels sometimes get bagged on but that will not be the case with I Am Forever. Wynne’s continuation of Zee’s story was on point.

In this book, Zee is “alive” (ha) and she’s now called (and treated like) the divine. Who wouldn’t love that? With super hot Lucas by Zee’s side and everyone bending to her every whim, including the stick in-her-butt empress,

I Am Forever picks up where What Kills Me leaves off: the Monarchy has just found out that Zee is unkillable. Oh she can be killed, but the entire vampire race will die with her. Now the Monarchy must figure out what to do with her: imprison her or bring her into their folds. The answer is obvious and can accomplish two goals.

Zee is immediately renamed and presented to the entire vampire race with a “Do Not Kill” creed placed on her. The Monarchy lavishes her with jeweled outfits that Channing b

Sometimes vampires take themselves too seriously. They are scary blood suckers with healing abilities and fighting skills, but it wouldn’t hurt to crack a joke now and then.

That’s why I really enjoy the lead character of I Am Forever and What Kills Me, the hilarious, spunky, sarcastic, vampire Zee. Being labelled as the destroyer of vampires while being held captive in the Monarchy of vampires is anything bu

This book suffered from pacing and plot issues. The beginning and middle where just so boring, the plot did not make a full appearance until the end.

There was tons of teenage angst, Axelia lost her spark until the end. Lucas's brother, Taren, is right, no matter how many centuries pass Lucas is still a teenager. The amount of existential angst these two generated negated their entire previously established relationship and was quite frankly unnecessary.

It is heartbreaking to say that the only r

YES. YES. Oh my fucking god, it was AMAZING.

Did you notice the long periods of silence? I bet you did. I bet you're wondering why I emphasized the silence so much. I'll tell you why. It has been almost 9 months since I read "I am Forever" and I have heard zip, none, shitto of the next upcoming book. It's not even up yet on goodreads. I've heard nothing about it except that it simply will exist.

I'm not trying to come across as harsh,

So good! I loved this book though it was a little slow to start with, but it definitely picked up about the 30% mark. Zee was torn between being a typical teenage girl wanting to be with her family, boyfriend and her BFF, while bearing the responsibilities and duties of being the 'Divine'. There is nothing whiny about Zee, she just sucks it up and deals with it, though sometimes it is hard to tell the good guys from the bad. I loved the witty banter between Zee, Lucas and San. I Am Forever kept ...more

I was a little disappointed with this book. I truly enjoyed the first book, What Kills Me. The first half of this one was kinda lacking for me. It was mainly Zee being told she's The Divine and what is expected of her. It just became redundant. However, it did get exciting once things started rolling. The Rebels against the Monarchy. Lucas is eve present, always faithful swordsmith...and love. The Emperess was a very cool character. Zee getting a resolution with her family was perfect. I did lik ...more

I am a Super Vampire. So, why am I locked up with Lucas in an empty room, while the Empress and her cronies decide our fate?

They can’t kill me or they all die.

Spoiler Alert: I Am Forever is the sequel to What Kills Me. I will do my best to give little or nothing away, because I feel this book is even better than the first and I would like you to experience it for yourself.

I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of I Am Forever, the sequel to What Kills Me! I became extremely attached to the main character and her story after reading the first book, so naturally I fangirled at the chance to read the second book. Wynne Channing has concocted the perfect writing formula and applied it to this series. I Am Forever is fast-paced, intricate and incredibly imaginative! She's taken your classic vampire story, stomped on it, and morphed it into something fresh and enjo ...more

"She pushed her weapon at me but she was too slow. I grabbed her arm and with one jerk broke the bone, a splinter tearing through her flesh."

At last! The most awaited sequel of What Kills Me, I Am Forever, is finally here! A sequel where we can delve into the relationship of Lucas and Zee and to also find out what will happen to her!

Now that Zee isn’t being hunted down and risk getting killed that could result to extinguishing the vampire race, she now has to discover how to continue without

phenomenal sequel to an amazing book 1.

Both books are amazingly well thought out. Each character is very well built and we as readers are able to connect with Zee as she struggles with her new role and life. The action is fast paced and the fight scenes are exceptionally gruesome and detailed. Ms. Channing did not leave anything left unsaid during those pivotal scenes of sadness and heartbreak as well as adding in a well-placed love story. Each character adds his or her own touch to the plot an

I received an ARC copy from the author for an honest review.

Not only is the cover gorgeous but the sequel is just as amazing as "What Kills Me". Not many sequels exceed my expectations.

"I Am Forever" starts out where the first book left off. We find Zee and Lucas awaiting their fate. It's non-stop action! The writing is smart and the dialogue is witty. And some romance in there. This is a vampire story like no other out there. The storyline never stops for a moment as you are swept right into th

Lucas is definitely in the running for best book boyfriend this year!

Another win for this talented author who made me care about vampires again when I thought for sure I could never read another vampire book again.

Axelia and Lucas are back only now they’re living under the same roof as the Empress and as is typically par for the course things are complicated. This time around the cast expands even further and we meet Lucas’ brother and Axelia’s friend from back home, as well as some other really

Ok so after the action packed first book and the way it ended I've been dying to read this. Part one of this book had me a little disappointed in Zee, so much so I was getting concerned this might suffer from book 2 syndrome. JUST WAIT till you get to part 2!!!! OMG I couldn't put it down. Action packed and nail biting included! This series is really good and I think anyone who likes either UF or PNR will love this. Don't let the YA tag fool you either, this is not really a YA book at all think ...more

I really liked book one in this series and the sequel was just as good! It started off with a bang and didn't let up until the last sentence.

The characters were good, and I really liked all the growing pains that Axelia went through in this book. I Love Lucas, even throughout the rough patches in the book. He was a constant in Axelia's life and I liked that.

Without giving too much away, I have to say this was a great book. It was full of action, vampires and romance. This book deserves five glit

I just love Wynne's books! The second book in her series was just a good as the first. Thank goodness!!! I always worry that the 2nd book won't live up to the awesomeness of the first. But I am happy to say, Wynne did not disappoint. Zee is a kick ass vamp and Lucas is as brooding and steamy as before. Yum yum. Loved it!

4 stars — Oh man, that was an epic sequel! I’m kind of sad there probably won’t be anymore in this series, because I’m curious about a few of the things that Ms. Channing set up. But at least I wasn’t left unsatisfied, I really appreciate that.

I will admit, I wanted to shake Zee for most of the Part One of this book. She is soooooo naive, it’s almost unbearable. I was questioning things left, right and center, and she’s just oblivious. It made me want to r

Great continuation of story line. No simpering heroine in this story. Glad to see Zee take her future in her own hands. Unanswered questions though, what did they plan to do with her blood? I have my ideas, but may never know. Hope she decides to right more about these characters.

Vampire story with a fresh new twist on origin

Good read. With the upper hand she was gifted, I would have preferred the heroine to have handled the conflict differently.

She started writing horror/fantasy tales as a girl. She still has the first novel that she wrote when she was 10. It’s (unintentionally) hilarious.
