Hi, Brittany,

I'm sorry for the slow reply. I haven't been on Goodreads for a while. I was focusing on getting A Spirit Displaced finished and edited. The book is with a few beta readers at the moment and the cover is being designed, but I'm hoping to release it towards the end of January 2016, or, if I miss that, early February 2016.

Happy reading!(less)

Well, this book certainly surprised me. After the disaster of the second book, I was not hopeful, however I was pleasantly surprised.

This book flowed much better. The plot was much more interesting, and there was finally exciting scenes.

Nick and Juliette are still at it with their constant back and forth, should they be together or not. This was somewhat understandable with each having so many issues going on in their lives.

Hopefully this big bad is gone, but who knows? I can't wait to see what

I liked Andrew's latest installment in the Lansin Island series! Thank you for including me in your group of beta readers!

In this installment, the author adds depth to the characters we already know from Books 1 and 2, and some new and interesting characters become involved in the story. One thing I particularly enjoy about Andrew's writing is how it captures the way in which human minds truly function - meaning, how the mind goes from dealing with current, personal, big issues at one moment; ju

Small town life. Everyday problems. Weddings to plan, parties to attend. Car out of commission, sick grandmother, dysfunctional families. The need to go to work so the bills get paid. Just like you and me, right? Ok, so add in the little facts that the fae world turns out to be real, and an actual DEMON wants your head on a platter, (and is torturing your late mother's soul just to mess with you!), and it's your job to go to the Otherworld and defeat- not only the aforementioned demon, but, also ...more

I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review... I absolutely love this series; and I love this author even more! This third installment reads almost like a first in a series; sucking you into this new story of people like us develping talents and dealing with the Otherworldly. There is so much for Nick and Juliet to learn about their new place in the 'world', and so much for us to still discover about them. I feel like we were introduced to the supporting characters in a wh ...more

I received an ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy) of the most recent installment, A Spirit Displaced.

I love Mr. Butcher's work! He has the paranormal, which I absolutely love, he has a small bit of romance but not enough to detract from the actual story line and he has mystery. The combination makes for a book which is really hard to put down.

I wish I had started A Spirit Displaced on a Saturday instead of a Thursday since then I wouldn't have had to put it down to do silly little things like work sigh

Andrew has done it again. This book continues the series with the characters we have come to know and love, and introduces us to some new interesting ones as well. His world building is 2nd to none. You KNOW the characters, you understand them, and why they do what they do. Some may not appreciate the time Andrew devotes to building his characters, peeking into their lives and thoughts, etc, and want instead action action action

I have read the whole series ( all three books) and loved it very much. One of the most interesting series that I have read recently. I was attracted to the first book by the mystery and paranormal element of the book but was drawn by the author fine writing into the story. This series have it all, romance, family feud, witches, fae, alternate worlds, etc.. Very enjoyable.

I was given an arc (as part of the beta readers). This is my honest review.

Thank you again to Andrew Butcher for providing me with an advanced copy!
I really enjoyed this latest instalment. Juliet's connection to the spirit realm, and Nick's ability to be able to use it as a bridge, I thought worked well. And in some ways mirrors their relationship.
I hope my proof reading has been of some help.
