Review from Way Too Hot Books

Easiest way to describe Seven Day Fiance? Your best friend's hot brother fantasy. Was it good? So, so good!!!

Cowboys and Kisses. Okay, this is not a cowboy swept me off my feet love story, but there are all of the recognizable elements of good and sweet Southern romance setting. I have a weak spot for American South, if you didn't notice. First, you can read this book like standalone, I did - you won't miss anything because Seven Day Fiance talks about other charact

Seven Day Fiance is enjoyable read. It’s warm, sweet and cute romance story. From time to time, I adore reading heart melting novels, that make me swoon and grin all the time. Rachel Harris acomplished this, despite few minor issues I had with her novel.

This story is about Angelle a young woman that is supposed to have Fiance. Every family member thinks she’s already planning her wedding, while the truth is, she doesn’t even have a boyfriend. Her lies are slowly changing into catastrophe

I was recently introduced to Rachel Harris by chance. I completely fell in love with her writing while reading Book 1 in the Love and Games series. I only recently found out that Book 2, Seven Day Fiance was available for advance reading and I jumped at the chance.

Keep in mind that this is from the Entangled Bliss imprint. You know that means only hints of the yummy smut, but with the way Harris writes you won’t even miss it. Well… except for that one scene!

3.5 Living Up To Your Own Expectations * * * 1/2

It seems one of the biggest challenges in our lives is to just be who we are... not who people want us to be... or what we think we should be... It is to have the strength to realize what makes us tick and be strong enough in our convictions to follow that path... no matter how hard it may be.

This tale touches on those thoughts. We have two characters who have presented themselves to the outside world how they think is best... but have hidden from

Seven Day Fiance was a lot more than I had been expecting. Not that I was expecting it to be bad, I figured it was just going to be similar to other stories I've read of its kind. However, much to my delight, it was much better than I had been hoping for. The story had me captivated from the first chapter and smiling and laughing out loud all the way to the end. This was easily my favorite contemporary romance book of the year.

2.5 - "You can proposition me anytime, angel." Stars!

The synopsis for Seven Day Fiancé ticks all of my ‘Wanna-Read’ boxes; unfortunately the reading didn’t quite match my expectations. I am kind of surprised actually as I really enjoyed book one in the Love & Games Series – Taste the Heat. Rachel Harris has really got skill in providing an enjoyable love story, without the steam and sex that you get in some of the other Entangled Categories.

Lack of sexytimes aside (as I know to expect this with

Ya'll know that I love Jason Landry with the fire of a thousand suns, but I might love his best friend more than that. Cane Robicheaux is all that. But don't let me get too ahead of myself.

Shy Magnolia Springs transplant Angelle Prejean volunteers at the fire department and gives riding lessons part-time. So it's a total shock when she outbids everyone for a night with local bad-boy restauranteur Cane Robicheaux in the annual bachelo

I liked the storyline and the title speaks for itself. Cane isn't a relationship guy but he agrees to be Angelle's fake fiancé during the thanksgiving holidays to bring home to her parents.

I have so many feels atm, loved Seven Day Fiance.

If you're like me and love a good romance this book will not disappoint. This series keeps getting better and better.

Angelle and Cane both owned me, loved them both and watching them together had me smiling and swooning through most of the book.

The story:

However when Angelle finds herself in a bit of a sticky situation when trying to convince her parents that she's happy, by telling them she's engaged to a new man. When I read Taste the Heat (Love and Games #1) by Rachel Harris, I knew right away I was hooked – by her writing, her characters and her sexy, swoon-worthy men. Jason was an incredible character and I fell in love with him so hard and so fast, my head spun. Cane was just a secondary character in that book, as Colby’s older brother. We saw some of his personality and swoon-worthyness (yes, that is a word.. I just made it a word!), but we didn’t see a whole lot of him. In Seven Day Fiance, that al ...more

I totally fell in love with Colby and Jason’s story in Taste the Heat, but who knew that Seven Day Fiance was going to blow that out the water!! How did I read Taste the Heat without falling madly in love with Cane Robicheaux?? Rachel is messing with my head…sexy firefighters first and then bad ass guys who ride motorcycles and have tattoos. I swear it can’t get much better ;)

A-ma-zing. Rachel Harris has done it again and given us a fabulous book with a captivating storyline, amazing characters, romance, humour, flirting and a good dose of heartwarming beautiful moments combined with those that break your heart a little. I devoured it, I was glued to my kindle for four hours solid and my husband thought he had gone deaf.

I loved the first book in this series, Taste the Heat, but I loved this one even more. Yes it's the second book, but it can absolutely be read as a stand alone. You will see previous characters, but will be introduced to a whole slew of new ones who are just as fun.

This was such a fantastic story! I loved Cane and Angelle together! They had such an magnetic attraction and great chemistry and I really enjoyed the story line. Cane is so sexy, sweet, and such a caring man (and a new book boyfriend! love him!). Angie is shy but strong and determined to do things on her own terms. This story is told from both their POV’s and I enjoyed both their perspectives.

I thought the beginning was great and from there everything unfolded nicely. There is a really good buil

Rachel Harris totally rocked my socks off with this one! I mean lord the bad bot Cane is so delicious and hiding a real guy underneath all his love em and leave em attitude. That tag and bag attitude had me laughing because his tats and attitude have people fooled. But Angelle stole the story because she is so dam funny with her made up fiance and her made up wedding plans. Man this book had me laughing thinking about how she told her family she had a fiance and she wasn't even dating.

I loved the 1st book in this series, Taste of Heat, and it set such a high bar that I didn't see how Rachel could top it. That said... I was totally blown away by Seven Day Fiance! Rachel has done it again! This is one AMAZING book!

We met Angelle Prejean and Cane Robicheaux in Taste of Heat. I'm glad Rachel has returned to Magnolia Springs and given them their own story full of surprising twists. We are treated to character updates since Taste of Heat and we get to meet "Angel's" family. Since I

So wow after reading SEVEN DAY FIANCE I've decided I need to take a trip down south and find me some good ole home cooked southern fried man!

Cane and Angie sizzle on the pages. It's not a slow build-up either, it's right there like a bright light flashing. Both of them know it. Both of them are testing it. Both of them enjoy it.

I absolutely loved each page of this story. I loved being down in Louisiana and learning about different cultures, definitely want to experience what these characters d

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and it was wonderful!! While the basic premise isn't new - taking home a fake fiance to prove to the family your doing well - the story itself is fresh, fun, and sexy! I LOVE Cane even more now! What a great, sweet book. Seeing these two develop and grow in their relationship was wonderful.

Not to mention Rachels Harris' writing is superb as usual! I can happily lose myself in her words and enjoy myself as I read through her stories. <3

This review includes the first two books in Rachel Harris' Love and Games series.

One of the best experiences of reading is finding new authors who you can count on to deliver again and again and whose work you immediately connect with. After just two books, I can safely put Rachel Harris in that category. Taste the Heat and Seven Day Fiancé are everything you want in a contemporary romance: smart, loveable heroines, off-the-charts chemistry, believable romance that makes your guts clench, engagi

I am seriously running out of ways to say just how much I adore both Rachel Harris and her books, guys – but I do. I love her books.

Continuing her stories about the incredible cast of characters introduced in Taste the Heat, SEVEN DAY FIANCE offers just as much heat and even more steamy romance than that of its predecessor. While reading, this happily married lady imaged just what sort of man she would like to lay her hands on if she had ever been given

Seven Day Fiance Review on K-Books

Having been a fan of Rachel Harris since the moment I read her debut YA novel, My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, I was so excited about her Adult Romance series. After devouring Taste the Heat and hearing that Rachel was writing Cane's story I could not wait to read it. Loved seeing more of the Robicheaux fam!

Really enjoyed Cane and Angelle's story. From the moment they met in he last book, I knew they would have good chemistry and that their story would be a good one. I loved Angelle. She had really worked hard to become strong on her own, and I loved that Cane saw that strength--even more than she did herself.

And bonus-- it had an epilogue. :)

I was told I must read Seven Day Fiancé. When I got it, I had found out there’s a book before it, so naturally, my anal-retentive alter-ego had to read Taste the Heat first. Which I did —> See my review.
