Perhaps if I'd known from the outset that this would be a story about a hero's need to control the heroine, in and out of the bedroom, I wouldn't have bothered reading this. A man who wants to control and dominate his partner's life is creepy, unstable and unattractive. I can't see the appeal in a man (or woman) dominating their partner. I know that many readers are into bdsm, but if it's not eye-rolling, or boring me to tears, the descriptions are making me laugh. And I'm guessing that

Hello Readers.

Call me crazy but I really liked this book.

I mean how many times have you dreamed of a white knight coming to sweep you off your feet??

Slay down dragons for you??

Hmmm...A knight of my own....what I wouldn't do for one!!

But errrr...there's a slight problem!!

Well you see this knight is very, very rough....

1)He can't speak a sentence without using the words f*ck or shit.

2)He is a control freak.Freak as in real freak.

3)His ego is not just the humble size of Texas but whole of

I can understand why this book did not work for everyone! I, however, loved reading every page of this story.

Kristen Ashley gave me what I wanted. She gave me a true anti-hero–one who would challenge what I consider acceptable behavior in my hero. Knight was the type of character who generated, for me, an inner turmoil between my desire for a hero who genuinely loves his heroine (which he did) and my knowledge that he had few, if any, redeeming qualities, and frankly, didn't deserve

First, an apology. It is not my intent to *bash* this author. She has provided me MANY hours of enjoyment and many characters to love.

I'm conflicted. I did like some things, but it was inconsistent. To say I liked the characters, I did, but then I sincerely didn't like some of the characterizations. Maybe you can help me out..?

To be fair, I'm not a normal BDSM reader, but this was what I'd call BDSM light. It wasn't over the top, so I could hang.

What did I have issues with?

CAUTION a word of warning, do not proceed with this book if you are offended by any kind of over domineering, deliciously tempting alpha characters. 2.5 stars. Adult review for Erotic content. I can't say I loved everything about the book, but I have to give credit for Knight's ability to talk the clothes off a mannequin. I'll round up to 3 stars for the bedroom voice alone.

Has anyone else ever had an immediate and sudden urge to say a word out loud that you would never say under any other circumstance? And no, I'm not talking swear words.

Pre-reveal of the paperback cover for KNIGHT!

Knight New Cover photo KnightNewCover_zps8763b519.jpeg

Knight is the first book in Kristen Ashley's new erotic romance series, The Unfinished Heroes and I totally loved it!

Knight Sebring is your typical KA male, but rather than a hero, Knight is an anti-hero. Über alpha, super sexy, over the top controlling... and very, very bad. Knight is the kind of hero you expect to see redeemed in his own story, but that doesn't happen and ya know what? I don't care. I adore him just the nasty

This is Kristen Ashley’s first venture into the “erotic” romance genre, and I loved it! Knight Sebring is a seriously sexy, magnetic, dark anti-hero and all kinds of yummy “Dom”ineering alpha hotness. Anya Gage is very likeable and genuine and one of my favorite KA heroines. I really enjoyed their captivating, intense connection, dynamic relationship, emotional progression, and explosive bedroom scenes! YOWZA!

I'm sorry it took me a while to write this, but this was my first book by Kristen Ashley (yes, I know I'm late to the usual) and I was struggling to write a review that would do this amazing book justice.
