Wow!! Can anyone say hidden gem. This book was excellent. I am so glad i decided to give it a try. At first i didn't know if I wanted to read it. There weren't many people who had read it so there weren't many reviews for my to base my decision on. I am so glad I decided to give it a chance. Not only was it about a hot rocker but it was a different kind of rocker book. It wasn't all hearts and flowers. This book deals with the very serious issue of drug a

Harvard law student Dylan Ackhart’s life turns into an episode of VH1’s “Behind the Music” as she almost gets trampled to death by crazed fans at concert. She is saved by rock God Jeremy Mason who stops his own show and sends help to peel Dylan off the ground. Dylan ends up backstage and meets her smoking hot savior. Sparks fly between the two and then burn out pretty fast. Dylan, who is fairly reserved, is quickly turned off by witnessing a back stage groupie orgy in the works. She thinks Jerem ...more

WHAT DID I THINK: 3.5 out of 5 Stars:
This one is a hard one for me to rate since I picked up the book every chance I got, I wanted to read it. However, some parts of the story I just wanted to scream at both Dylan and Jeremy.

The characters’ behaviors were inconsistent. How could a smart girl after 3 days just fall weak to a guy who is obviously a drug addict and alcoholic?
It was not a easy book to read since it involved a beautiful, talented artist addicted to drugs and alcohol; so ad

Evryone wants to read a story with a Rock Star in it. Everyone wants to be the girl that said rock star falls in love with. Sometimes though things get in the way. Other times you get subject to first hand what the life of a Rock Star can be like for real, Especially when that Rock star has Things he needs to work through in his life.

Enter Dylan Ackhart Harvard Law Student who moves to Boston with her Best friend Theresa to attend college. Dylan did not have the greatest childhood, with parents

I went into this book expecting the usual rock star romance story, but was pleasantly surprised. Unlike most, this one deals with the not so glamorous side of dating a rockstar…

Dylan has always been a straight A student. Her biggest dream? To study law at Harvard. And the dream comes true. She moves to Boston with her best friend Theresa, her life all mapped out. On the first night however, she goes to a rock concert, front row seats to see the biggest rockstar – Jeremy Mason. And it’s love at fi
This is gonna be a partial review, why you ask ? Well rather than waste my time reading the rest of this horribly written, ill conceived book I'll review what I did read. I love me some rock star books, not gonna lie but this one was bad all sorts of bad. Dylan, seriously you've known him all of what 2 days and you're in love ? Are you serious with that shit, I didn't buy it. It was another case of insta love, but only this time it felt forced and rushed. NOT to mention that Jeremy is a fucking ...more

OMG....I so full of anger, emotions are all over the place.
First I'm so happy Jeremy found the strength to fight for his life...that means a lot to me since I love him as character so much! Yes he's a broken soul , addicted, vulnerable...but he's gold. He just needed to believe in life and love and family...things he never had since kid.

Jeremy only needed a hand...I was pissed with Dylan how she was failing totally in that role...she was a total disap

Okay so let me start of with a warning: this book does not end perfectly. The problems are nowhere near fully solved and there is a second book. I consider this a cliff hanger, some people might not say it intense enough to be considered a cliff hanger, but i definitely do. There are still many, many issues unfulfilled and I cannot predict what will happen. I cannot wait to read the second book.

With that being said I can now rave about this book. I really, really, really didn't think I would li

Talk about a book hangover! "Tracks" is a dark, raw, and emotional book that blew me away. I was seriously speechless after I finished it. I started reading tracks without really knowing anything about it. I didn't read the blurb or any previous reviews of it so I didn't really know what to expect. I guessed it would have a sexy rock star in it given the name and smoky guitar on the cover...and boy did it!

When I first started reading, it took me a little while to get into. I couldn't really figure out who Dylan was or what her issues were, it was obvious there were some but I wasn't connecting to her at first.

Harvard law student Dylan Ackhart meets rock star Jeremy Mason at his concert and the two are immediately attracted to one another. After a whirlwind three day romance they fall and they fall hard. Problem is she is naïve and doesn’t know that not only is Jeremy an alcoholic also addicted to heroin.

Dylan never partied in high school or under graduate school; her only goal was to be accepted to Harvard to pursue a career in law, she wants to be a prosecutor. Her childhood was far from perfect and

Pretty much every girl's fantasy: you're at a concert and the crazy hot, tatted up lead singer locks eyes with you and falls in love because, clearly, if they really knew you, they'd totally fall for you (cough cough, Adam Levine, cough).
Dylan and Jeremy's story shows what that could look like in reality. And in reality, you have to imagine how fucked up it could get. Of course, the sex would be hot. That's a given. But both characters have some serious shit to work through in their own heads a

This is a hard review to write to be honest, as the author is a little lax with facts and details. The consistency was at odds with what she had told us earlier on it the story, and some things just didn't ring true.
For example at the beginning Dylan is a blushing virgin, never had time to date or be with boys, suddenly Jeremy is on the scene and she has had one steady Boyf where she went all the way. There was other instances where it frustrated me to the point of annoyance.

Overall it was a great book. The story was engaging and the perfect example of a beautiful disaster between two people that aren’t necessarily meant to be together, but the readers will find themselves rooting for them. The main characters were charming and even though their story was surrounded with chaos, I, as the reader, found myself investing in their love story. Dylan, the female protagonist, was idealistic, but still written as a relatable, fascinating, and astute graduate student on her ...more

If you've ever dreamed of dating a rockstar (or even just a bad boy) this book is for you. Sarah does a wonderful job exploring the dark and tragic sides of relationships pulling on your heart strings the whole way. This story so captivating that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next one.

This book digs deep into some extremely real situations. Is their romance? Yes! Is their a sexy rockstar? Yes! Hot scenes? Yes! It has all of that, but it also contains drug and alcohol addiction. Tracks ... this is one of those books that you have to power through to get to the good stuff. It's not easy and you will feel like giving up, because Dylan is a tad naive and Jeremy is ... well, Jeremy. But about 70% into this book, I started to get really interested and went through the motions with the characters. Even as the obvious story line was revealed, I loved how it was portrayed and the few instances that separated this story from the others.

“People who don’t experience pain like that-they don’t turn out to be people of substance. You know, people who make a difference.”

This story started out pretty typical for me. Girl goes to rock concert in support of her friend who is a HUGE fan. Meets rocker. Instant love. Chaos ensues. What I didn’t expect was for their magnetism and chemistry to literally jump off the pages. This is no dove releasing, angels playing harps, love story. This is a story about growth, denial, and discovering who

I received a copy of this story for an honest review.

In her debut novel “Tracks,” author Sarah Biermann has crafted an engaging and fast-paced tale of sex, drugs, rock and roll. “Tracks” tells the story of Harvard law student Dylan Ackhart and her whirlwind romance with music prodigy turned rock and roll bad boy, Jeremy Mason.

All work and no play have definitely made Dylan a dull girl but the years of sacrifice have paid off as she prepares to enter Harvard Law School. An unex

What does a Harvard Law student and a Rock Star have in common? Yep, nothing, but they say opposites attract, right? Hell yes they do, especially in this book.

Dylan, she is the bookworm, smart and intent on making good grades and becoming a prosecutor, no time for relationships, then BAM she goes to concert with h

Tracks is a dark, raw, and emotional book. I was seriously speechless after I finished it. But I must warn you though, this is not your typical bad boy, rock star romance kind of book. Sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll…that’s Jeremy Mason’s life – he’s the epitome of a rock star, but that wasn’t always so. Jeremy is a musical prodigy – at the age of 3 he was composing classical music, age 5 playing the piano for the queen, he excelled at every instrument he picked up but it was never enough for his parents. Living in the shadow of his brother, he never felt loved, accepted, or understood – which is why he decided to be a rock star. We all know what that life entails – lots of women ...more

Talk about one unlikely pairing. Dylan isn’t even into music but somehow lands one of the most popular musicians in the world. While I did have my doubts on how they would make it work I found that their relationship that started with physical attraction immediately develops into a deeper emotional connection.

I enjoyed reading Dylan and Jeremy’s story. I

I love me some rock-n-roll books. I crave them. If they're angsty, drama filled, hot sex, man whore galore...even better. If it's well written, I can devour the book within hours. Now with all that being said there are some of those moments in this book buuuuut there were just too many problems with the story that I had a hard time getting thru even though I did finish it.

We are introduced to Dylan. From the beginning she's a shy very put together knows what she wants in life and will go after
