Ever since super star, Arial Oakley, could remember, she's been in love with her hunky co-star Bryce Valentine. The only problem: Bryce has been in a relationship with another ac-tress for quite some time. Not wanting to be “the other woman”, Arial never pursued any of her feelings for him despite how well they connected.

When Bryce suddenly becomes single, both of their wo

Grab a cup of hot chocolate and pull up a comfy chair. I think that you will enjoy this sweet romance. It was fun, sad, clean, and a pleasure to read.

Arial Oakley and Bryce Valentine are young actors living in the glittering world of excess and “do what you want” lifestyle of the entertainment industry and yet, they are striving to maintain their moral code. They have problems just like everyone else and have to deal with issues of family and fame while navigating their way through the pitfalls

The story was the timeless tale of self discovery leading to love.

It was an easy read. The plot was very obvious early on but it was still fun to read to the end and cheer the young lovers on. It was a nice way to spend a few hours on a rainy night. It's not really anything I would insist my friends read.

I received a copy of Slow Burning Fire for an honest review.

Arial Oakley has been in love with her co-star Bryce Valentine for the past nine years. Now that the show has ended and Bryce’s long term girlfriend have finally split up Bryce isn’t sure what he wants to do for the summer months. Arial is going home and after helping Bryce get home from a night out she invites him to her family farm for the next two months. What neither of them expect is to fall in love an

My Review:

A Slow Burning Fire by J.F. Jenkins was a quick romantic read. I love it when best friends fall in love! These stories just steal my heart. I loved the blurb for this book and I had a few expectations going into it. Romance ... Check! Hot Best friend ... Check! The only thing that was missing for me was the chemistry between Arial and Bryce and my connection to Arial. It was there, but not strong enough for me. The book is writen in both POV's and I really liked that. The story was pre

I felt like this book title really fit this book. The romance in this book was really slow developing. It starts out as friends and basically stays there through the whole book even though both main characters realize they have feelings for each other.

I appreciated that Arial kept her attraction to Bryce in check because he was in a relationship. She wasn't out to steal him away but instead contented herself with being his friend. When Bryce's relationship fails, he doesn't jump right into a rel

"Change I can handle, but the unknown is what worries me. What's life without a little adventure, though?"
Arial liked her co-star for a while but he was already in a relationship. After the film they were in was over they hoped to spend a little more time together so they both go back to Ariel's hometown. Bryce reveals that he and his longtime girlfriend broke it off and Arial wants to be there for him. Arial feels like this is a tough moment of his life so she doesn't want to push herself on hi
