My first and last thoughts on this novel? More please! Like, now.

This intriguing story definitely had a hard hitting back-story. It was fully developed and really made you stop and think. It also shaped the lives of many of the characters, giving you insight into who they were as apposed to who they are now. Centeno’s intensely visual descriptions paint a picture for her readers. This meshes with the very natural flow of the story to create an aura of both completeness and intensity that pulls
Honestly? I was incredibly surprised by this book. It blew me away. And that's saying a lot, considering how many werewolf books I've read. Werewolves are my favorite supernatural/paranormal/fantasy creatures. But this book, oh boy, they were so different from any of the other werewolf books I've read.

Marjorie Emery was in a car crash because she was driving way above the speed limit and she was drunk. It didn't help that a herd of deer and a huge furry beast appeared in the middle of the road.

I really don't want to sound mean or anything... but the cover really creeps me out. :/ It's soooo weird. Like they just Photoshop the head and put it there. It's not her head... >.< CREEPY. I hope the cover gets a make-over cause it's really not that good. Sorry.

Anyway, on to the review...

The whole time I was reading it I was reminded of Twilight. The first time Marjie met Kyran inside the classroom, it screamed Twilight to me. Up to you if you think that is a bad thing or not. But if yo

I've always had a soft spot for paranormal romance, and I love those creatures that howl in the night. Secrets of the Moon has no shortage of warm-blooded, sexy werewolves. For the record, if the Rousseau's moved to my town, I'd probably never leave their house.

The story starts out on a rather depressing note with main character Marjorie involved in a car accident that severely injures both Marjorie and her friends. The rest

I love reading books about werewolves and this one reeled me in right from the start as the story is well written and the characters are outstanding. I will add that there were moments when I found Marjorie and her friends to be completely immature but not enough to stop me from reading though I did roll my eyes quite

Received a copy of this book from the author, through Juniper Grove Book Solutions, in exchange for an honest review.

I am a huge paranormal fan. While I’ve neglected this genre a little lately, I absolutely adore getting lost in the world of vampires, witches and magic. But I have to admit, my all time favorite paranormal/fantasy creature is none other than the werewolf! So, when I heard that Juniper Grove Book Solutions was hosting the Secrets of the Moon blog tour, I had to get involved. And b

Read this review and more at Classy Cat Books.

I thought this book was very interesting to read, and I think Centeno has huge potential as an author, though I’d like to see her develop her skills a bit more. I read through this book very quickly because I genuinely enjoyed reading it. The concept of the werewolves in this story was fairly unique and well-described—I could tell that Centeno had a very clear vision of what her weres were like, and that’s a good sign. I’m intrigued to learn more abo

Secrets of the Moon by Kristy Centeno was a really great read. I have read a few books with werewolf's, but Secret's of the Moon had it's own edge and twist to the story. The story in general was great, but I felt that the pace of it was just everywhere. What do I mean by this? Well I was intrigued by the very first page of the book, but afterwards the pace slowed down. Then when all the mystery starts to be revealed the pace picks up again, and after reading a few more pages the pace slows dow ...more

“Having you here with me.” He closed his eyes and lowered his head so that our foreheads touched. “My body wants to make love to you, but my killer instinct wants to kill you!” Oh God, those are words you never want to hear together in the same sentence.

Hmmm where do I start. Lets start with our guy Kyran! :D I have to firstly say that I absolutely loved his entrance. Although having read the same kind of entrance in many books in the past, it NEVER GETS OLD! :D You see considering that I'm a

Well now, this is such an interesting story!! I love werewolf stories and this is no exception! A great plot line with fascinating lore and a little twist of the not so nice kind :) and oh, some great characters!! :) plus HAWT accents lol :)

I received a copy for a blog tour.

Despite the many cliches of this book, I actually enjoyed reading Secrets of the Moon.

Marjorie Emery got into a car accident with her friends due to drunk driving. Because of that result, she lost her parents' trust, one of her friend can never walk, and her popularity isn't the same as before. While reading the beginning, I had a feeling something bad would happen because of her stupidity.

Moving on. So fast forward to thirteen months later, some new students tr

So in Twilight we met good 'vegetarian' vampires like the Cullens and naughty human eating ones like Victoria and James. Well in Secrets Of The Moon Kristy Centeno does a similar thing with werewolves. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way saying Secrets of the Moon is like Twilight (because thankfully it isn't), I'm just highlighting how Centeno puts an extra twist in the werewolf story by having normal weres and those

It wasn't my first time to read about werewolves. But it was my first time to finish a book about it. I've started Shiver two years ago. But I didn't even get to the half of the story. I just didn't have the energy to read it. So yes, I was always reluctant to read about werewolves! I just feel so awkward with them. Right, weird. But I got up the courage and tried this one. Thank the heavens I did, I actually enjoyed it!

I hope the author won't take offense when I say this but I totally felt like
The secrets of the moon follows Marjorie, a college student growing up in a hick town in the USA, who suddenly finds herself thrust into a world of werewolves and danger.

The opening of this book is amazing, it takes the standard YA heroine and drops her on her head. We have a main character responsible for a drunken car crash and paralysation of a friend in the first few pages. There is also a glimpse of the werewolves that will mean so much later. The opening is excellent and I thoroughly expec

The cover of The Secrets of the Moon screams WEREWOLVES!!! The Blurb was very unclear which caused me to second guess myself. However as I read I found out I should NEVER second guess myself. HA!!! Sorry my dork is showing.

So Marjorie was the driver in a drunk driving accident, you see she swerved as not to hit an animal. As a result she and her friends were injured while none lost their lives thankfully! One lost the use of her legs. Marjorie has lived with that guilty for a little over a year.

This was a wonderful book. I feel so much for Kyran. I love him and his strength. He is love and wants to mate and he is holding back for fear of hurting her yet she loves him and wants him to. But this is complicated and as much as they want each other things get in the way. If they come together they are mated and this in Kyran’s world is huge.

Top that with Kyran’s twin brother who also wants margorie and has very little complications and this is a triangle that is not good. Marjorie though fo

Ever have a book you really want to get to the end of, but once you do you realize you need so much more of it? Yeah, well this is that book.

Marjorie is only 19 and has experienced so much already in her life. After drunk driving and crashing with her friends, she thought she would die, however, over a year later she is still alive. Her life will never be the same though.

When Kyran and is family move to town strange things begin occurring Plus Marjorie is seeing beast and also being stalked. It

Secrets of the Moon is one of the BEST BEST BEST Werewolf read I have ever read! Believe me when I tell you I have read a lot of werewolf books and seen every werewolf show but this book is amazing amazing amazing!

Marjorie is a cool ass chick. She does her thing with her friends and hangs out and is your everyday girl. That is till one day she and her friends were drinking and Marjorie crashed the car and one of her best friends is crippled and her life changes in an instance. Marjorie is so dis

Since I read the description of this book I was hooked. However, I have to say that this book...COMPLETELY lived up to my expectations!!! I loved the mystery behind Kyran and his family, it just made me want to read the book even more to find out what's going on with them. Then, when I find out one of their secrets Centeno throws another secret surrounding a certain character and it raises the stakes that much more.
Kyran: OMG!!!

Secrets of the Moon (The Secrets of the Moon saga, #1) by Kristy Centeno

Young Marjorie had a near death accident slightly over a year ago. Trying to get her life back together, while in college she meets a mysterious, angry young man, Kyran. They soon become friends, maybe even more. But Kyran and his family are hiding a secret. A secret that is soon going to alter Majorie's life forever.

The plot is original, Majorie is very likable. She is overcoming a very bad incident and trying to cope with
