The book is a great intro on modern web development technologies, but could definitely use a bit more detail in certain parts.

Decent quick read for non-techies

It was a little too basic for my liking. I mean, while the basics and fundamentals are all articulated.. I felt there could have been much more details with analogies, examples, a few steps deeper into each topic.

Great summary of web processing

Great place to find a summary of different programming languages and web processes. Not too technical but does require active thinking and looking up more detail on the web.
